-St. Louis Title Tournament Semifinal: "The Raging Bull" Maverick d. "The Bull City Boss" Cornell Douglass(w/ Brother Castle); Castle's interference backfired as Douglass accidentalliy heart-punched his cohort, leading to Maverick winning after a Death Valley Driver (14:55). Before the match, Douglass said that he had negotiated with NWL President Major Baisden to make the tournament final a no-disqualification bout.
-Tommy Flagg(w/ August Marshall) d. Party Crasher Spike(w/ Boulder) after a Flatliner (6:14).
-NWL President Major Baisden had a PowerPoint presentation about their television deal in Kansas City, encouraging fans to contact KPLR-11 about a TV deal for St. Louis. He was interrupted by "The Billion-Dollar Brother" Emmett DuBois & Clayton Fox; they took credit for running "Super Soul" Coco Rumble out of the NWL. DuBois and Fox attempted to cue up their own PowerPoint but only seemed to come up with templates...finally Jack Foster hit the ring, growling "THIS IS NOT PRO WRESTLING!" Fox was unfortunate enough to be the brunt of Foster's aggression as DuBois retreated; Foster left him laying after a big boot and chokeslam.
-On the big screen: Jay Lutz was attempting to stay sober for his rematch with Marcellus Gaines, but SOMEONE left a gift of booze in his dressing room...
-"Greatness" Marcellus Gaines(w/ Drew Gold) d. Jay Lutz after the Southpaw Shooter(knockout punch) (1:48); Lutz was clearly inebriated and in no condition to compete. Gold took credit for the liquor gift, saying he simply made Gaines' job easier for the night.
-I-70 Series: The Blood Brothers(Davey Gibson & Mathew Grundy) d. The Royal Blood(Jet & Jax Royal); Gibson pinned Jet after he and Fitchett delivered a brainbuster-to-the-knee/flying knee strike combo (17:54). (Kansas City 5, St. Louis 4)
-The Buddy System(Buddy Shepherd & Skyler Beckett) d. The Underground(Adam Ryan & Jackie Lee Bosch) when Beckett rolled up Ryan (8:13). Ryan & Bosch attacked after the bell, but "Takedown" Javy Torres made the save and revealed his Buddy System T-shirt...proclaiming that he had allowed The Buddy System to come into him!
-Christian Adonis d. Neon Iverson after raising his knees to block a 450 Splash, then scoring the win with a reverse neckbreaker (5:43).
-St. Louis Title Tournament Final: "The Five-Star Phenom" Todd Letterman d. "The Raging Bull" Maverick in a no-DQ match to become the first NWL St. Louis Champion. The two heavyweights brawled on the arena floor for several minutes; Letterman missed his corner cannonball, leading to Maverick attacking Letterman's leg. The fans were clearly divided with some cheering for Maverick and others cheering for Letterman. Maverick brought in a piece of guardrail and a steel chair, both of which were put to good use...Letterman delivered not one but TWO spinebusters onto the guardrail as it was propped in the corner! Maverick powered Letterman up for the Death Valley Driver, but only got a two-count. Letterman came back with the Endzone Spike(pumphandle Michinoku Driver) but Maverick incredibly kicked out at two and a half! Letterman removed a turnbuckle pad, only for Maverick to reverse Letterman into the steel...but Letterman was able to drop Maverick on the metal buckle in a desperation move. Letterman hit another Endzone Spike and finally scored the win for the title (27:20)! Major Baisden presented the championship belt to the new titleholder...the era of LETTERMAN has begun!
