Location: Mandy's East State Bar (O'Fallon, IL)
Emcee: Roman Ramos
After: Roman Ramos
Before: Steve Froyler
Comedy shows in the Metro East are always a plus in my book, so I checked out this show on Thursday night; it fits into my schedule pretty nicely, all things considered. I heard the first show at this venue had a good audience turnout and the second show did as well, so that was good sign; hopefully they can keep drawing well. I went up first after the emcee and had a really good performance, setting a good tone for the evening. I need to make a point to get more stage time in the near future...though that depends on how my budget is looking.

Comedy Part 832: Attendance Appreciated
Location: Westport Funny Bone
Emcee: Ronaldo Mercado
After: Jeff Stephenson
Before: Spencer Whipple
My therapy appointments have been moved to Thursday nights, so I am able to make it to the Funny Bone every Tuesday nowadays. My cause this week was also helped by having two friends in attendance, so I made the list. I can only hope that I catch the attention of the right people so I get booked for future shows; as a result, I'm doing my best to work out different material instead of running the same four minutes into the ground (as I've been guilty of doing in the past). I know I have enough material to feature at a club, so that's my next goal in comedy...hopefully it can happen soon.
