Saturday STL-Area Show Results

Saturday DPW results from Glen Carbon, IL (credit to Chris Roedel):

-Ring announcers:  Chris Roedel & Luke Roberts.  Referees:  Richard White & Scott Ramsey.
-The Snitch(w/ Sophie Darling) d. C.J. Shine after Snitch distracted the referee and Sophie delivered a low blow to Shine behind the official's back, allowing Snitch to get the three-count (9:20).
-Straps Down University("The Valedictorian" Keon Option & Justin D'Air) d. The Professionals(Shawn Santel & Mauler McDarby) when D'Air pinned McDarby with a small package (9:35).  Afterwards, The Professionals attacked D'Air's previously-injured knee with the shillelagh.
-Jayden Fenix d. "The King Of Chaos" Ricky Cruz by DQ when the referee caught Cruz with brass knuckles that Fenix had brought into play and Fenix feigned having been hit by the foreign object (11:14).
-Angelus Layne d. Angelina Love via rollup w/ tights (6:11).
-Makaze & The Bite Club(Rocket Mapache & Jackal) d. The Midnight Society(Billy McNeil & Jayson Khaos) & Ric Maverick(w/ C.J. McManus); Rocket pinned Maverick after Jackal's frog splash (9:44).
-Outtkast d. "The Filipino Warrior" Elvis Aliaga after the Lost Cause(fireman's-carry spinebuster) to retain the D-1 Title (9:57).
-Straps Down University("The Valedictorian" Keon Option & Justin D'Air) d. High Level Enterprise(Jack Gamble & Jon Webb) to win the Tag Team Titles when Option pinned Webb (12:34).
-Mike Outlaw won a triple threat match with Brandon Aarons and "Dirdey" Jake Dirden to retain the Heavyweight Title; Dirden demanded to be inserted into the scheduled Outlaw-Aarons match.  Dirden chokeslammed Outlaw through a table at one point, putting him out of the match for a while.  Outlaw scored the pin on Dirden after Aarons superkicked a chair into Dirden's face (15:38).

Saturday SICW results from East Carondelet, IL (credit to Drew Abbenhaus):

-Moondog Rover d. Purple Passion by countering a flying move off the second rope with a powerslam (6:10).
-"The Suplex Cyclone" Curt Gannon fought Superstar Steve Fender to a no-contest when the two brawled and pushed the referee (7:47).
-"Night Train/Gorgeous/Great One" Gary Jackson & Big Jim Hoffarth d. "Dead Sexy" Daniel Gunner & Waco(w/ Big Daddy); Gunner was a last-minute replacement for Brandon Espinosa(who felt the match was beneath him) and he didn't get along with his partner.  Waco took a walk after Gunner accidentally hit him, leading to Jackson rolling up Gunner for the pin (7:57).
-Cowboy Marc Houston d. Johnny Blade after a lariat (6:55).
-"Volatile" Curtis Wylde & "Unstable" Dave Vaughn(w/ Wyldefyre) d. Bodily Harm("The Enforcer" Jimmy D & Bobby D) when Wylde pinned Jimmy D after their version of Total Elimination(spinning heel kick by Wylde/legsweep by Vaughn combination) (10:00).
-"The Yoga Monster" Mike Sydal d. Keita Yano via inverted STF (7:45).
-Vic The Bruiser(w/ Big Daddy) d. "Your Canadian Hero" Sean Vincent after hitting Vincent with Big Daddy's cane behind the referee's back, then finishing with a Baldo Bomb (5:20).-Ron Powers d. "Ironman" Ken Kasa to retain the Classic Title; the match initially ended in a double countout but the match was restarted.  The referee was accidentally knocked down during a slam attempt by Powers and Kasa took Powers down in the Tazmission, but there was no referee to check on the champion.  Kasa thought about using his metal face mask to gain an illegal advantage, but Powers small-packaged Kasa for the three-count (10:02).
