FCW TV

Last week: General Manager Maxine Perez didn't want Husky Harris in the building...but that plan didn't work out too well.

Your hosts are Chris Russo & Byron Saxton, your ring announcer is some dude I don't recognize.

We kick off the show with Maxine, accompanied by Norman Smiley. The ring is surrounded by wrestlers...she announces that Husky and Richie Steamboat have both been suspended for thirty days. She hypes the night's lineup and warns everyone about the consequences if they defy her orders like Husky and Richie did...

Titus O'Neil, Percy Watson, & C.J. Parker vs. Derrick Bateman, Rick Victor, & Corey Graves: Interesting trio on the heel side...of course, O'Neil and Bateman have issues stemming from NXT5. Victor and Graves are each still looking for a significant win on FCW TV, though Victor had a good showing against Seth Rollins in an FCW 15 Title match. Meanwhile, Byron wishes Parker would shave his head to mirror his partners. Victor kicks out of an O'Connor Roll by Percy after Bateman whiffs on the save, then Graves low-bridges Watson out of the ring from there. The heel trio takes over as Russo refers to Graves as a wannabe "rock star"...perhaps a future partnership with Heath Slater is in the works? Percy takes out Graves with an overhead suplex and makes the hot tag to Titus...the doghouse is on fire! Percy assists in the housecleaning and O'Neil drops Graves with the Clash Of The Titus, then tags in Parker for a Rocket Launcher to get the three-count.

Abraham Washington(w/ Sofia Cortez) is sporting the evil goatee, uh-oh. He was cheated out of his Heavyweight Title shot against Leo Kruger and vows to do whatever it takes to achieve victory in the future...

Xavier Woods vs. Colin Cassady: Xavier enlightens us before the match, but he's got a literal tall order ahead of him. Cassady dominates with his size and power advantage but Xavier comes back after a missed legdrop. Woods delivers a jumping enzuigiri and his new finisher(sliding Flatliner with opponent on his knees) that Russo calls "Lost In The Woods"...that's the ballgame.

Dean Ambrose enlightens us...he throws out challenges like crazy, including some harsh words for S. William Regal.

Aksana Raudoniene vs. Raquel Diaz for the Queen Of FCW's Crown: The queen's crown has been under the radar since being temporarily unified with the Women's Title...but Aksana lost the title to Audrey Marie not too long ago. Raquel does not have the Ascension members in her corner...so I guess that makes her the face for tonight? Honestly, I think this is Raquel's first singles match on FCW TV...I only recall her being in a six-woman tag previously. Raquel gets an early rollup and O'Connor Roll for early two-counts...but Aksana trips her from the floor and ties up her leg in the ring apron to take the advantage. Aksana looks decent on offense but Diaz makes the comeback only to get caught in a backslide...for two. Slam is countered into a modified small package...for two, but Raquel rolls through into...the Three Amigos! Cover...gets two. Undaunted, Raquel picks up Aksana in the Gory Bomb(!) and hits it to win the crown!

Leo Kruger vs. Seth Rollins for the Heavyweight Title: Seth's run as FCW 15 Champion is well-documented but this is for the biggest prize in the promotion. Staredown to start, then a feeling-out process...Byron's been dusting off the old "champion doesn't have to beat the challenger, challenger has to beat the champion" adage. Byron: "How many championships have you held?" Russo: "How many have YOU held?" Byron: "This isn't about me." Ha! Seth tries to build momentum but Leo ducks out of the ring to slow the pace...then sweeps Rollins' leg as he steps through the ropes, causing him to land badly on the ring apron. CRAVATE~! Saxton notes that Kruger is focusing on the neck to set up the sleeperhold...PSYCHOLOGY~! Seth gets off an enzuigiri for a sudden near-fall, then misses the advanced curbstomp only to clothesline Leo to the floor. Suicide dive...no, Kruger forearms him in the face to stop him!

Kruger maintains control with a modified surfboard...Seth tries to fight back but it's not enough to halt the champ's momentum. Byron makes the analogy of a star college athlete struggling in the major leagues...sounds like the sort of thing Voldemort would say, only slightly more diplomatic. Rollins gets another rally but a Stinger Splash hits only turnbuckles and Kruger gets a near-fall. Leo deviates from the gameplan by going to the top rope and Seth cuts him off...Leo fights from the ropes, but Rollins stuns him with a jumping enzuigiri before finally hitting the superplex! Cover...gets two. Turnbuckle powerbomb is blocked and Kruger rolls out to regroup...he tries to walk out on the match but Seth goes out to get him! Seth avoids the apron legsweep this time as the fight travels outside the ring...Seth appears to have control but Leo reverses a whip into the steps. Seth BARELY beats the ten-count back into the ring after that. Kruger tries to pummel Seth in the corner...bad move as that puts him in position for Rollins to hit the turnbuckle powerbomb! Avada Kedavra is ducks and Leo AGAIN rolls out of the ring. Antonio Cesaro suddenly appears but Seth cuts off his attack, then ducks an attempted BELT shot by Kruger...O'Connor Roll gets two but the kickout sends Seth right into a European uppercut from the floor by Cesaro! The referee didn't see the interference and Kruger takes advantage by locking on the sleeperhold for the victory!

So long from the Sunshine State!
