We start with Jim Ross presiding over the contract signing for next week's NXT Title match between champion Big E Langston and challenger Bo Dallas. It's safe to say that the fans are on Langston's side. Bo says that he's seen Big E get major opportunities on the main WWE roster and wants that spotlight for himself. Langston tries to be a bit heelish but the audience isn't biting...in the end, Dallas leaves the ring without a handshake.
Backstage, Renee Young interviews Corey Graves...he's not on the best terms with Kassius Ohno but they have common enemies tonight against the Wyatt Family.
Paige Knight vs. Tamina Snuka, NXT Women's Title Tournament: Tough test for Paige in this first-round bout...but she isn't shy about going toe-to-toe with Tamina. Unfortunately, a headbutt duel goes as expected and Tamina dominates from there. Tamina slows the pace, then levels Paige with a superkick when she tries to fight back. Superfly Splash...hits the knees and Paige gets the rollup pin to advance in the tournament! A quick look at the brackets shows us the rest of round one: Alicia Fox vs. Bayley Rose, Sasha Banks vs. Summer Rae, and Emma Tayla vs. Aksana Raudoniene.
Renee interviews Kassius Ohno...he's ready to destroy the Wyatt Family. Will he be able to coexist with Corey Graves? He gives a non-answer, simply saying it'll be a war tonight.
Mason Ryan vs. Colin Cassady: Haven't seen Cassady in a while...don't like his odds though he's got a slight height advantage here. Cassady gets in a few shots but it's not enough...Ryan gets the win after the torture-rack neckbreaker.
Renee(having a busy week) interviews Sami Zayn...he had a great debut with two big wins in the same night. Unfortunately, one of those opponents decides to interject himself...Antonio Cesaro calls it a cheap win, but Zayn only considered the post-match attack to be "cheap". Zayn jokes about Cesaro's "man-purse" and IT'S ON...but the fight is quickly broken up by referees and agents.
Alex Riley vs. Conor O'Brian: Riley does slightly better than expected...but O'Brian stops him in a hurry with a Stungun. A Flapjack sets up a modified Rings Of Saturn with an added headscissors(Philllips calls it the Stockage) for the tapout.
The Wyatt Family(Luke Harper & Erick Rowan)(w/ Bray Wyatt) vs. Kassius Ohno & Corey Graves for the Tag Team Titles: The challengers enter separately. Wyatt enlightens us, saying the only thing that scares him is himself...he has a seat in his usual rocking chair on the entrance ramp. Ohno & Graves have trouble dealing with the size and power disadvantage in the early going, but they do manage to get their opponents off-balance on a few occasions. Ohno takes some abuse but gets in a jawbreaker-style move from behind on Rowan...hot tag to Graves!
He's able to legdive Rowan but Harper runs interference before that can go too far. Graves ends up on the wrong side of the ring and IT'S THE BIG FOOT from Harper puts him on his back...now he's the one in trouble. Corey small-packages Harper out of nowhere for two...crucifixes him for two...then finally tags Ohno! Ohno cleans house and boots Rowan out of the ring, then sentons Harper...for two. Wyatt distracts Ohno for a moment but it's not enough as Ohno takes out Harper with a roaring...headbutt? Rowan has to break up the pin, then Graves takes Rowan out of the equation...but with the ref's attention on that side of the ring, Bray nails Ohno from behind. Graves nails Wyatt with a corkscrew plancha...but the damage has been done and Harper mows down Ohno with the discus lariat for the win. The champs retain on this night...
Next week: Big E Langston vs. Bo Dallas for the NXT Title.

At that point, Ray ran away from the match...General Manager Hulk Hogan nearly attacked Ray backstage with his own hammer before his daughter Brooke yelled for him to stop.
