Champion Bobby Moore ran in to beat down the champs, then Geter & The Urban Assault Squad(Shadow Jackson & Nemesis) hit the ring to clean house on the Cash Vault. It looked like they were on the same page as The Movement, but Geter and the UAS turned their attention to the champs and laid them both out with double torture rack drops. (The Movement DID beat the UAS for the Tag Titles, see...) Geter splashed both men and Nemesis named the trio "Unforgivable Blackness".
-Billy Buck d. T.V. Champion Bobby Moore(w/ Charlie Cash) by DQ when Suave & Penirelli attacked Buck after he hit Moore with the Buck Wild superkick. Moore retained the title due to the disqualification; Azrael & Slim J saved Buck from the post-match assault and they cleared the ring, ending with Moore taking a second superkick from Buck.
-Jeremy Vain d. Shaun Tempers(w/ Jeff G. Bailey) to win the Heavyweight Title. Bailey called Se7en and Jagged Edge out to the ring, but several other roster members arrived to prevent the interference. Vain fought out of a Rude Awakening attempt and hit the VDT for the win and the belt.

-Matt Taven(w/ Truth Martini & Hoopla Hotties) won a triple threat match with Jimmy Jacobs and Jay Lethal to retain the T.V. Title. Jacobs jumped backwards off the second rope into a flying Cutter on Lethal, but Truth held Jacobs' foot as Taven stole the pin on Lethal.
-reDRagon(Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish) won a triple threat match with Rhett Titus & Cliff Compton and The C&C Wrestle Factory(Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander) to retain the Tag Team Titles; Alexander hit O'Reilly with a brainbuster, but Fish knocked out Alexander with a buzzsaw kick to the head and put Kyle on top for the three-count.

Powers pulled Danny Boy in the way of Cruz's superkick, then delivered a low blow and piledriver before making the pin cover. Danny Boy recovered and called for the bell, disqualifying Powers for manhandling an official. Afterwards, Travis Cook & Ken Kasa made an appearance and Cook demanded that Kasa's guaranteed title shot take place right then and there. Cruz was bloody and hurt but accepted the impromptu challenge...
-Ken Kasa(w/ Travis Cook) d. Ricky Cruz to win the Classic Title. Cruz fought off Kasa's initial assault and got his hands on Cook, dishing out a beating on the manager. However, Kasa was able to hit the John Wu Dropkick for a close near-fall. Friday SLA Results From Alton, IL + Other Show Results
-The show started off fast as K.C. Karrington walked in the front door and called out Davey Vega for their unsanctioned fight. The two brawled all over the building and used several weapons provided by the fans...Vega finally laid out Karrington with a brainbuster onto the knee and the referees stopped it.
-Adam Raw d. Jordan Lacey. Brandon Espinosa shoved Lacey off the top rope; Raw didn't see the interference but finished off Lacey with an F-U through a table.
-Bolt Brady d. Brandon Espinosa to retain the ACW U-30 Title. Lacey distracted Espinosa and Brady took advantage with a backcracker for the win.
-ACW Tag Team Champion Thomas Shire(w/ Jojo Bravo) d. Darren Dean(w/ Aaron Solo) with a powerbomb and feet on the ropes.
-Injured Heavyweight Champion Darin Corbin addressed the fans but was interrupted by Gerald James(w/ Dorian Victor & Gerald's Mom). Dorian said that Khris Wolfe wasn't in the house so Gerald had no opponent for the night...but Adam Raw came out to answer the challenge for the 10,000 Thumbtacks Match.

NXT + Impact (Plus SLA Update)
Couple of quick notes on St. Louis Anarchy this weekend: There were a few cancellations due to schedule conflicts(T.J. Perkins, Jonathan Gresham) and injury(Tadarius Thomas). A.C.H. was originally scheduled to face Perkins but will now take on Davey Vega(who's already booked in an unsanctioned street fight with K.C. Karrington). Arik Cannon was going to face Gresham while Tadarius Thomas was scheduled against Jojo Bravo; now it'll be Cannon-Bravo in a rematch from the previous show. See ya tomorrow night!

Big E Langston vs. Aiden English(w/o entrance): CHALK UP~! As for the match itself...HAHAHAHAHA no. Backdrop, Vader Smash(unofficially dubbed the "E Train"), Big Ending, and three. Of course that's two fewer counts than Langston wants, so we get another Big Ending and a five-count. Big E turns to leave but the fans want more...sure, why not? Big Ending number three is delivered, another five-count is made. Langston finally leaves before the referee remembers the whole decision-reversal option...
Backstage, Renee Young interviews Emma Tayla...but she's more interested in goofing around with a bubble-shooting gun. She thinks she's gonna win...that's pretty straightforward.
Emma Tayla vs. Aksana Raudoniene, Women's Title Tournament: Our brackets appear to be set, so the winner will face Summer Rae in the semifinals. (The other semifinal is Paige Knight vs. Alicia Fox, for those keeping score.) Aksana held the Women's Title in FCW as well as the Queen's crown, but she has yet to win any gold in WWE. Aksana attacks right away with a yank of the hair and dominates most of the action, but she can't keep Emma down for the count. Aksana wastes too much time posing and earns a kick to the rear for it, then Emma double-legs Aksana to the mat and turns her over into the DilEmma(inverted STF) out of nowhere! Aksana has nowhere to go and finally taps out...Emma advances in the tournament and dances with some young fans afterwards.
Dante Dash(w/o entrance but w/ theme music) vs. Leo Kruger: Regal says that Kruger went back to South Africa to take care of some "business"...okay then. Dante doesn't fare too much better than Aiden English...Leo targets the arm with a hammerlock suplex, then nails the LARIATOOOOO~! Kruger gets the tapout win via GC-3(London Dungeon), then decides to lurk at ringside for our next bout...
Conor O'Brian refers to The Ascension and says "we" will rise...guess he's got a new tag team partner.
NXT Champion Bo Dallas vs. Mickey(fka Axl) Keegan(w/o entrance but w/ theme music), non-title: Bo briefly spots old rival Kruger on the way to the ring...okay then. Keegan is noted as a Killer Kowalski trainee, putting him in the same category as Triple H, Damien Sandow, and apparently Kofi Kingston(says Regal). The fans still aren't terribly fond of Dallas, even starting a breif "Keegan" chant. Keegan gets some token offense but Dallas hits the ropewalk bulldog, then finishes with the snap belly-to-belly suplex. Kruger enters the ring and drops Keegan with a hammerlock suplex, then LARIATs him to the mat before kicking him out of the ring. Cue staredown...Leo reaches out to touch Da Belt, then bids Bo "ta ta" before departing. Fans chant "Kruger"...
Kassius Ohno & Corey Graves vs. Garrett Dylan & Scott Dawson(w/ Sylvester Lefort): The winners will get the next shot at the Tag Team Titles held by The Wyatt Family(Luke Harper & Erick Rowan). The good guys isolate Dawson in the opening minutes, but the rednecks turn it around and keep Graves in their corner. Corey finally hits Dawson with a jawbreaker and tags in Ohno...time for STRIKING~! A blind tag leads to Dawson hitting the spinebuster and Dylan jumping off the second rope with the sitout double-axhandle(the combo that ended their previous tag matches), but Graves breaks up the pin attempt by Dylan.

Big Ending number three is delivered, another five-count is made. Langston finally leaves before the referee remembers the whole decision-reversal option...
Backstage, Renee Young interviews Emma Tayla...but she's more interested in goofing around with a bubble-shooting gun. She thinks she's gonna win...that's pretty straightforward.
Emma Tayla vs. Aksana Raudoniene, Women's Title Tournament: Our brackets appear to be set, so the winner will face Summer Rae in the semifinals. (The other semifinal is Paige Knight vs. Alicia Fox, for those keeping score.) Aksana held the Women's Title in FCW as well as the Queen's crown, but she has yet to win any gold in WWE. Aksana attacks right away with a yank of the hair and dominates most of the action, but she can't keep Emma down for the count. Aksana wastes too much time posing and earns a kick to the rear for it, then Emma double-legs Aksana to the mat and turns her over into the DilEmma(inverted STF) out of nowhere! Aksana has nowhere to go and finally taps out...Emma advances in the tournament and dances with some young fans afterwards.
Dante Dash(w/o entrance but w/ theme music) vs. Leo Kruger: Regal says that Kruger went back to South Africa to take care of some "business"...okay then. Dante doesn't fare too much better than Aiden English...Leo targets the arm with a hammerlock suplex, then nails the LARIATOOOOO~! Kruger gets the tapout win via GC-3(London Dungeon), then decides to lurk at ringside for our next bout...
Conor O'Brian refers to The Ascension and says "we" will rise...guess he's got a new tag team partner.
NXT Champion Bo Dallas vs. Mickey(fka Axl) Keegan(w/o entrance but w/ theme music), non-title: Bo briefly spots old rival Kruger on the way to the ring...okay then. Keegan is noted as a Killer Kowalski trainee, putting him in the same category as Triple H, Damien Sandow, and apparently Kofi Kingston(says Regal). The fans still aren't terribly fond of Dallas, even starting a breif "Keegan" chant. Keegan gets some token offense but Dallas hits the ropewalk bulldog, then finishes with the snap belly-to-belly suplex. Kruger enters the ring and drops Keegan with a hammerlock suplex, then LARIATs him to the mat before kicking him out of the ring. Cue staredown...Leo reaches out to touch Da Belt, then bids Bo "ta ta" before departing. Fans chant "Kruger"...
Kassius Ohno & Corey Graves vs. Garrett Dylan & Scott Dawson(w/ Sylvester Lefort): The winners will get the next shot at the Tag Team Titles held by The Wyatt Family(Luke Harper & Erick Rowan). The good guys isolate Dawson in the opening minutes, but the rednecks turn it around and keep Graves in their corner. Corey finally hits Dawson with a jawbreaker and tags in Ohno...time for STRIKING~! A blind tag leads to Dawson hitting the spinebuster and Dylan jumping off the second rope with the sitout double-axhandle(the combo that ended their previous tag matches), but Graves breaks up the pin attempt by Dylan.

Mega Rumble: The winner gets the next shot at the T.V. Title held by Bobby Moore. Supernatural(#1) and Wade Adams(#2) start, then Joey Rhymer enters at #3 and he joins forces with Supernatural to eliminate Adams. #4 is Kevin Blue and he cleans house until the numbers catch up to him.
#5 is Brandon Parker...Blue boots Supernatural to the floor, but Parker wastes no time in dumping Blue over the top rope. Parker drops Rhymer with a backpack Stunner and beats him down until Rhymer's partner B.J. Hancock enters at #6. B.J. goes after Parker, but an errant Rhymer clothesline hits Hancock and they BOTH go flying out of the ring! B.J. looks frustrated with his young protege as Parker's left alone for a moment, but final entrant #7 is former Television Champion Billy Buck! The two slug it out and Buck gets the upper hand...he backdrops Parker over the ropes and a Buck Wild superkick sends him to the floor! That means Buck gets his rematch with Bobby Moore on next week's show...
Anthony Henry takes full credit for Stryknyn being out of action, as you might expect...asking for a ten-bell salute seems a bit much. Seth Delay hits the ring and that starts an impromptu bout...
Seth Delay vs. Anthony Henry: YAY WRESTLING~! Delay had control after a piledriver(!) and went to the top rope, but Miss Rachel ran out crotched him on the ropes while Henry had the referee's attention. Henry took advantage with a Razor's Edge setup dropped into a knee strike and that was enough for the win. Looks like Miss Rachel has a new protege...but Seth didn't take the loss well. Delay vowed that things weren't over between them...he challenged Henry to a best-of-five series(with tonight's bout as match one).
Steven Walters & John Skyler vs. Alabama Attitude(Mike Posey & Corey Hollis): Posey is still obsessed with challenging promoter Franklin Dove...okay. Walters & Skyler seemed to be in control, but then Skyler turned on Walters with the Sliced Bread #2 and Posey pinned Walters after the Alabama Jam.
Geter vs. Se7en(w/ Jeff G. Bailey): This is definitely a battle of the big boys...I guess Geter is the face? Se7en low-bridges Geter out of the ring and they brawl to the floor...finally shoving the referee out of the way. Looks like a double DQ...then Heavyweight Champion Shaun Tempers and Jagged Edge join the assault, bringing a chair into play! The Elite trio goes for the kill...anyone want to make the save? Jagged Edge takes the chair to Geter's leg...but the Urban Assault Squad members(Shadow Jackson & Nemesis) hit the ring! -Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton ended in a quick double-DQ when the two brawled out of the ring and referees had to separate them.
-Sheamus O'Shaunessy & Christian Cage d. The Rhodes Scholars(Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow) when Sheamus pinned Cody after the Brogue Kick.
-Kaitlyn Bonin(w/ Layla El) d. Aksana Raudoniene via spear despite Women's Champion A.J. Lee(w/ Big E Langston) trying to distract her in a Kaitlyn "costume".

CSCW Special Comment
Disclaimer: The following commentary contains constructive criticism. Reader discretion is advised.
I didn't get to the last couple of CSCW shows...it's been a busy time on the local wrestling scene and there were other shows on those same nights. Choices are getting tougher around here as the promotions are stepping up their games...nice problem for wrestling fans to have!
Lineup changes: Jagged Edge vs. Sanchez Brothers didn't happen. I thought I saw the brothers at the show; they're billed as seven-footers so they're far from the cannon fodder you would expect for a handicap match against a powerhouse heel. Andy Dalton wasn't there and neither was Shane Marx, so their scheduled opponents Ax Allwardt and Chris Logan faced each other.
Attendance was about the same as the previous show I attended...crowd noise wasn't a problem as there were a few particularly vocal fans.
I do think fans are now conditioned to "expect the swerve"...when a big deal was made about former wrestler Damon Buchanan becoming a referee, I was wondering if he'd screw someone over. As it turned out, he played it straight for the whole night...that doesn't mean it WON'T happen down the line, but it's nice when things don't ALWAYS play out like you think they will. Lately, the loaded sides have been WINNING handicap matches...MIND: BLOWN.
I appreciate PSYCHOLOGY~! as much as the next guy, but most of the matches on this show featured leg work of some kind. It can be a good idea to organize shows so that elements aren't repeated...in fact, two matches in a row ended on cheap rollups of some kind.
Justa Mazing has shown some impressive agility in the two times I've seen him. The opener was fast-paced but it seemed like both he and Dakota Prodigy were trying to do too much in their allotted time(there were some rough exchanges). It might benefit them to work with more experienced competitors who can guide them to a solid match structure. I've seen plenty of guys start out that way and hone their craft over time to become well-rounded wrestlers.
Another minor pet peeve: I appreciate if you're a fan of somebody, but it kinda says "small-time" when an indy wrestler comes out in a more famous wrestler's shirt.
With "The Shogun" Chris Logan and Damien Tyler of The Dragons on the card, we had two black guys with Japan-inspired gimmicks...just an odd side note.
Allwardt got an edge by hitting Logan in the knee with his chain...yay for restaurant-quality heeling. :-D
Since Shane Fury's character is a video game enthusiast, Shane Somers encouraged a "mushroom head" chant...okay. I was wearing my "know your mushrooms" T-shirt so I was conflicted. :)
Hadn't seen Reid Reign in the ring too much in the past several years(other than a brief appearance in December's Gateway Rumble). He didn't seem TOO rusty in that regard. Hadn't seen Joker since he worked for UWA, but he worked the last couple of CSCW shows...match was fine for what it was.
Marcello Spade vs. Damien Tyler was probably my favorite match of the night. Had only seen them a few times at MECW in the past; Spade had teamed with Fury as "Natural Fury" while Tyler was one-half of The Dragons with Matt Fontaine.
The main event was pretty good...Money cheated to win the first fall, then Somers ran off Garrett Williams to eliminate the outside interference. Spade targeted Money's previously-injured knee to get a tapout in the second fall, but another member of Williams' stable(Ax Allwardt) ensured that Money would hang onto the gold. The finish seemed off as Money tried a cover after the kneebrace shot but didn't get Spade's shoulders on the mat right away; he finally pulled him up to deliver the snapmare driver for the real three-count. Rob Conway vs. Evan Money should be an interesting bout in August.
Anywho, next weekend will have St. Louis Anarchy in Alton, IL on Friday. Probably won't go anywhere on Saturday(WLW's in Dixon, MO but that's a bit out of my usual driving range).

-Promoter Franklin Dove starts the show with a major edict: To prevent any future "hostile takeover" attempts by superstables, managers will be restricted to three wrestlers apiece.
-Sugar Dunkerton d. Jacoby Boykins with a schoolboy trip and rollup.
-Bobby Moore d. Billy Buck to win the T.V. Title. Manager Charlie Cash made a grand entrance, distracting Buck long enough for Moore to level him with the loaded forearm pad for the win and the belt. Cash put the belt around Moore's waist, officially declaring himself to be Moore's new manager.
-Miss Rachel and Bo Newsom complained about the excessive force used by Todd Sexton against his brother Brent Wiley at Hardcore Hell...they directed their comments at Todd's wife at ringside, prompting Todd to rush out after Newsom in a rage. The locker room emptied to separate the two...and promoter Franklin Dove ordered a street fight for the next show with Miss Rachel banned from the building.

Adrian Neville vs. Bray Wyatt(w/ Tag Team Champions Luke Harper & Erick Rowan): Harper & Rowan ended Neville's Tag Team Title reign a few months ago...Oliver Grey was injured by the Wyatt Family so Bo Dallas substituted in the match. However, Adrian got some payback by eliminating Wyatt from the battle royal a few weeks ago...and now we have this bout. Wyatt dominates with his size advantage...and just as Neville mounts a comeback, Harper pushes him off the top rope for the DQ. The troops move in for the kill, but recent Wyatt Family enemies Kassius Ohno & Corey Graves arrive to even the odds! A lot of tags are made in the early minutes of the match until we get a brief reprisal of the Neville-Wyatt match that started the show. Neville manages to turn a catapult into a landing on the second rope and then a double-stomp to the gut in one motion...ow. Graves gets distracted by Wyatt and runs into IT'S THE BIG FOOT from Harper...for two.
That leaves Corey in the wrong part of town for a while...but he gets away long enough to tags in Ohno! The house is on fire momentarily, but Rowan tosses Ohno out of the ring and Harper dishes out the abuse on the arena floor...just like that, the Family's back in command. An Ohno/Harper collision allows Ohno to make hot tag number two of the match(this time to Neville)...let's try this house-afire thing again! He springboards in with a dropkick on Wyatt, then nails the standing shooting star press...for two. He dropkicks Harper out, then Ohno dropkicks Rowan out...Ohno stuns Rowan with a swinging kick through the ropes, then holds Harper & Rowan for Neville's running corkscrew plancha! Neville stuns Wyatt with a roundhouse kick from the apron and goes up for the Red Arrow(corkscrew shooting star press)...but Harper pulls Bray out of the way! Doubleheader weekend, better get started...
The Sports Academy is a venue with a lot of wide-open space so the crowd noise doesn't always translate too well. There can be other factors in play, but I've noticed that the audience seems to sound better for wrestling shows in smaller venues(i.e. Wood River and East Carondelet).
Gentleman Jake Parnell has added a top hat and white gloves to his entrance attire...well played. Can be interesting to see a wrestler play different roles in the same weekend; he was an underdog face in Dynamo and then an arrogant heel in SICW. It seemed like the match with Rudolph was just getting started when the finish happened...odd. Parnell's looked good in the handful of matches he's had so far...good to see.
Andino Giovanni had previously competed in an SICW battle royal in Fairmont City, but he suffered a training injury so his Dynamo in-ring debut was postponed. He was in Parnell's corner last Friday...it takes dedication to get into your ring attire when your arm's in a sling.
Tiffany LaFane and Magic Man were both absent on Friday. That didn't bode well for Brandon Gallagher as Tiffany was instrumental in his previous win over Jackal...Jackal evened the score with a level playing field.
Two tag team feuds were combined into a four-corner match at Dynamo. It seemed like a lot of action was compressed into a short amount of time as things broke down into a free-for-all within a few minutes. The Gateway mainstays' issue with the Church Of Karrington took center stage as Adam Raw joined the former Ego Express in an attack on Adonis & Sharona...but then Nikki Strychnine made his grand return to even the sides. Strychnine, Adonis, & Sharona are no strangers to playing dirty and one could argue that they've forgotten more tricks than Karrington's crew currently know...bwahahaha...
Speaking of the First United Church of Karrington, Adam Rich and Dice seem to be MIA with no explanation. They were essentially down to Karrington, Kennedy, and manager Greg Jovi before Raw joined the fold last Friday. Wonder what happened there...
Miss Natural seems to change her hair color every few months...I'm sure there's an underlying joke about "The Natural" Butch Reed to be made. When I first saw her from a distance, I mistook her for Amy Hennig! I expected MsChif to even the score since Miss Natural won their previous Dynamo encounter, but Miss Natural took advantage of the environment to win.
Trent Stone was another competitor who was injured in training...so Elgin faced Billy McNeil while Kennedy(Billy's scheduled opponent) participated in the four-way tag match. Great matchup between Elgin and McNeil...it was basically face-vs.-face so the fans weren't that loud for it. I figured an upset was possible, but it was still a slight surprise to see Billy pull off the victory...good for him. I'd always wondered how far Elgin could go in the wrestling business since he's not the tallest competitor...but Big E Langston's about the same height and he's doing okay for himself.
Ricky Cruz and Jeremy Wyatt have battled all over the Midwest...not just in Dynamo but also in Metro Pro and 3XW. Onward to SICW in East Carondelet...they're gonna need a bigger building at this rate as it was standing-room-only on Saturday.
There's a lot on the horizon for these guys...legends' weekend in August at the Grizzlies' ballpark, Hacksaw Jim Duggan in October, and MIDGET MADNESS~! at next month's show.
Texan's alignment is a bit murky...the fans seem to like him in most cases, but he still appears with Travis Cook and his crew on occasion. He also played a large part in the post-match beatdown which led directly to the night's conclusion. Brent Myers has his share of fans in East Carondelet but Texan was a bit too much for him. The post-match chokeslam looked a bit rough...ouch.
Perhaps it was an omen that Ken Kasa & Travis Cook didn't have the Classic Wrestling Beer Pitcher with them. I'm sure it was safely locked away in a secure undisclosed location...or something. Gotta love precise wording...Travis demanded that Kasa get the next title shot after Powers and that apparently included impromptu challenges.
Pierre Abernathy joked that he never thought he'd see Adam Raw work "South Broadway"...MMWA and SICW are separate entities these days, but it was still a bit surreal. It looks like Raw's branching out in the area these days...he's looked really good since his official return to action.
Yes, we got the battle of the Old School Warriors...Chaz Wesson and Ax Allwardt both use that nickname in their respective home regions. This was another bout that ended rather suddenly...odd, but maybe their styles just didn't mesh too well.
Wasn't quite sure how Hargas-Flanagan would end. Both men are near the top of the proverbial rankings and Flanagan was still pushing himself as "undefeated"; he lost to Cruz by decision reversal at the Argosy show, but he has yet to be pinned or made to submit. The trend continued as Hargas won by countout...winning the battle but not as decisively as he may have liked.
On to the main event...in an era where titles change hands like crazy, it's amazing to think that ALL of the Classic Title holders were in the ring at the same time: Ricky Cruz, Ron Powers, and referee Danny Boy Hawkins. There are some SICW regulars who have their own favorites and it resulted in a divided crowd for the title match. Cruz's cut from the previous night was reopened in this one...Powers nearly won via shenanigans but Danny Boy made the right call in the end.
As it turned out, the night wasn't QUITE over...Travis Cook demanded that Ken Kasa get his title shot right then and there. With Cruz already ticked off at Cook's organization for their recent words and actions, it didn't take much goading for him to accept the challenge. Unfortunately, he was already bloody and hurting from Powers' low blow and piledriver...but he still dished out a beating on Travis Cook. Cruz even took a cue from a previous Cook promo by bringing out a hubcap and breaking it over Travis' head!
Unfortunately, Cruz's lack of focus proved to be the end of his thirteen-month title reign; Kasa nailed him with the John Wu Dropkick, then locked him in a modified cravate hold until he had no choice but to tap out. Hard to believe that the former Trainee #1/Ian Storm(TOOL~!) is now one of the top singles champions in the St. Louis area!
Kasa has a full plate already: I'm sure Ricky will want a rematch, plus recent rival Hargas(coming off his win over Flanagan) will probably be in line for a title shot. Also, I wonder how Flanagan and Powers feel about Kasa proverbially jumping ahead of them in line? How does Dave Vaughn feel about his partner getting the glory? We shall see...
The rest of June: CSCW on Saturday the 22nd, St. Louis Anarchy on Friday the 28th. WLW is in Dixon, MO on Saturday the 29th but that's probably a bit out of my range...they're starting a tournament for the vacant Heavyweight Title. Jason Jones forfeited the belt, fueling rumors that he was leaving the promotion...but instead he changed his name to Leland Race and will be in the tourney. The participants were announced: Race, Jack Gamble, Michael Magnuson, Dark Shadows, Kris Wallace, Britton Tucker, Garrett Rockhold, and Elvis Aliaga.

-World Champion Alberto Del Rio(w/ Ricardo Rodriguez) started Raw and turned on the fans for cheering Dolph Ziggler's Money-In-The-Bank cash-in, not to mention the occasional "USA" chants when he was feuding with Jack Swagger. C.M. Punk(w/ Paul Heyman) interrupted to dispute Alberto's claim to being the "best in the world"...
-Christian Cage d. Wade Barrett after the Killswitch.
-The Rhodes Scholars(Damien Sandow & Cody Rhodes) d. Sheamus O'Shaunessy in a handicap match; Sheamus set up for the Brogue Kick on Cody but got rolled up by Sandow for the pin. Sheamus took out Rhodes with the Brogue Kick after the match.
-Randy Orton d. Daniel Bryan in a no-DQ match via ref stoppage; Bryan seemed to be injured after a missed suicide dive but kept trying to fight until the ringside doctor and official called for the bell. The other fan vote choices for the stipulation were no-countout and best-of-three-falls.

-Stryknyn vs. Anthony Henry never officially started because Henry threw fire in Stryknyn's face. Henry nearly locked the blinded Stryknyn in the Texas Cloverleaf but Seth Delay ran him off.
-Tag Team Champion The Vandal d. Washington Bullet Trey Williams(w/ Jon Williams); Trey accidentally knocked his brother off the apron and Vandal hit the Zigzag for the win.
-Todd Sexton d. Bo Newsom in a street fight. With official Wes Grissom down, senior referee Brent Wiley interfered to help Newsom bash Sexton off the apron and through a table, but Franklin Dove pulled Wiley out of the ring to prevent a three-count after that. Todd fought back with a piledriver, a Tombstone, and then a cradle piledriver onto a chair for the decisive win(the original referee recovered to make the count).

Friday DPW Results From Glen Carbon, IL + Other Show Results
Jake Parnell(w/ Andino Giovanni) d. Alexandre Rudolph via rollup after a distraction by Giovanni.
Jackal d. Brandon Gallagher with the Killswitch #2; Tiffany LaFane was conspicuous by her absence.
The four-corner Tag Team Title match between Champions The Bumrush Brothers(Shorty Biggs & Outtkast), The First United Church Of Karrington(K.C. Karrington & Steven Kennedy)(w/ Greg Jovi), The Travis Cook Organization(Ken Kasa & Dave Vaughn)(w/ Travis Cook), and Jack Adonis & Mike Sharona ended in a no-contest; it didn't take long for this one to get out of control as all eight man battled in and out of the ring. The bout was stopped when Adam Raw made a surprise appearance on the side of the Church Of Karrington to attack the Bumrush Brothers, Adonis, & Sharona. As the newly-expanded Church celebrated their "moral victory", Sharona called out an unexpected ally: Nikki Strychnine! Nikki spewed his toxic waste in the eyes of the Church members and declared them a pale imitation of his Ministry Of Hate, vowing to destroy the whole group.
Heavyweight Champion Dan Walsh drew the name of his challenger for the evening: Former GCW Champion Kevin X.
"Miss Natural" Heather Patera d. MsChif in a falls-count-anywhere match. The two fought all over the Sports Academy and up onto the bleachers a few times. Miss Natural nearly got the win with the Natural Disaster(swinging fisherman suplex) on the floor, but she finally got the three-count after tying MsChif down to the bleachers with a camera cord.
Billy McNeil(subbing for the injured Trent Stone) d. Michael Elgin. McNeil fought an uphill battle against the powerhouse, but he finally got the upset win by countering a spiral bomb attempt into a jackknife cradle.
Ricky Cruz d. Jeremy Wyatt in a dog collar match. The collar chain was used as a weapon by both opponents and Cruz was left bloody after being yanked head-first into the ringpost. Cruz got the hard-fought win by combining his Cruzeta Azteca leglock with a chokeout using the dog collar and chain, leaving Wyatt unconscious!
Dan Walsh d. Kevin X to retain the Heavyweight Title. Kevin X grew frustrated with his inability to keep Walsh down for the count and brought a chair into play. However, Walsh reversed an Irish whip into the chair in the corner and got the small package pin. Tension remained after the match and the locker room emptied to separate the two.

Jackal d. Brandon Gallagher with the Killswitch #2; Tiffany LaFane was conspicuous by her absence.
The four-corner Tag Team Title match between Champions The Bumrush Brothers(Shorty Biggs & Outtkast), The First United Church Of Karrington(K.C. Karrington & Steven Kennedy)(w/ Greg Jovi), The Travis Cook Organization(Ken Kasa & Dave Vaughn)(w/ Travis Cook), and Jack Adonis & Mike Sharona ended in a no-contest; it didn't take long for this one to get out of control as all eight man battled in and out of the ring. The bout was stopped when Adam Raw made a surprise appearance on the side of the Church Of Karrington to attack the Bumrush Brothers, Adonis, & Sharona. As the newly-expanded Church celebrated their "moral victory", Sharona called out an unexpected ally: Nikki Strychnine! Nikki spewed his toxic waste in the eyes of the Church members and declared them a pale imitation of his Ministry Of Hate, vowing to destroy the whole group.
Heavyweight Champion Dan Walsh drew the name of his challenger for the evening: Former GCW Champion Kevin X.
"Miss Natural" Heather Patera d. MsChif in a falls-count-anywhere match. The two fought all over the Sports Academy and up onto the bleachers a few times. Miss Natural nearly got the win with the Natural Disaster(swinging fisherman suplex) on the floor, but she finally got the three-count after tying MsChif down to the bleachers with a camera cord.
Billy McNeil(subbing for the injured Trent Stone) d. Michael Elgin. McNeil fought an uphill battle against the powerhouse, but he finally got the upset win by countering a spiral bomb attempt into a jackknife cradle.
Ricky Cruz d. Jeremy Wyatt in a dog collar match. The collar chain was used as a weapon by both opponents and Cruz was left bloody after being yanked head-first into the ringpost. Cruz got the hard-fought win by combining his Cruzeta Azteca leglock with a chokeout using the dog collar and chain, leaving Wyatt unconscious!
Dan Walsh d. Kevin X to retain the Heavyweight Title. Kevin X grew frustrated with his inability to keep Walsh down for the count and brought a chair into play. However, Walsh reversed an Irish whip into the chair in the corner and got the small package pin. Tension remained after the match and the locker room emptied to separate the two.

-General Manager Hulk Hogan started the show. With Jay Bradley, Shawn Hernandez, and Samoa Joe already having qualified for the Bound For Glory Series, Hulk added the previous two Series winners: Jeff Hardy and Bobby Roode.
-Bound For Glory Series Qualifier: Bad Influence(Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian) d. Tag Team Champions James Storm & Phil Gunner(non-title); Daniels BELTed Storm from behind and Kazarian small-packaged Storm for the cheap win.

Sami Zayn vs. Antonio Cesaro: This is a rematch from Zayn's debut week when he defeated Curt Hawkins and then upset Cesaro later in the show. Cesaro is all business here...he takes the fight to the floor, drops Zayn on the guardrail, then rams him into the ringpost! Back into the ring...oh yeah, we need an opening bell and there it is. Cesaro rushes Zayn in the corner with a EUROUPPERCUT~!...for two. Zayn fires back but he's already taken a beating...he still manages to counter another EUROUPPERCUT into a backslide for two. Zayn tries to leapfrog the incoming Cesaro only to land in a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker...that'll slow him down.
Antonio follows up with a double-stomp but Zayn still kicks out at two. Zayn busts out of a chinlock by backing Cesaro into the corner...then he hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for two! EUROUPPERCUT~! stops him in his tracks...for two. Deadlift gutwrench suplex gets two. More chops ensue in a match full of them, but Zayn headscissors Cesaro out of the corner and throws him right out of the ring! Time to fly...no-hands somersault plancha! Back inside, third floor...taking a bit too long...and he jumps right into a EUROUPPERCUT~! Cover...only gets 2 1/2! Cesaro's ticked off now...he grabs the chinlock but Zayn fights out of it, then somersaults up and over into a Code Red!...for 2 1/2! Both are slow to rise...Zayn charges at Cesaro only to eat a boot out of the corner. Cesaro blocks a small package attempt but Zayn escapes a suplex to roll him up(that's how he won last time)...for 2 1/2! Cesaro immediately grabs him in the chinlock again...Zayn tries to fight out but Cesaro keeps going back to the hold to wear him down. He finally loads him up in the Neutralizer and that's the ballgame...YAY WRESTLING~! Cesaro slaps him in the face for good measure and only the sudden presence of an extra referee prevents him from continuing the beating.
Baron Corbin & Travis Tyler vs. Garrett Dylan & Scott Dawson(w/ Sylvester Lefort): Let's see if Corbin fares better as Tyler's partner than Sawyer Fulton did a few weeks ago...yeahhhhh, not likely. Tyler gets trapped in the wrong corner in a hurry...Regal appreciates the old-school tactics of the Dylan/Dawson pairing. Tyler finally gets in a few shots on Dawson and tags in Corbin...the house is on fire but Dylan blind-tags into the bout. Dawson hits Corbin with the spinebuster and Dylan enters with the seated double-axhandle drop from the second rope...that'll do it as Dylan gets the pin. Dawson calls the combo "Southern Pride"...okay.
Alicia Fox vs. Bayley Rose, NXT Women's Title Tournament: Bayley's now sporting a bow in her hair along with a ponytail. Alicia's a former WWE Divas' Champion so this is an uphill battle for Bayley. Bayley gives her a hug, but Alicia's in no mood to play nice and beats her down(guess she's a heel tonight). Northern Lights suplex gets an early two-count...cue the chinlock(complete with hairyank to stop a comeback). Bayley finally fires up with forearm smashes and a monkeyflip...she hits a kneedrop for a two-count, then follows up with an exploder suplex for another near-fall. Alicia ducks into the ropes and kicks Bayley away(experience~!)...that's enough of an opening for Fox to hit the axe kick for the win! Alicia advances in the tournament and denies a fan's outstretched hand on the way out...yup, she's a heel. Looks like she faces Paige in the semifinals(barring a change in the displayed bracket graphic).
Big E Langston vs. Bo Dallas for the NXT Title: Dallas won an eighteen-man battle royal two weeks ago for this title shot. CHALK UP~! Yup, fans are behind Big E. Bo's attempt at an opening lockup ends in him getting backdropped across the ring. Bo gets off a dropkick that doesn't knock the champion off his feet, then Langston impressively leapfrogs Dallas(!) before shoulderblocking him to the mat. Bo dropkicks the knee and then low-bridges Big E out of the ring, but he waits in the ring instead of following him to the floor. Dallas goes on the attack on re-entry but Langston rams him into the turnbuckles in brutally direct fashion.
Big E continues his dominance for a while, getting a near-fall after a short-arm clothesline. Regal notes the focus on the ribs as Langston hits a big splash...Dallas fires up only to get elbowed out of the ring. Bo rolls out of the way of a second splash attempt, but three clotheslines don't take him off his feet. A ropewalk bulldog finally gets him down...for two. Bo sets up the spear but runs into a belly-to-belly suplex...now it's Langston's turn to rally. Knees to the gut(FIVE~! of them) set up the Vader Smash and THE STRAPS COME DOWN~! Big Ending? No, Bo hangs onto the turnbuckle for dear life and pulls off the pad in the process. Dallas escapes the move and shoves Big E forward into the exposed metal...not once but twice! Bo hits the snap belly-to-belly suplex and that's enough for him to win the NXT Title!
The fans don't seem impressed...Renee Young does the post-match interview with the new titleholder and he's going to Disneyworld! Okay then.
