Went to the Grove Deli on Saturday night just to watch the show...realized I hadn't been to the new No Name Comix establishment and decided to check out their open-mic show on Sunday. It's a good thing I did since they're moving the open-mic shows to Thursdays in the near future. I didn't exactly have new material...I tried one premise that would need a LOT more writing before it could be worthwhile. Would need to get more motivated to write before I would feel comfortable with going to open-mics on a regular basis again.
