-Backstage: "The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger was interviewed about his Smackdown debut; he was excited about making it to the main roster, but he has some unfinished business in NXT. He said he spoke with General Manager S. William Regal and has his final grudge match with Eric Young on next week's show...and the numbers game won't happen this time as it'll be a cage match.
-Do It Yourself(Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) d. Dylan Miley & Michael Blais; Gargano pinned Blais after a close-range superkick while Ciampa delivered a knee strike to the back of the head (2:59). Miley had dominated the match while he was in the ring, so he blamed his partner for the loss and attacked Blais.
-After Takeover: A somber Ember Moon reflected on her experience, saying it was supposed to be her moment. However, Asuka Urai proved that she would do anything to hang onto the NXT Women's Title...she vowed that just as Asuka was the first to defeat her, she would be the first to defeat Asuka.
-Ruby Riot d. Kimberly Frankele(Kimber Lee) after a short-arm Pele Kick (2:21); Nikki Cross surfaced at ringside to watch the match.
-Backstage: Billie Kay & Peyton Royce harassed Liv Morgan & Aliyah Areebi in the trainer's room, provoking Liv into shoving Billie into a tub of water.
-Drew McIntyre d. Oney Lorcan after the flying boot (4:45 aired). Drew was interviewed after the match, confirming that he worked hard in the past few years and could have gone anywhere. Even with Raw or Smackdown as options, NXT is where he wants to be.
-Shinsuke Nakamura made an appearance to bid farewell to NXT...he learned a lot in his time there and the brand became a special thing. The roster made its way out to the stage to applaud him and they were joined by NXT alumnus Finn Bálor.
