Sunday CHWA Results From Cottage Hills, IL

-Ring announcer:  Dilly.  Referees:  Jeremy Smith & Steven Hopple.
-Heavyweight Champion Drew Karter started the show with his arm in a sling, claiming he wasn't cleared to compete for his scheduled non-title death match with former stablemate Angelo Grimsley.  The Godfather made his return from "vacation" and announced that he would give the champ a break this time...but the match would happen at next Sunday's show and Grimsley would still earn a title shot at the following week's show if he wins.  (The New Foundation stable turned on Grimsley and Esaw Craine(now known as Mazoku) earlier in the year.)
-Sid Manson & Dean Roberts d. Skittles & Fuego Del Plata(w/ Nasty Juan Sanchez); Sid pinned Skittles after he and Dean hit a Flapjack/DDT combo (5:14).  Manson & Roberts issued a challenge to the Post-Humans("Parasyte" Tyler Blake & Mazoku), leading to the duo surprising them from behind and running them out of the ring.
-Chameleon d. Logan Simmons after International Champion Alister Crow attempted to interfere, only for Chameleon to run Simmons into him and get the rollup pin (6:32).  After the match, Doug E. Best issued a seemingly friendly challenge to Simmons and the two shook hands, only for Best to kick Simmons in the groin.
-"The Tomahawk Star" Tommy Davis came out to talk about being screwed over in previous qualifying matches for the Rungs Of Glory Ladder Match in two weeks.  He said he would be willing to make a "deal with the devil" for one more opportunity to qualify, which led to General Manager Victoria promising him a qualifying match on next week's show against an unknown opponent.  The catch:  He had to put his MMWA Jr. Heavyweight Title on the line.
-The Buff & The Brave("The Monarch" Madi Exodus & "Simply Rebellious" Ashlyn Alexander) d. Kenneth Collins & Shawn Valiant to retain the Tag Team Titles when Madi pinned Valiant after Ashlyn dropped her onto Valiant with a gourdbuster (9:13).  The Bayou Boys(Cousin Waylon Phoenix & Bo Dickerson) watched the match from ringside.
-"The Native Nightmare" Jeremy Lightfoot d. Voodoo King via Michinoku Driver (7:15).  Doc Lombardi attempted to distract Lightfoot with a lighter but it wasn't enough to turn the tide.  U.S. Champion Harlock Cross heckled Lightfoot from the audience.
-John Boi addressed the fans about his recent health scare and said that the main two people who supported him were "The Midwest Bad Boy" P.T. Beckham and Damien Blackwell.  Beckham joined his friend in the ring, but the trio of Kenneth Collins, Shawn Valiant, and Rick Cena(fka Radical Rick) attacked the duo until Damien(w/ Halo) made the save to even the odds.
-Damien Blackwell(w/ Halo) d. Rick Cena(w/ Johnson Van Johnson III); there was some confusion in the match as the referee initially called for a DQ after Blackwell choked Cena past the five-count, but the match was restarted and Blackwell got the rollup pin (4:13).
-The Bayou Boys(Cousin Waylon Phoenix & Bo Dickerson)(w/ unidentified cornerman) d. The Dragon's Guild("The Shoeserweight" Chris Exodus & "The One-Man Zoo" L-Ride) when Bo rolled up Exodus with feet on the ropes (9:50).  The Bayou Boys called out The Buff & The Brave afterwards and the champs hit the ring to fight them off.
-Alister Crow(C) vs. Angelo Grimsley vs. Mazoku(w/ "Parasyte" Tyler Blake) for the International Title ended in a no-contest when Sid Manson & Dean Roberts attacked The Post-Humans and Heavyweight Champion Drew Karter attacked Grimsley (15:46).
