WWE NXT
Commentators: Tony Dawson, S. William Regal, & Jim Ross(for the main event). Ring announcer: Byron Saxton.
Adrian Neville vs. Adeshi Sakamoto: Haven't seen Sakamoto in quite a while as he's no longer in Lord Tensai's corner. Neville enters NXT with a lot of hype from the independent scene where he was known as PAC. FLIPPIES~! Sakamoto's trainer TAKA Michinoku is mentioned...miss that guy. Neville stuns Sakamoto with an enzuigiri and finishes in grand fashion with a corkscrew shooting star press! Very impressive and deserving of the multiple replays of the finish...hadn't seen PAC before this and he looked good.
Trent Barreta vs. Leo Kruger: Kruger's recent ally Kassius Ohno joins the broadcast team...he wastes no time in needling Regal. For his part, Leo wastes no time in targeting Trent's achy-breaky ribs. Barreta fights through the pain and rallies with a missile dropkick, but Kruger blocks the Dudebuster DDT and hooks a half-crab with his knee planted in Trent's ribcage...PSYCHOLOGY~! Barreta reaches the ropes and then hits an enzuigiri that sends Leo tumbling out of the ring. Trent follows up with a huge somersault plancha and that's enough motivation for Ohno to leave his seat. Barreta throws Kruger back into the ring, but the ref's attention is on Leo when Ohno hits Trent with a roaring elbow outside the ring. Ohno sends Trent back into the ring and Leo hits the Kruger's End for the three-count...but now REGAL leaves his seat and a second ref arrives to tell the original official what happened. The decision is reversed and Barreta is announced as the winner by DQ...fare thee well, Dudebuster.
The champ is here...CHALK UP~! New NXT Champion Big E Langston is ready for his victory promo but Donny Camacho reminds him that he's got an old feud to settle...
NXT Champion Big E Langston vs. Donny Camacho, non-title: It's unclear whether this is a title match but I assume it isn't...Camacho goes on the attack but Big E turns the tide in a hurry. Vader Smash, Big Ending, three-count. Of course that isn't quite enough for Langston...he delivers another Big Ending and then makes his own five-count. How about another Big Ending and another five-count? Sure, why not.
Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel vs. U.S. Champion Antonio Cesaro & Damien Sandow: Sandow enlightens the unwashes masses beforehand. Gabriel got a non-title win over Cesaro not too long ago so there's SOME history...been liking Kidd & Gabriel as a tag team. YAY WRESTLING~! The face duo has the advantage in team experience, but the heels have their share of tag experience with different partners(Sandow with Cody Rhodes, Cesaro with Kassius Ohno in an alternate universe). Gabriel takes a beating for a while but Kidd finally gets the hot tag and cleans house! Chaos breaks loose and Kidd tags Gabriel before taking out Cesaro with a plancha. Gabriel STOs Sandow, tags Kidd, then nails the springboard moonsault before Kidd follows with the springboard elbowdrop for the victory!
