Friday SLA Results From Alton, IL

-"The Rock Star" Cordell Cain(w/ "Big Money" Robert Leach) won a four-corner match with "More Than A Conquerer" Alvin Falcone, Urijah Upton, and Lonzo "Chicano" Romero when he pinned Romero with a jackknife cradle (5:32).
-Mackenzie Morgan d. "The Occult Classic" Kai Fayden after an X-Factor (9:03).
-"Second To None" Kenny Alfonso & "The Whole Thang" Rahim De La Suede d. The Revolution(Quest Parker & Anthony "Worldwide" Lopes); Alfonso pinned Quest after a brainbuster by Rahim followed by a turning frog splash off the second rope by Alfonso (10:20).
-"HeartbreakCORE" Shazza McKenzie d. "The Power Rough Girl" Ashlyn Alexander via grounded crossface chicken wing (7:33).
-"The Black Diamond" Luke Langley won a triple threat match with Jake Bosche(w/ Scott Stanley) and "The Dad Bod" Sean Orleans when he pinned Orleans after the brainbuster (7:12).  Greg Jovi left the broadcast table to congratulate Langley.
-"The Limbripper" Tommy Davis d. Nick King with the tigerdriver (6:49).
-"The Stiff Robo Ginger" Gary Jay, "The Monarch" Jeremy Wyatt, & "Death Wish" Anakin Murphy d. Nihilation("Commissar" Jake Parnell, Austin "Mad Dog" Connelly, & Victor Analog)(w/ "Cutthroat" Kenny Kalix) when Wyatt pinned Parnell after the Coronation(piledriver) (19:57).  Anakin would have been forced to join Nihilation if Parnell's team had won, but instead Kalix was freed from the group; he almost interfered in the match but changed his mind, earning Parnell's wrath in that moment.
-G.A.Y.("The Luminary" Jaques Kennedy & "The Midwest Succubus" Gwen Neodonna) d. "Cutthroat" Kenny Kalix & "Godspeed" Noah Clover; Gwen pinned Noah after Luminary lifted Noah onto their shoulders and Gwen hit a flying clothesline off the top rope to the back of the head (6:17).
-"The Baddest Man Alive" Aaron Williams d. "The Worst Person You Know" Chase Holliday via buzzsaw kick to retain the Destination Title (10:05).  Afterwards, "The King's Road Slayer" Derek Neal returned to confront Williams.
-"The Grand Regent" Camaro Jackson d. "The Old God" K.C. Karrington in a last-man-standing match; Camaro capped off his beating with a massive lariat before piling chairs and a road sign on top of Karrington to keep him down for the ten-count (16:35).  As the match ended, Camaro left a pill bottle for Karrington.
-"The Guard Dog" Mat Fitchett won a four-way dance with "The Wild Unicorn" Laynie Luck, "Cash Flow" Ken Broadway, and "Tombstone" Thomas Shire(C) to win the Gateway Heritage Title.  Eliminations:  Laynie pinned Shire after the Unicorn Cutter(flying Cutter off the second rope), thus guaranteeing a new champion (5:19).  Fitchett made Broadway tap out to a crossed-leg heel hook (8:12 total).  Laynie put up a tremendous fight against Fitchett, but Fitchett finally made her tap out to a grapevine anklelock (12:45 total).  The New Guys celebrated with Fitchett but his celebration was interrupted by "Spitfire" Davey Vega(w/ "The Main Girl" Nixi X.S.).  Fitchett immediately left the New Guys' side to stand with his long-time tag team partner, but Vega informed Fitchett that he was cashing in his guaranteed title shot for the next show on August 22nd!  Fitchett tried to apologize to Bosche & Stanley for his hasty decision, but they walked away from him to close the show.
