-"The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles d. James Ellsworth to retain the WWE Title after a strike flurry ending in a forearm smash (0:45).  Styles dished out an extensive post-match beating and then spoke his mind, leading to a verbal confrontation with both number-one contender Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin.
-"The Miz" Mike Mizanin(w/ Maryse Ouellet-Mizanin) d. Apollo Crews to retain the Intercontinental Title after a thumb to the eye set up the Skull-Crushing Finale (4:51 aired).  When Renee Young tried to get a post-match interview regarding Miz's feud with Dean Ambrose, Miz brought up Renee's off-camera relationship with Ambrose and she slapped him.
-Dean Ambrose d. Luke Harper(w/ Smackdown Tag Team Champions Bray Wyatt & Randy Orton) via La Majistral cradle (4:35 aired).  Ambrose was beaten down by all three members of the Wyatt Family afterwards, then Miz(w/ Maryse) entered to add insult to injury with a Skull-Crushing Finale.
-La Luchadora d. Smackdown Women's Champion Alexa Bliss(non-title) with an armbar submission (3:01); Luchadora unmasked after the match to reveal herself as Becky Lynch.
-Mojo Rawley d. Curt Hawkins after a running forearm smash on Hawkins in the corner (2:30); Ryan Phillippe did commentary.
-Dolph Ziggler fought Baron Corbin to a double countout (12:04 aired); WWE Champion A.J. Styles did commentary.
-Next week:  Styles vs. Ziggler vs. Corbin for the WWE Title, plus Alexa vs. Becky for the SD Women's Title.

-Commentators:  Mauro Ranallo, Corey Graves, & Austin Aries.
-Ariya Daivari d. Lince Dorado with the frog splash (5:39).  In the post-match interview, Daivari complained that "The Extraordinary Gentleman" Jack Gallagher was no gentleman, but actually a "scoundrel".
-Returning soon:  Yoshihiro Tajiri.
-Cedric Alexander(w/ Alicia Fox) d. Drew Gulak with the Lumbar Check(belly-to-back double-knee backbreaker) (5:34).  Gulak shoved Cedric into Alicia on the floor at one point, leading to "The Scottish Supernova" Noam Dar coming out and carrying her back up the aisle; despite the distraction, Alexander was able to win the match and chase Dar to the dressing room area.  After the match, Gulak complained about Alicia's presence and said it was a "man's world".
-Backstage:  Cedric checked on Alicia in the trainer's room, leading to a tense situation with Dar.
-"The Man That Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville & "The" Brian Kendrick d. Cruiserweight Champion "The Outlandish" Rich Swann & T.J. Perkins when Neville pinned Perkins after the Red Arrow(corkscrew shooting star press) (14:10).
