Darren Young interrupted Matt Striker's opening spiel and eventually attacked him, bringing S. William Regal out of the broadcast booth to run him off.
Oh, your hosts are Todd Grisham and Regal.
Trent Baretta vs. Tyson Kidd: One of these guys might just win a match! YAY WRESTLING~! We're still in Canada so the crowd is decidedly pro-Kidd. Kidd misses an inside-out slingshot legdrop and Trent delivers a corkscrew Asai moonsault to the floor that doesn't leave either guy in good shape. Kidd fights out of a superplex to deliver a top-rope Frankensteiner...but Baretta rolls through into a sunset flip attempt only for Kidd to roll through THAT into a Sharpshooter attempt. Baretta counters THAT into a victory roll for a close two-count. Mutual clotheslines leave both men down and give us a chance to catch our collective breath. Strike exchange ends in a Gobstopper Knee...for two. Dudebuster DDT is blocked and Kidd gets the Canadian Mapleleaf but Trent barely makes it to the ropes. Suddenly the MYSTERIOUS~! Japanese music starts and the kanji appears on the Titantron...the distraction is enough for Baretta to recover and hit the Dudebuster DDT for the upset win!
A.J. Lee(w/ Hornswoggle) vs. Maxine Perez(w/ Derrick Bateman): Regal brings up the fact that Grisham is taking his leave from WWE to join ESPN...good luck to him, he can hang out with Jonathan Coachman. Maxine keeps it simple with general heel tactics, which is probably for the best. A.J. gains some momentum and Bateman goes after Hornswoggle as a distraction, allowing Maxine to get the cheap rollup pin. Titus O'Neil hits the ring just in the nick of too late...
