ROH + SICW

ROH TV

-Commentators:  Kevin Kelly & Steve Corino.
-Roderick Strong d. Mark Briscoe with the Falcon Arrow backbreaker (7:24 aired).
-Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness announced that the Hanson-Elgin main event would determine the number-one contender for Jay Briscoe's Heavyweight Title.  He brought out Tommaso Ciampa...he said there was a zero-tolerance policy regarding Ciampa striking referees, but it was an accident when Ciampa hit an official at Final Battle.  Nigel said he put his neck on the line to defend Ciampa to ROH higher-ups, so Ciampa wouldn't be fired but he felt like Ciampa owed him one.  Ciampa wanted a title shot, but Elgin came out to dispute his claim...Tommaso said that no one wants Elgin in the locker room and Elgin responded that he and Nigel are former ROH Heavyweight Champions and Ciampa is not.  Elgin asked Nigel to make the main event a triple threat match with Ciampa added...Nigel made it so.
-Top Prospect Tournament brackets:  Will Ferrara vs. J. Diesel, Mikey Webb vs. "Beer City Bruiser" Matt Winchester, Donovan Dijak vs. Jake Dirden, Ashley Sixx vs. Dalton Castle.
-Top Prospect Tournament:  Will Ferrara d. J. Diesel(w/ Truth Martini) via victory roll (5:42); Caprice Coleman did commentary.  Diesel attacked Ferrara after the match.
-"Warbeard" Todd Hanson vs. "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin vs. "The Sicilian Psychopath" Tommaso Ciampa ended in a no-contest.  Tommaso hit Hanson with Project Ciampa(powerbomb onto the knees) but Elgin pulled the referee out of the ring before the three-count.  Ciampa confronted Elgin and the ref outside the ring and Hanson followed up with a suicide dive that took out all three men.  A second referee came out to officially throw out the match. (11:57 aired).
-Next week:  Jay Briscoe defends the Heavyweight Title against a member of The Kingdom, plus Alberto El Patrón makes his first appearance on ROH TV.

SICW Wrestling Explosion

-Commentators:  Herb Simmons & Drew Abbenhaus.
-"Ironman" Ken Kasa & Bull Bronson(w/ Travis Cook) d. "The Man Of Tomorrow" Daniel Eads & Shiloh Jonze; Kasa pinned Jonze after he and Bronson hit Jonze with the Hart Attack.  During the match, Herb mentioned the possibility of SICW starting up Tag Team Titles in the near future.
-Herb interviewed Ron Powers about his official return to action against Bull Bronson on January 17th.
-Flash Flanagan d. "The Old School Warrior" Chaz Wesson to retain the Classic Title by rolling through a blind cross-bodyblock off the top rope and holding the tights.
