Saturday SLA Results From Granite City, IL + Other Show Results

-Anakin Murphy d. Solomon Tupu by escaping a Samoan Drop attempt and getting the rollup pin (4:49).

-"The Southern Flamingo" Kody Lane d. "The Real McCoy" J.D.X. after the double-underhook piledriver (6:22).

-The Premier("The Quadfatha" Camaro Jackson, "The Soup" Campbell Myers, & "Dat Boi" S.K. Bishop)(w/ Matt Kenway) d. Christian Rose & Corn Beef(Steve "1 Called" Manders & "Big Beef" Gnarls Garvin); Greg Jovi distracted Rose, leading to Jackson pinning Rose after the Premier hit a triple-team spike powerbomb (6:36).

-"Warhorse" Jake Parnell d. "The River City Cryptkeeper" Kevin Lee Davidson via Scorpion Deathlock (Of Death) (10:15).

-"Second To None" Kenny Alfonso d. "The Black Diamond" Ace Perry after a frog splash (6:52).

-Tammy Jovi Memorial Tournament:  "Space Jesus" Billie Starkz won a four-way dance with "Li'l Hollywood Hills" Everett Connors, "Hoss Funk" Thomas Shire, and Greg Jovi(substiting for the injured "Moonshine" Ryan Mantell) to win the tournament.  Jovi attempted to recruit Deacon "Main Card" Cash to fill the spot but Cash refused in short order.  Christian Rose stopped Jovi from running away, leading to Jovi being triple-teamed and pinned by Shire after a European uppercut (0:59).  Shire impressively delivered a spinning torture-rack drop on both opponents at once, but Billie surprised Shire by countering a powerbomb attempt into a rana pin to eliminate him (6:15).  Connors nearly won it with Sliced Bead #2, but Billie countered his pin attempt into a victory roll for the final three-count (8:09).

-"The Dad Bod" Sean Orleans got into a war of words with Evan Gelistico over Gelistico backstabbing Orleans the previous month, leading to "Lights Out" Adrian Surge" and Nick King assisting Gelistico and holding back Orleans while Gelistico bad-mouthed him.

-Victor Analog d. Alice Crowley after a basement flying knee strike (5:35).

-"The Real Deal" Derek Neal d. "The Midwest Bully" Craig Mitchell via fisherman buster (7:58).

-"Dirdey" Jake Dirden(w/ Greg Jovi) d. "The Mile-High Magnum" Dak Draper after the spear (with Jovi knocking Draper's foot off the bottom rope during the pin) (9:08).

-"The Baddest Man Alive" Aaron Williams d. "True Till Death" Kevin Ku by countering a half-crab with a victory roll pin (9:09).

-"The Stiff Robo Ginger" Gary Jay d. "The Monarch" Jeremy Wyatt in a street fight to win the Gateway Heritage Title, ending Wyatt's 37-month reign as champion.  Chairs and powder were used during the bout and Wyatt threw the referee out of the ring at one point, requiring a second official to take over.  Wyatt brought in thumbtacks, but Gary dropped him on the tacks with a Michinoku Driver for a close near-fall.  Gary didn't let up, smashing Wyatt with two rolling elbows before finally scoring the three-count (19:05).

-The Black Throne(Malakai Black & Brody King) d. The Workhorsemen(Anthony Henry & James D. Drake) to retain the Tag Team Titles.

-Bandido d. Alex Shelley to retain the Heavyweight Title.
