Sunday Glory Pro Results From St. Louis, MO(Pageant)

-Ring announcer:  Ben Simon.  Referees:  Alex Strahan, H.D. Daniels, & Adam Kennedy.
-Devin & Steve O'Neal d. Frodo "The Ghost" Meyer & "The Munch" Marcus Muncherson when Devin pinned Frodo after a swinging DDT (3:20).
-"The Concrete Rose" Sonny Kiss d. Allie Katch by countering a piledriver attempt with a takedown into a jackknife cradle (8:59).
-"Can't Miss" Xavier Walker won a four-corner match with "The Little Blue Dragon" Tootie Lynn Ramsey, A.T.M., and "The Too Turn't Wild Unicorn" Laynie Luck when he pinned Laynie after a knockout punch (6:05).
-Impact Heavyweight Champion "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander d. "Second To None" Kenny Alfonso(non-title) via C-4 Spike(double-underhook piledriver) (15:45).
-"Azucar" Rocky Romero d. "His Mom Calls Him Son Cuz He Shines Like One" Rohit Raju(w/ "Can't Miss" Xavier Walker) with a rollup after Walker accidentally hit Rohit on the ring apron (15:53).
-Jake Something & "The Big Strong Boy" Ethan Price d. United Glory Tag Team Champions Grindhouse("Spitfire" Davey Vega & "Death Wish" Anakin Murphy)(w/ Tony Patrico & "The Gunslinger" Mat Fitchett) by DQ when Fitchett interfered (1:09); Grindhouse retained the titles.  Something refused to accept that finish and challenged the champs to a restart with no disqualifications.
-Grindhouse("Spitfire" Davey Vega & "Death Wish" Anakin Murphy)(w/ Tony Patrico & "The Gunslinger" Mat Fitchett) d. Jake Something & "The Big Strong Boy" Ethan Price in a no-DQ match to retain the United Glory Tag Team Titles; the Grindhouse group drew Something up to the entrance stage and triple-superkicked him off the stage to send him falling through a table.  That left Price on his own and Vega got the pin after he and Anakin hit a brainbuster onto the knee/head kick combo (11:20).  After the match, Something turned on Price and chokeslammed him through a table.
-Rahim De La Suede(w/ Cinco) d. Moses "The Deliverer" Powell via rollup with feet on the ropes (13:54).
-Donovan Danhausen d. "The Southern Flamingo" Kody Lane with the Octopushausen (9:26).
-"Warhorse" Jake Parnell & Dan "The Dad" Adams d. "Rebourne" Matt Sydal & Delirious when Warhorse pinned Delirious after the top-rope elbowdrop (14:30).  (Delirious did throw my hat before the match.)
-"The Quadfatha" Camaro Jackson d. Mike Outlaw(w/ Cinco & Rahim De La Suede) to win the Crown Of Glory Title.  Camaro nearly won with the lariat but Rahim pulled the referee out of the ring before the three-count.  The official ejected Cinco & Rahim from ringside and that brought out Moses & Tootie Lynn to fight with the duo.  As the referee was occupied with the chaos outside the ring, Outlaw was able to hit Camaro in the leg with a chair and nearly won with a half-crab, but Camaro barely made it to the ropes.  As the match continued, Outlaw delivered a mule kick out of the corner that hit both his challenger and the referee, giving him the opening to level Camaro with his title belt...but he only got a two-count.  Outlaw delivered the High Noon(top-rope elbowdrop), but Camaro kicked out at one with a surge of adrenaline!  Camaro made the comeback and leveled Outlaw with the lariat, then waited for him to get back to his feet for one more lariat to finally seal the deal (21:27)!  Camaro offered his hand to the fallen former champion and Outlaw grabbed the belt away from him, but humbly handed it back to the new titleholder and offered a fistbump before leaving the Quadfatha to celebrate his victory!
-Notes:  Official Ben Simon Concession Count(tm):  3 Pepsis.  So much for cutting back on soda.  Had a chance to chat with the recently-retired Ryan Ash during intermission, and I also got to meet and talk a bit with Rocky Romero.  It was a fun weekend with three shows in as many evenings...I'm getting a bit old to be on my feet that much, but I had a great time and had a chance to touch base with several long-time acquaintances.  That makes 52 shows for the year...I doubt I'll hit my personal high of 80 shows again, but it's been a busy year!
