Saturday PWE Results From Alton, IL + Other Show Results

-Ring announcer:  "Googz" Robert Svenson.  Referees:  Ben Reilly & Dallas Edwards.
-"Rock Star" Cordell Cain won a six-way match with "The Powerglider" Eddie Martinez(w/ El Nastico), Bax, "Big Time" Ethan Heyre, "The Influencer" Sean Login, and "Humanly Disdained" Derek Fullerton to win the Issues With Wrestling Overdrive Title when he pinned Fullerton after the 450 Splash (5:23).
-"The Grand Regent" Camaro Jackson vs. Alex Herzog for the Interstate Title never officially started as the two brawled out of the entranceway and the locker room emptied to separate them.  Promoter Lenny Mephisto was accidentally struck a few times in the chaos, causing him to order a cage match between the two in the future.
-"The Master Of Hairflips" Brandon Aarons won a battle royal.  Approximate order of elimination:  Vincent Sawyer, "Godspeed" Noah Clover, Cactus Tate Manson,  Anthony "Worldwide" Lopes, "The Third-Generation Monster" Damien Blackwell, Zarek Camacho, "Cutthroat" Kenny Kalix, Harsh, Alex Melee, Navi Kai, "Effortless" Chris Hendrix, "Big L" Lance Gettemeier, "The Midwest Bad Boy" P.T. Beckham, and "The Sensational" Eagle Eye (7:09).
-Big Bad Barackus d. Nick Natural(w/ "Humanly Disdained" Derek Fullerton) after a splash off the second rope (10:20).
-"The Marionette" Noelle Summit d. "Your Wish On A Shooting Star" Rachel Armstrong via pump knee to retain the Women's Title (6:20).
-Quest Parker d. "Captain Bad Attitude" James Brady with the double-jump flying Cutter to win the Cruiserweight Title (10:16).
-"The Golden Cobra" Kevin Lee Davidson d. "The Modern Man" Calvin Coco after the swinging uranagi (8:02).
-"Strictly Business" Brandon Barretta d. "Da Bomb" Erik Surge via rollup with a handful of tights (13:20).
-Keith Smith Jr. d. "Big Munch" Marcus Muncherson to retain the Heavyweight Title.  Munch hit the front powerslam, but "Big L" Lance Gettemeier pulled the referee out of the ring before the pin count could be made.  Munch confronted Big L only to be leveled by a boot to the face; Big L put Smith on top of Munch and threw the referee back into the ring to count the pinfall (7:26).
-The Philly & Marino Experience(Philly Collins & Marino Tenaglia) d. Tag Team Champions The Hooligans(Itchy Devin & Mason) by DQ; The Hooligans retained the Tag Team Titles.  P.M.E. appeared to have the match won after hitting the Sunset Dreams(Flapjack-into-Paydirt) on Mason, but Itchy interrupted the referee's pin count with a low blow to save the titles (10:30).

-Jr. HeavyweightChampion "The Whole Thang” Rahim De La Suede d. Talon Graves(non-title) via Canadian Crossface (7:08).

-”Monstrous” Mike Maverick d. Tobias Storm with the running powerslam (5:51).

-”Astonishing” Austin Mulitalo won a handicap match against The Premier(“SOUPerstar” Campbell Myers & “Dat Boi” S.K. Bishop) to retain the Tag Team Titles for himself and Blade Lennox(who was injured in a pre-show attack), scoring the pinfall via rollup on Myers(?) (8:33).

-Jeff Wilde d. “Superstar” Steve Fender with a rollup (10:31).

-Heavyweight Champion “The Grand Regent” Camaro Jackson d. “The Deliverer” Moses Powell(non-title) by countering a springboard move with the lariat for the win (11:42).

-”The Peerless Princess” Camron Bra'Nae d. Women's Champion Skylar Sparks by DQ when Sparks blatantly struck the referee (12:14); Sparks retained the title.

 

It was a rainy day, causing some outdoor wrestling shows to be cancelled (Dynamo Pro at Cinco De Mayo in St. Louis, IEW in Granite City which was scheduled to take place in the outdoor pavilion).
