Friday WIA Results From Alton, IL + Other Show Results

-The show started with a promo by The Empire(Heavyweight Champion Jonathan Napier, Tyler Copeland, The Landlord, Taylor Champion, Jason Allen, & Jayson Virtue).  Virtue was told that he was in the doghouse after losing to Gavin Alexander at the previous show and that he had to prove himself to the group.
-Jason Allen won a triple threat match with Christian Alexander and Robbie McCain; Alexander Pedigreed McCain, but Allen broke up the pin with a swanton bomb and stole the fall on McCain.
-Leone Mephisto(w/ Mr. Late-Nite) d. The Hoodlum via rollup.
-Taylor Champion & Joey Grunge d. LaMarcus Clinton & Moondog Pondo when Champion pinned Moondog after an elbowdrop.
-Tyler Copeland(w/ The Landlord) d. Chase King; Copeland named Jayson Virtue as the special guest referee for the match.  Copeland delivered a blatant low blow and ordered Virtue to not call for the disqualification; he went on to get the tapout victory with the Last Chancery.
-Santa Claus and his elf had a confrontation with The Landlord...The Landlord tried to make nice by handing out candy and T-shirts to the fans, but Santa still gave him coal for Christmas.  Santa and the "elf" gave The Landlord a double elbowsmash and the "elf" revealed himself to be The Landlord's rival Robert Dorsey.
-Brandon Espinosa d. Da'Marius Jones after the brainbuster.
-Before intermission, Darkside attacked Santa and Dorsey the elf.
-LaMarcus Clinton d. Jimmy D by DQ; Trystan Brady Shadeux and his manager Nicholas Newman interfered with a chair, leading to Jimmy D accidentally hitting L.M.C. with the chair and getting disqualified for it.  Shadeux and Newman laid out Jimmy D after the match.
-Newman conducted a talk show segment with Shadeux, but Jimmy D interrupted the segment to set up a match at the next show in February.  Jimmy D speared Newman as Shadeux bailed out of the ring.
-Jonathan Napier(w/ The Landlord & Jason Allen) d. Gavin Alexander(w/ Santa Claus) to retain the Heavyweight Title; Napier took out Alexander's leg and the outside parties got involved in the match on several occasions.  That led to Napier winning after a double-stomp to the back with a chair underneath Alexander.
-The Empire celebrated their dominant night and Virtue brought out a beaten-up Mike Cope as proof of his loyalty.  Tyler Copeland ordered Virtue to do more damage to Alexander with a chair...but Virtue turned on Copeland with the chair and Cope revealed that he was just fine by jumping up and spearing Allen.  The show ended with Alexander, Cope, and Virtue standing together as the "Resistance" to counteract The Empire.
