Thursday NWL Results From St. Louis, MO

-Christian Adonis(w/ Carolina Grizelda Esmeralda Rodriguez) d. Dominick Butler after Carolina's distraction allowed Adonis to knock Butler off the top rope, then finish with a cross-legged fisherman driver (6:37).  (Elvis Aliaga w/ Lucy Mendez d. Jayden Fenix.)  After the match, Marti Belle attempted to interview Butler but he was still dazed from the match and attempted to follow Carolina back to the dressing room area.
-NWL President Major Baisden addressed the fans and gave the details of the upcoming season...the powerpoint didn't go over quite as well on this night as it did last Saturday in Kansas City.  Major moved on to the clash between the St. Louis and Kansas City teams at last Saturday's inaugural show in K.C....the Kansas City team won that night, but both members of Royal Blood pinned Todd Letterman for a fall that shouldn't have counted.  That brought out Jet & Jax Royal along with Dak Draper(who had forced his way into the K.C. team in place of Blaine Meeks) to give their side of the story.  Major brought out the St. Louis representatives for the night:  The Blood Brothers(Davey Gibson & Matthew Grundy) and newcomer Maverick.
-Party Crasher Boulder(w/ Spike) d. August Marshall(w/ Tommy Flagg) of the Anti-Social Network with a boosted sitout powerbomb (6:18).  (Mikey McFinnegan w/ Zakk Sawyers d. Austin Blackburn w/ Christian Rose.)
-"Greatness" Marcellus Gaines(w/ Drew Gold) d. "Takedown" Javy Torres after countering a flying move off the second rope with the Southpaw Shooter(knockout punch) (5:05).  (Stephen Wolf w/ Greg Jovi d. Paco Gonzalez.)
-The Underground(Adam Ryan & Jackie Lee Bosch) d. The Soldiers(Dez Wellston & Neon Iverson).  Bosch shoved Iverson off the top rope to the floor at one point, causing him to aggravate his previous knee injury; he had to be assisted back to the dressing room area.  Wellston fought on his own against both men, but Ryan pinned him after he and Bosch hit the Insomnia Dream(back suplex/top-rope double-stomp combo) (9:07).  (Danny Adams & Jake Parnell d. Mike Outlaw & Justin D'Air.)
-"Super Soul" Coco Rumble d. "The Hanover Hooligan" Jay Lutz after a Zigzag (8:47).  (Sugar Dunkerton d. Gary Jay.)  Lutz was substituting for "The Billion-Dollar Brother" Emmett DuBois (Dorian Victor), who claimed that he had cramps and ordered Clayton Fox (Matt Kenway) to pay someone to take his spot.
-"The All-American" Todd Letterman d. Cal Stark with a pumphandle Michinoku Driver (5:52).  (Kevin Lee Davidson d. Chip Day.)
-"The Bull City Boss" Cornell Douglass d. Skyler Beckett after a heart punch (2:29).  (Murder One d. Everett Connors.)  After the match, Buddy Shepherd made a grand entrance and offered to "save" Beckett; the two left together.
-Maverick & The Blood Brothers(Davey Gibson & Matthew Grundy) d. "The Mile-High Magnum" Dak Draper & The Royal Blood(Jet & Jax Royal).  Gibson blocked a top-rope Frankensteiner attempt by Jax and Grundy dropkicked Jax as Gibson held him upside-down; Gibson then superbombed Jax for the three-count to even the score against NWL Kansas City (16:09).  (Moonshine Mantell, Davey Vega, & Mat Fitchett d. Sammy Six Guns, Logan Riegel, & Sterling Riegel.)
