-Interesting concept for the show as they're setting up the Fort Lauderdale doubleheader: It's "Blind Destiny". The Friday show has a triple threat match for the title, but they don't have a set title match for the Saturday show. Therefore, tonight's matches will determine the Saturday matchups for each participant in the Friday title match...whoever has the belt after the Friday show will defend against his scheduled opponent on the Saturday show.
-T.V. Champion Jay Lethal d. Kenny King(w/ Rhett Titus) in a non-title match by countering a bridging O'Connor Roll into his own bridging pin. Roderick Strong & Truth Martini watched the match from the entranceway; Lethal moves on to face Strong.
-Kevin Steen d. Adam Cole with the F-5; Steen moves on to face Eddie Edwards. Edwards ran into the ring to prevent a post-match package piledriver.
-Michael Elgin(w/ Truth Martini) d. Kyle O'Reilly with the spiral bomb after distraction by Roderick Strong; Heavyweight Champion Davey Richards did commentary and went to ringside to fight with Strong late in the match. Elgin moves on to face Richards.

-Ron Powers did a promo about his upcoming best-of-three-falls Classic Title match with Ricky Cruz.
-Flashback to May 1980: Pat O'Connor & Rocky Johnson fought King Kong Brody & Ken Patera to a time-limit draw.
