Saturday MMWA Results From St. Louis, MO + Other Show Results

-The night started with a ten-bell salute for Harley Race.
-Barackus d. Moondog Rover via rollup after a distraction by "Da Bomb" Brian James (6:16). James attacked Moondog afterwards but Rover fought him off.
-"2.0" Da'Marius Jones vs. "Volatile" Curtis Wylde(w/ Wyldefyre) ended in a no-contest when "P.O.D." Damion Cortess brought out Camron Bra'Nae and the match was changed to a mixed tag match (no closing bell; about 3:00).
-"Volatile" Curtis Wylde & Wyldefyre d. "2.0" Da'Marius Jones & Camron Bra'Nae(w/ Damion Cortess) when Wylde pinned Jones after the Wylde Ride(Flatliner) (5:22).
-"Night Train" Gary Jackson d. Keith Smith Jr. by countering a figure-four leglock attempt with a small package for the pin (7:58). After the match, Jackson acknowledged that he and Brian James were working as a tag team again.
-During the announcement for next month's St. Louis Wrestling Hall Of Fame ceremony, The Professionals(Shawn Santel & Mauler McDarby) attacked "Killer" Keith Smith...Keith Jr. made the save, setting up a tag match for next month.
-"The Son Of The South" Frankie D d. Sid Holland(w/ Tyler Bodine); Bodine distracted the referee as Holland got a hold of Frankie's chair, but Frankie kicked him low and hit him twice with the weapon outside the ring. Frankie finished with a cobra clutch Russian legsweep (10:28).
-Attila Khan d. "Marvelous" Mark Morgan via cobra clutch/camel clutch combination, as the official called for the bell after Morgan's arm dropped three times (3:14).
-"The King Of Chaos" Ricky Cruz d. Khayman(w/ Abigail & Cage) after an avalanche Codebreaker to retain the Heavyweight Title (13:25). Curtis Wylde(w/ Wyldefyre) attacked Cruz afterwards and Attila Khan joined the assault until Damion Cortess went in after Wylde. Cruz demanded to get Wylde in the ring and said Khayman deserved another shot as well, so a triple threat match for the title was set up for September.

  • -Guerrilla Warfare(The Big Texan & Waco) fought The Professionals(Shawn Santel & Mauler McDarby) to a no-contest to retain the Multi-State Tag Team Titles when both teams brawled in the ring after Texan injured his knee (9:15).
