-After Takeover: Paul Ellering spoke on behalf of the new NXT Tag Team Champions, The Authors Of Pain(Akam Dhinsa & Rezar Selmani).
-After Takeover: Injured former NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura was assisted to the backstage area by Jason Albert and checked out by the trainer(along with a concerned Triple H). Nakamura also got a visit from another interested onlooker: Kassius Ohno.
-After Takeover: New NXT Champion "The Glorious" Bobby Roode demanded that the rookie interviewer respect the titleholder.
-At the broadcast table, they acknowledged that it was Corey Graves' last show on the commentary team as he'll be focusing on his WWE main-roster duties. They ran a tribute video of Graves' career, dating back to his wrestling days in Florida Championship Wrestling and then the early days of NXT before concussions brought his in-ring career to a premature end. After the video, Graves was not happy that his final match on NXT commentary would feature Elias Samson...
