NXT + Impact

WWE NXT

Commentators:  Tom Phillips & S. William Regal.  Ring announcer:  Byron Saxton.

Yoshi Tatsu vs. Bray Wyatt(w/ Luke Harper & Erick Rowan):  This is Wyatt's official return to the ring after a long injury layoff.  Bray drops Yoshi with a uranagi and follows up with the HUNDRED HAND SLAP~! and avalanche.  Rapture ends it in short order...guess squash is in season.  Wyatt orders his family into the ring for some verbal abuse over last week's loss...he orders Rowan to slap Harper, then tells Harper to return the favor and even encourages them to brawl for a moment before settling them down.

Backstage, Renee Young interviews Sasha Banks about her secret admirer...she gets one more letter, but it's a fakeout as Audrey Marie attacks her from behind.

Xavier Woods vs. El Local:  Hadn't seen either of these guys too much lately.  Local does better than expected as Regal agonizes over the inexperience of his recent broadcast colleagues.  Woods gets the win after a tornado DDT...nicely done.

Backstage, Renee Young interviews a doctor about Paige's shoulder injury from last week.

Sasha Banks vs. Audrey Marie:  Wow, two feuds at one time in the NXT women's division.  Sasha is all business from the opening bell but Audrey cuts her off in a hurry.  Sasha counters a side backbreaker into a flying headscissors and makes a comeback, but falls victim to a wheelbarrow faceplant(called the Photo Finish by Phillips) and Audrey gets the win.

Backstage, Renee interviews Summer Rae...she's more concerned about her broken nail than Paige's injured shoulder.  She dubs herself the First Lady Of NXT...okay then.

Tony Dawson interviews the injured Tyson Kidd...he was wrestling at a house show and messed up his knee, then aggravated the injury by wrestling again the following night.  Dawson brings up C.M. Punk's recent compliment on WWE TV(calling him an underappreciated workhorse), but Leo Kruger interrupts and vows to end the career of the "wounded animal".  Kruger swats away Kidd's crutches, but Justin Gabriel(Kidd's tag partner and Leo's long-time rival) arrives to run him off.

NXT Champion Big E Langston vs. Conor O'Brian, non-title:  Guess the memo about referring to this brand of contest as "title-free" hasn't reached NXT yet.  CHALK UP~!  The early power battle seems to be a stalemate...at least until Big E gets the better of a brawling exchange and clotheslines O'Brian to the floor.  Conor takes control after a blind charge hits ringpost...this is the first time Langston has been in real trouble in a while.  O'Brian hits a full nelson slam for two, but Big E fights back as the match turns into a slugfest.  The referee takes his life into his hands by getting between the two powerhouses and he gets thrown down in the chaos, leading to a double DQ...bah.  Big E clotheslines O'Brian out of the ring again and stands tall...but Corey Graves hits him from behind out of nowhere and runs off with the belt!  Langston gives chase as we fade out...
