-As the show started, "The Drifter" Elias Samson was found laid out from a car accident.  A liquor bottle was found in the rental car along with registration for Jeff Hardy...then Hardy was found in a seemingly inebriated state and was taken into custody by the police.  In a backstage segment, it was confirmed that Elias and Hardy were both out of the Intercontinental Title tournament; "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles took his free ride to the finals, but Daniel Bryan wanted competition...so a battle royal was set up to determine his replacement opponent in the semifinals.
-Sheamus O'Shaunessy won a battle royal.  Eliminations:  Lince Dorado by King Baron Corbin, Drew Gulak by Corbin, Gran Metalik by Corbin, Dolph Ziggler by Corbin, Corbin by Jey Uso, Antonio Cesaro by Chad Gable, Shinsuke Nakamura by Gable, Gable illegally by Cesaro(who ran back in after his elimination), and Jey by Sheamus (11:16 aired).
-"The Sassy Southern Belle" Lacey Evans fought Sonya Deville to a double countout (4:18).
-"The Boss" Sasha Banks(w/ Smackdown Women's Champion Bayley Rose) d. Women's Tag Team Champion "The Goddess" Alexa Bliss(w/ Nikki Cross); Bayley & Nikki left commentary to fight, leading to Alexa being accidentally knocked off the top rope.  Sasha capitalized to win with a slingshot bodyscissors into a sunset flip (6:31).
-Chad Gable d. Antonio Cesaro(w/ Shinsuke Nakamura) via sunset flip (4:05).
-Coming to Smackdown:  "The Original Bro" Matt Riddle.
-Intercontinental Title Tournament:  Daniel Bryan d. Sheamus O'Shaunessy with the flying knee strike after a distraction by the returning Jeff Hardy (9:45 aired).
