I really need to sit myself down and write new material...been busy with training at my job lately. Was fortunate to get on stage at both open-mics this week, not to mention the showcase at the late show on Friday at Etc. Given my recent creative dry spell, it may be a good thing that my comedy schedule will be a bit lighter in the near future...
On that note, this is the last week for Comedy Etc. II in its current location...I know I'm not the only one hoping for Art Vieluf to find a new area venue in the near future. It's been a great place for Illinois comics to perform...I've met some great professional comics at the weekend shows and I've learned a lot from my time there. Here's to a great run...and hopefully the start of another one down the road.

WWE Smackdown
-Commentators: Josh Mathews, Booker T, & Michael Cole. Interim General Manager: Vickie Guerrero.
-Women's Champion Layla El d. A.J. Lee(non-title); Daniel Bryan distracted A.J. and Layla capitalized with a unique rollup pin. A.J. attacked Layla after the match...then Bryan called Vickie to the ring. He wanted her to ban A.J. from ringside for his WWE Title match at Money In The Bank...but thanks to the Board Of Directors, A.J. was named the special guest referee for that match.

-World Title Money-In-The-Bank Qualifying Match: Tyson Kidd d. Jack Swagger(!) after a top-rope Buff Blockbuster.

-Sheamus O'Shaunessy won a triple threat match with Alberto Del Rio(w/ Ricardo Rodriguez) and Dolph Ziggler(w/ Vickie Guerrero) to retain the World Title; Sheamus broke up Ziggler's O'Connor Roll on Alberto with the Brogue Kick, then threw Alberto out of the ring and pinned Dolph.
-On next Tuesday's live Smackdown: A "Great American Bash" battle royal, plus The Great Khali & Layla vs. Antonio Cesaro & Aksana Raudoniene.
FCW notes: Brad Maddox won the FCW 15 Title from Richie Steamboat on Thursday and Caylee Turner upset Raquel Diaz for the Women's Title on Friday.

Midweek wrestling
TNA XPlosion
Commentators: Jeremy Borash & Pat Kenney.
Garett Bischoff vs. Douglas Williams: Joseph Park is in the audience, for the record. Haven't seen much of Garett recently...the crowd reactions are partisan to say the least. Williams takes Bischoff too lightly and whiffs on a top-rope move, then hits only ringpost on a blind charge...Garett capitalizes with a snapmare driver to get the duke.
WWE NXT
Commentators: Jim Ross, Byron Saxton, S. William Regal, & Chris Russo. Ring announcer: Summer Rae.
Seth Rollins vs. Jiro Takizawa: For the uninitiated, Seth is former ROH Heavyweight Champion Tyler Black. Jiro is a graduate of TAKA Michinoku's Kaientai Dojo but he gets the no-name treatment here. As it turns out, my description of the participants lasts almost as long as the actual match...Jiro gets in a few chops but that's about it. Seth rallies with a dropkick, enzuigiri, corner forearm, spinkick to the gut, and advanced curbstomp(now called the Blackout) for the quick victory. Briley Pierce(who still works here) does the post-match interview...we're moving quickly on this show as Jinder Mahal's music hits right after Seth is done with his promo...
Jason Jordan vs. Jinder Mahal: J.R. touts Jordan as a top prospect...hey, at least he gets an entrance this week. Mahal enlightens us before the match...good for him. Jinder dominates the matchup...Jordan manages a late rally but Mahal levels him with the high knee. The camel clutch is academic after that...then Mahal yaps AGAIN after the match.
Debuting tonight: South Africa's Leo Kruger.
Aiden English vs. Leo Kruger: English gets the no-name treatment...sensing time management issues with this show. English hits one dropkick but not two...it's downhill from there. Leo grabs him in the sleeperhold out of nowhere for the fast tapout.
Jimmy & Jey Uso vs. The Ascension(Conor O'Brian & Kenneth Cameron): Regal & Russo join J.R. for this matchup. Cameron loses a few intelligence points by trying to headbutt a Samoan; Jimmy Uso doesn't take kindly to that. O'Brian pulls the ropes apart to send Jey tumbling to the floor...Jey is subjected to an extended stompdown in the corner after that. Jey fires back with a huge corkscrew forearm on Conor...tags are made on both sides and Jimmy takes out Cameron with the alley-oop Samoan Drop. Umaga Smash hits but Conor breaks up the pin. Conor dumps Jey and gets pulled to the floor himself...however, Conor gets rid of Jey long enough to blind-tag into the match. Jimmy's left on his own and falls victim to the Downcast(sitout jawbreawker by Cameron, then Flapjack by Conor) to give O'Brian the upset three-count.
Richie Steamboat vs. Rick Victor: Victor gets the no-name treatment again...hard to believe he briefly held the FCW Heavyweight Title. Byron's back at the broadcast booth with J.R....I suspect some things were taped out of order. ARMDRAGS~! ensue as father Ricky is shown in the audience. Steamboat controls the majority of the matchup...he picks up the win with the spinaround neckbreaker(dubbed the Slingblade by J.R.).
Dante Dash vs. Antonio Cesaro(w/ Aksana Raudoniene): Dash gets the no-name treatment. Have only seen Dante once or twice on FCW TV...he actually matches up well with Cesaro in terms of sheer size. However, that just makes it more impressive when Cesaro throws him with the deadlift gutwrench suplex. Dash gets zero offense; Cesaro gets the easy win with the Neutralizer.
Coming soon to NXT: Bray Wyatt.
Derrick Bateman vs. Johnny Curtis: Curtis starts things off with a slap in the face before bailing out of the ring...heh. Bateman chases him around the ring, but avoids the incoming kneedrop on re-entry. However, Bateman misses a high knee in the corner and Curtis takes control with a modified dragonscrew legwhip. Curtis focuses his attack on the leg, keeping Bateman down on the mat...Derrick finally kicks him away. Bateman limps through the comeback, hitting his modified STO...but Curtis kicks out the leg to stop him. However, Bateman quickly maneuvers into the Mantastic DDT(which J.R. calls the DVD...why not?) and that's enough for the victory.
Next week: The NXT debut of Kassius Ohno plus new entries to the women's division.
WWE Superstars.com
Commentators: Josh Mathews, Scott Stanford, & Matt Striker.
Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Michael McGillicutty: "R-Truth" Ron Killings is on the shelf with an injury so Kofi's flying solo for the moment. Kofi pulls off a few unique moves that I hadn't seen out of him before...it takes a few attempts but Kingston finally picks up the win with the Trouble In Paradise.
Epico Colon(w/ Primo & Rosa Mendes) vs. Darren Young(w/ Titus O'Neil & Abraham Washington): A.W. has an ever-present headset microphone so the arena can hear his trash-talking...lucky us. Good solid matchup...Epico fires off a chain of back suplexes but A.W. makes a nuisance of himself on the apron. That distraction allows Titus to trip up Epico as he attempts to springboard off the middle rope...one Gut Check later, Young gets the duke.
Jimmy & Jey Uso vs. Hunico & Donny Camacho: The Usos do well early, but a momentary distraction by Hunico gives Camacho the opening to hit Jey with a huge spinebuster. We get the standard tag formula until Jimmy gets the hot tag...the grass hut is afire! Hunico gets hit with the alley-oop Samoan Drop and Umaga Smash...Jimmy gets a two-count. Camacho runs interference as Jimmy goes to the ropes, allowing Hunico to trip up Jimmy. Hunico hits the top-rope victory roll(!) but Jey breaks up the pin attempt. Camacho nails Jey in response...but as the ref escorts Camacho out of the ring, Jey boosts Hunico into a mid-air superkick from Jimmy! Jey cuts off Camacho and Jimmy gets the three-count on Hunico for the victory.
Kane vs. Heath Slater: So who's the fan favorite in this matchup? Heath seems to think he's a hot commodity as of late...too bad he's got some HELLFIRE & BRIMSTONE coming his way. The commentators do note that Heath is getting himself on the proverbial map...he tries to kick out Kane's knee and then snaps his throat off the top rope. He actually gets Kane down with a dropkick off the second rope but the resulting pin attempt doesn't amount to much. Slater to the top...and he eats an uppercut coming down. Kane hits the sideslam and clothesline off the top rope, then welcomes Heath to Chokeslam City (population One (Man Band)). 1-2-3.
TNA Impact
Commentators: Mike Tenay & Taz.
Bound For Glory Series: Rob Van Dam d. Ken Anderson by countering a Regal Roll with a crucifix pin.
Sonjay Dutt d. Rubix(aka Jigsaw from CHIKARA) with a moonsault double-stomp(OW), hyped as a qualifying match for the upcoming X-Division Title tournament once Austin Aries forfeits the belt.
Bound For Glory Series: Samoa Joe d. Bully Ray via Kokita Clutch after distraction by Joseph Park.
Rashad Cameron(Sabian) d. Mason Andrews(Scorpio Sky) via Paydirt to advance to the X-Division Title tournament at Destination X.
Joey Ryan interrupts Taeler Hendrix's Gut Check segment...security takes him away. Alex Silva got the nod and Joey got the thumbs-down...Taeler gets the vote to join the roster.
Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian d. Kurt Angle & A.J. Styles to win the Tag Team Titles. Kazarian acted like he was upset about Daniels lying about the situation with Styles and Dixie Carter. However, he hit A.J. with a chair from behind while the referee was down, leading to Daniels getting the pinfall.
Next week: James Storm vs. Jeff Hardy plus Brooke Tessmacher vs. Gail Kim for the Women's Title.
Commentators: Jeremy Borash & Pat Kenney.
Garett Bischoff vs. Douglas Williams: Joseph Park is in the audience, for the record. Haven't seen much of Garett recently...the crowd reactions are partisan to say the least. WWE Raw
-Commentators: Jerry Lawler & Michael Cole. Interim General Manager: Vickie Guerrero.
-Daniel Bryan won a non-title three-way dance with WWE Champion C.M. Punk and Kane; A.J. Lee came out to ringside, distracting Kane long enough for Punk to escape a chokeslam attempt and eliminate Kane with the Go 2 Sleep. However, Bryan surprised Punk with a buzzsaw kick right after that pinfall and covered the champion for the winning three-count.
-The Big Show d. Brodus Clay(w/ Funkadactyls); Clay tried to bodyslam Show but his injured knee gave out and Show fell on top for the pin.
-Santino Marella d. Jack Swagger via Cobra to retain the U.S. Title.
-Psycho Sid Vicious d. Heath Slater after the powerbomb.
-Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio(w/ Ricardo Rodriguez) fought to a draw in a contract-on-a-pole match when both men pulled the contract down at the same time. That resulted in the World Title match for Smackdown becoming a triple threat match.
-A.J. Lee won a women's battle royal. Other participants(in approximate order of elimination): Maxine Perez, Aksana Raudoniene, Alicia Fox, Kaitlyn Bonin, Rosa Mendes, Tamina Snuka, Natalya Neidhart, Beth Phoenix, Women's Champion Layla El(title not on the line), Vickie Guerrero.
-John Cena d. Chris Jericho by DQ; The Big Show came out as Cena had Jericho set up for the F-U, allowing Jericho to escape and take Cena down in the Walls Of Jericho. Show entered the ring and gave Cena a legdrop to the back of the head(getting Jericho disqualified); Jericho simply left the ring and Cena was subjected to a chokeslam and camel clutch from Show after that.

FCW TV
Commentators: Byron Saxton, S. William Regal, & Antonio Cesaro. Ring announcer: Chris Russo.
The Ascension(Conor O'Brian & Kenneth Cameron) vs. Alexander Rusev & Colin Cassady: Rusev & Cassady definitely have sheer size on their side, but this is their first outing as a team against a more experienced duo. Rusev has grown an impressive set of muttonchops(thank you, Mr. Regal). O'Brian has trouble dealing with Cassady's size, but baits him into reaching through the ropes and wraps the arm around the ringpost. Rusev turns the tide by pulling the ropes apart, causing Conor to fall out to the floor. Conor fights back but Rusev stops him with a spinning heel kick(!). However, O'Brian catches Rusev with a DDT...looks like a race to tag! Rusev's avalanche misses and Cameron finally tags into the fray...the house is on fire! Kenneth pulls out a surprise victory roll for two, then dropkicks the knee to take the big man off his feet. Cameron chops his own partner to tag him back into the match...okay. A double-team backfires and O'Brian BOOTs Cassady, then Cameron hits the sitout jawbreaker on Rusev and O'Brian follows up with the Flapjack for the victory! That combo is known as the Downcast, according to Jim Ross on NXT6...
Kassius Ohno vs. Garrett Dylan(w/ James Bronson): Does this officially make Ohno a face? Yes, Dylan is the son of actor Kris Kristofferson, thanks for asking. YAY WRESTLING~! Ohno yells out ARRIBA~! as he delivers a Flying Jalapeno...well played, sir. Ohno wears him down with his striking ability, but Bronson sweeps Ohno's leg behind the referee's back to halt his momentum. Ohno nicely maneuvers into a sunset flip for two, but Dylan levels him with a huge LARIATOOOOO...for two. Haven't seen much of Dylan before this but he's looking really good. Ohno gets a couple of quick two-counts before starting a full-fledged rally...Ohno blocks an O'Connor Roll and blasts him with a basement dropkick, but Dylan bails out of the ring as Ohno readies the roaring elbow. Ohno does a nice plancha fake-out, flipping out of the ring and leveling Dylan with a BOOT. It's almost academic from there as Ohno takes him back inside for a corner forearm, then finishes with the Ohno Blade(fka Death Blow). Ohno and Bronson have a brief confrontation before Ohno takes his leave...
Benicio Salazar vs. Erik Rowan: Salazar has abandoned the mask, oddly enough. It's been a LONG time since I've seen Rowan in FCW...Byron informs us that he was on the injured list for almost a year. Rowan finishes in short order with an old-fashioned chokeslam.
Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose for the Heavyweight Title: Ambrose challenged Rollins as soon as he walked in the door of FCW, leading to a trio of classic battles over the FCW 15 medallion. Russo does the big-match introductions. As is customary, Regal has very little to say about Ambrose, though he does repeat his belief that Ambrose will end his career one day. They feel each other out to start...YAY WRESTLING~! They trade holds for several minutes before the pace picks up...Ambrose teases a Regal Stretch attempt as he takes control of the match. Seth escapes a Midnight Special(Air Raid Crash) attempt and goes on offense...but a trip to the turnbuckles goes awry as Ambrose powers him back into the corner for a superplex. Ambrose favors his arm after the landing and Regal wonders if that arm is still bothering him from his previous encounter with him...
Ambrose refuses medical attention at ringside and actually rams his own shoulder into the ring apron in an attempt to pop it back into place. Rollins decides to take the initiative with a suicide dive, then throws him back in for a springboard clothesline...for two. Dean avoids Avada Kedavra and rolls him up...for two. Ambrose fires back by taking out Seth's leg, hanging him up in the ropes to dish out more punishment. Over at the commentary table, Regal admits to some caution around Ambrose but wonders if he should just fight him anyway. Ambrose stays on the leg with a figure-four leglock, protecting his bad arm in the process...PSYCHOLOGY~! Ambrose goes for a half-crab but Seth gets a hold of the bad arm to block it...then kicks the hell out of it. Seth kicks him into the ropes and catches him in a small package...for two, reversed by Dean...for two. Ambrose lowers the kneepad and lines up for the knee trembler...but Rollins avoids it only to whiff on an enzuigiri attempt. Knee trembler hits on the second try...but only gets 2 1/2!
Dean clotheslines Seth repeatedly in the corner, then lifts him up for another superplex...but Seth fights out and sunset-flips down for a turnbuckle powerbomb attempt. However, the leg gives out...Dean tries another figure-four but Seth kicks him away and he hits the ringpost shoulder-first! Seth rolls him up just to put him in position for Avada Kedavra...and nails it! Seth can't go for the cover after that kick...but steps off the second rope for an advanced curbstomp! Cover...only gets 2 1/2! Seth gets desperate...and locks Ambrose in the Regal Stretch! All the pressure is on the bad arm but Dean won't submit...he fights out of the hold and bites Rollins' hand to get away. Both men are in desperation mode and Seth hammerlocks the arm before delivering a series of kicks to the face...then nails a standard-issue advanced curbstomp to FINALLY get the win!
So long from the Sunshine State!

NWA Anarchy TV #334
Commentators: Tim E.D. & John Johnson.
Najasism vs. Vandal: Vandal cuts off a moonsault attempt by the newcomer and hits a hanging Eye Of The Hurricane to get the duke.
John Johnson introduces Jeff G. Bailey & Jerry Palmer, accompanied by the Tag Team Champions Se7en & Bryan Cassanova and Heavyweight Champion Shaun Tempers. Presumably Cassanova is the permament replacement for Lane Vasser as far as the tag belts are concerned.
The NWA Elite(Se7en & Bryan Cassanova, w/ Jeff G. Bailey & Jerry Palmer) vs. Skirra Corvus & Jacob Ashworth for the Tag Team Titles: Hate to agree with the heels, but...yeah, how do Corvus and Ashworth rate a title shot? To their credit, they give it a good effort...the Elite walk the fine line of being big powerhouses while showing enough vulnerability to be beatable. Cassanova holds the odd distinction of being a Tag Champ with three different partners despite only "officially" winning the belts on one occasion(the first one). The Elite get a scare when Ashworth hits his inverted neckbreaker on Cassanova, giving Corvus a CLOSE near-fall. Ashworth officially tags into the match, but Se7en blind-tags on his side...Cassanova inverted atomic-drops Ashworth and Se7en follows up with a pump kick! That's enough for Se7en to get the pin on Ashworth as Cassanova cuts off Corvus...then Se7en gorilla-pressed Corvus into a Diamond Cutter by Cassanova for good measure.
After the match, Tommy Daniels & C.B. Gibson enter the ring to pose over their fallen rivals Corvus & Ashworth...why not?
Johnny Dangerous vs. Steven Walters vs. John Skyler: This is a qualifying match for a gimmick match at Hostile Environment called the Gold Rush...the winner of that match gets a title match of his choice with the stipulation of his choice. Walters & Skyler double-team Dangerous but only one man can win this matchup...the teamwork finally falls apart when Walters decks Skyler by mistake. Dangerous gets dumped out of the ring, but he re-enters with a springboard cross-body on both opponents to kick off El Big Comeback. Walters dumps Skyler with a released German suplex and sets up a superplex on Dangerous, but Dangerous fights out of the predicament only to whiff on a top-rope maneuver. Skyler tries to capitalize but Dangerous blocks Sliced Bread #2 and Skyler eats a Codebreaker from Walters. Dangerous jumps off the second rope onto Walters and HOLY CRAP CANADIAN DESTROYER...yup, Dangerous pins Walters after that maneuver to qualify for the Gold Rush!
Jerry Palmer introduces T.V. Champion Bo Newsom for his scheduled title defense against former champ Seth Delay...but he's not dressed to compete. Seth hit him with the brass knuckles not too long ago, so he claims a concussion and won't be competing tonight. He names his replacement to defend the belt in his place: Jacoby Boykins.
Jacoby Boykins(w/ John Johnson & Bo Newsom) vs. Seth Delay, Newsom's T.V. Title on the line: Ring announcer Brett Wolverton joins Tim E.D. at the broadcast table with Johnson fulfilling his managerial duties...yeah, it's safe to say Seth wasn't prepared for this particular opponent. Boykins dominates the matchup with his size and power advantage but can't keep Delay down. Seth finally dropkicks Jacoby out of the ring and follows up with a plancha...but he goes for one top-rope move too many as Boykins clotheslines him out of the air. Cover...somehow only gets two. Powerbomb...no, Seth fights out of it to pummel Boykins in the corner. Seth dropkicks the knee a few times to take the big man down...then nails the missile dropkick! Both men are down and the actual T.V. Champ jumps up on the apron to distract the ref. That backfires on Newsom as Delay gets out the brass knuckles to coldcock Bo...but he turns around right into Boykins' huge powerslam. 1-2-3, Jacoby gets the win to retain the title for Newsom. Boykins carries the fallen champion away from ringside while holding up the belt...
Next week: Shaun Tempers vs. Slim J for the Heavyweight Title.
Location: Comedy Etc. II
Guest Set(late show): Liz Donehue
Feature: Steve Gillespie
Headliner: Tim Walkoe
Good crowds on Saturday...the late show has a surprisingly good audience. Did my best to mix up my material over the course of my four emcee sets...think the weekend turned out pretty well. Appreciate Art Vieluf giving me the opportunity...hadn't hosted a full weekend in quite a while. I don't know if my style fits the hosting role very well, but I learned a bit over the course of the four shows. This coming week...Funny Bone on Tuesday, Etc. open-mic on Wednesday, and the Best Of Comedy Etc. show on Friday night at 10:15. Hope to see you at the shows!

-Commentators: Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuinness.
-Eddie Edwards d. Brutal Bob Evans(w/ Mike Bennett & Maria Kanellis) via backslide. Bennett & Evans attacked after the match but the save was made by the returning Homicide(Edwards' opponent at this weekend's iPPV). Homicide shook hands with Edwards after the match, but KICK WHAM GRINGO KILLA, see ya at the match.
-Jay Lethal d. Chris Silvio with the Lethal Injection v2.0(rope-handspring Cutter). Outside happenings: Prince Nana & R.D. Evans came out to watch the match, eventually joined by Truth Martini. Tommaso Ciampa took exception to the Embassy members associating with Martini and eventually shoved Martini down...that brought out T.V. Champion Roderick Strong. Lethal got involved after the match and it turned into a three-way pull-apart brawl.
-Davey Richards & Kyle O'Reilly fought Heavyweight Champion Kevin Steen & Jimmy Jacobs(w/ Steve Corino on commentary) to a no-contest; the match was never really in the official's control as all four men fought in and around the ring. The ref finally threw it out after the ringside table was decimated in the chaos, leading to the locker room emptying in an attempt to restore order...

WWE NXT6
Commentators: Jim Ross & S. William Regal. General Manager: Dusty Rhodes. Ring announcer: Caylee Turner.
Bo Dallas vs. Rick Victor: Bo's family lineage is acknowledged in the pre-match vignette. Victor gets the no-name treatment but Regal does mention his Hart Dungeon training. Quick but semi-competitive matchup; Bo gets the win after the spear.. Briley Pierce(who still works here!) interviews Bo after the matchup...
Coming to NXT6 next week: Seth Rollins.
Making his NXT debut next week: Antonio Cesaro.
Jason Jordan vs. Damien Sandow: Mr. Sandow considers it bad form to be pitted against an unworthy opponent such as this ignoramus. So much for that matchup...
Mike Dalton & C.J. Parker vs. The Ascension(Conor O'Brian & Kenneth Cameron): Dalton never gets into the match as Parker takes a beating from the Ascension duo...O'Brian gets the pin after the Downcast(Cameron's sitout jawbreaker followed by a jawbreaker from Conor).
Coming to NXT6: Bray Wyatt(formerly Husky Harris, formerly Duke Rotundo).
Derrick Bateman runs into Johnny Curtis backstage...in the restroom area, to be precise. They're meeting in the main event next week.
Tyson Kidd vs. Michael McGillicutty: Tremendous matchup, as you'd expect from these two. Kidd gets hung from the Tree Of Woe, but it backfires on McGillicutty as Kidd avoids a baseball slide and MM crotches himself on the ringpost. Kidd rallies with offense, but a springboard move is met with a mid-air dropkick by MM...for two. Kidd fights out of a superplex attempt and nails the Merosault...for two. Sharpshooter is teased but McGillicutty hangs onto the ring apron to escape...then comes back with a Saito suplex out of nowhere for two. McGillicutty locks Kidd in his own Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring...Kidd barely reaches the ropes to break the hold. Perfectplex is countered by a small package...for two. Kidd rolls him up, but neglects the pin to transition into the Dungeon Lock! McGillicutty has nowhere to go and taps out...Tyson Kidd is your winner!
Next week: Derrick Bateman vs. Johnny Curtis.

The Thursday audience took a while to get warmed up but they turned out to be a fun crowd. Unfortunately I botched Steve's name during an early mention of the upcoming comics but I got it right for his actual introduction. I guess I have three more chances to get it right...though it's probably not the best way to start my first hosting weekend in a while. Tim advised me to "focus the crowd" before going into my material...should also refer to other hosting advice I've gotten in recent months.

Comedy Part 459: Sixth Year In The Books
Location: Comedy Etc. II
Emcee: Me
Lineup: Jessica Campbell, Chad Wallace, J.C. Sibala, Kelsey McClure, Mike Speck, Joshua Slobe, Andrew Hagen, Joe Lancey, Jeremy Hellwig, Bobby Jaycox, Joel Vidakovich, Angel Kircher, Jesse Tuttle, Landon Meyer, Kevin Bunetic, Kenny Kinds
Had a good time hosting the show...on top of that, Art Vieluf asked me to host all weekend for Tim Walkoe. Most tremendous. Did several older jokes for the "anniversary" occasion...they were definitely helped by my improved on-stage confidence. Someone once advised me that I don't talk about "myself" enough and that's a key part of connecting with the audience...so I'm making an effort to write material about past jobs and other experiences. Like everything else in comedy, it's a work in progress...and I'm on six years and counting.

WWE Raw
-Commentators: Jerry Lawler & Michael Cole.
-Mick Foley made an appearance as the interim General Manager for the week...
-WWE Champion C.M. Punk & World Champion Sheamus O'Shaunessy d. Daniel Bryan & Kane; Kane was distracted by A.J. Lee coming out in a Kane-esque outfit and mask, leading to Bryan taking a Go 2 Sleep and Brogue Kick before being pinned by Sheamus.
-Dolph Ziggler d. Jack Swagger(w/ Vickie Guerrero) after fighting out of the anklelock and hitting the Zigzag. Vickie left with Ziggler after the match.
-Alberto Del Rio(w/ Ricardo Rodriguez) d. U.S. Champion Santino Marella(non-title) with the cross-armbreaker. Ricardo attacked Santino after the match.
-Cyndi Lauper and Wendi Richter made an appearance but were interrupted by Heath Slater...that brought out Rowdy Roddy Piper. Heath ended up getting smashed with a "gold record" that Piper had presented to Lauper.
-Primo & Epico Colon(w/ Rosa Mendes) d. The Prime Time Players(w/ Abraham Washington) by countout.
-John Cena won a handicap match against The Big Show, David Otunga, & John Laurinaitis(made by Laurinaitis the previous night before being removed from power); Show left before the match and Otunga walked out midway through. That left Laurinaitis to take three F-Us and tap out to the STF.
Eventful weekend for FCW...on Friday night, Roman Leakee & Mike Dalton won the Tag Team Titles from Corey Graves & Jake Carter. Then on Saturday night, the Heavyweight Title changed hands TWICE...Rick Victor scored a shocking upset over Seth Rollins to win the belt, but Bo Dallas challenged Victor later in the night and became a three-time Heavyweight Champion.

SICW Special Comment
SICW had an interesting show with several newcomers to the promotion...they also did a good job of setting up multiple contenders for new Classic Champion Ricky Cruz. Gary Jackson had the first title shot but we've also got Ron Powers(w/ rematch clause), Dave Vaughn, and presumably Ken Kasa in the mix.
Only two matches(Cruz-Jackson and Hargas-Vaughn) were announced ahead of time...though they said Chaz Wesson was scheduled to be part of a tag match before he got hurt. The Sean Vincent substitution worked either way since he was proving to a recent rival(either Hargas or Wesson) that he could be trusted.
Oddly, Waco sported an armpad during the tag match(he was in Powers & Texan's corner) but didn't have it for his actual match.
"All That" Matt Murphy was one of the first graduates from Harley Race's training school and worked for WLW for a long time...during the days of WLW's TV show on PAX, he teamed with Superstar Steve Fender on a regular basis. He has mostly worked Metro Pro in recent months...he has teased retirement but I don't know if he'll truly hang up the boots or not.
Hadn't seen Heath Hatton or A.T. Brooks in quite a while...both are regulars with AAPW. Hatton even worked a WWE PPV recently, teaming with Ace Hawkins against Ryback(with the obvious result).
Jake Dirden has looked good in his first few matches...Waco's armwork indrectly led to the finish as he ran Dirden into the turnbuckles shoulder-first to set up the rollup victory.
Hargas wasn't hurt too badly by the loss since Travis Cook saved Vaughn from defeat at one point AND Hargas had already wrestled earler in the night. Vaughn's gunning for Cruz's title so he needed the win more...
Wasn't expecting a decisive finish to the title match and didn't get one...it was as close to a unification match as we're likely to get(since Gary is the reigning MMWA Heavyweight Champion).
Next weekend is MECW in Wood River...don't think anyone local is running on the last weekend of June.

-The Prime Time Players won a four-corner match with Jimmy & Jey Uso, Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd, and Primo & Epico Colon(w/ Rosa Mendes & Abraham Washington) to earn a future Tag Team Title match; Darren Young pinned Primo after the Gut Check while A.W. kept Epico from interfering. A.W. revealed his true allegiance by raising the hands of Titus O'Neil & Young after the match

-Sin Cara d. Hunico(w/ Donny Camacho) via La Mistica v2.0.

-Ryback won a handicap match against Dan Delaney & Rob Grymes after hitting the muscle buster on both men at once.
-John Cena(w/ Vince McMahon) d. The Big Show(w/ John Laurinaitis) in a cage match by escaping the cage; several of Show's recent victims(including Brodus Clay and Zack Ryder) got involved to prevent Show from going through the cage door as Cena climbed out to win. Vince fired Laurinaitis and Cena gave him the F-U through the Spanish broadcasters' table.

NWA Anarchy TV #333
Commentators: Bret Wolverton & John Johnson.
Mike West & Raymond King d. Zach Daniels & Joey Rhymer; West pinned Rhymer with a jackknife cradle after a bearhug/leg lariat double-team.
Jerry Palmer introduced new T.V. Champion B(r)o Newsom...he extolled his own virtues, unaware that Seth Delay was entering the ringside area through the fans. BAM, brass knuckles to the face and a Tim Tebow pose with the knucks for good measure. Jacoby Boykins hit the ring but Seth was just leaving over the guardrail.
Billy Buck fought Bobby Moore to a double countout. Moore continued his attack after the match and brought in a chair, but Buck superkicked the chair back into his face. Buck teased a Pillman job on Moore's leg with the chair(like Moore had done to him) but Moore rolled out of the ring to save himself.
Shaun Tempers(w/ Jeff G. Bailey & Jerry Palmer) d. Azrael(w/ Dan Wilson) in a bloody cage match to retain the Heavyweight Title. Azrael's Ted Bundy only got a two-count, as did Tempers' Rude Awakening. Palmer passed his axhandle into the ring but neither man could connect with the other with the weapon. Azrael fought out of a super Rude Awakening attempt and could have climbed out of the cage, but elected to go for the frog elbowdrop instead...however, Tempers blocked the move with the axhandle and got the pin after that. Se7en attacked The Reverend after the match and the NWA Elite members trapped him in the cage to dish out a severe beating...John Johnson locked the cage door and Wilson was handcuffed to the ropes. Commissioner Brodie Ray Chase couldn't get into the cage...reinforcements arrived but none of them were able to climb into the cage. Finally Slim J entered from the other side of the building and dove off the cage with a flying inverted DDT on Tempers! That finally gave the other roster members the opening to climb into the cage and the NWA Elite members took their leave. Brodie Ray Chase announced that Slim J would get the next shot at Tempers' Heavyweight Title...that'll work.

However, the referee turned around to see Nana stomping Strong as Ciampa was going for the cover...leading to the disqualification.

Saturday SICW Results From East Carondelet, IL
At the start of the show, it was announced that Chaz Wesson was out of action with a back injury. Chris Hargas volunteered to take his place in the scheduled tag match, meaning he would be wrestling twice.
Sean Vincent d. Max Archer with the Death Valley Driver.
New Classic Champion Ricky Cruz was interviewed, but he was interrupted by Ron Powers who vowed to regain the title once he got his rematch.
Alexandre Rudolph d. Matt Murphy after a short-arm clothesline; Rudolph continued to abuse Murphy after the match before finally leaving.
Chris Hargas & Sean Vincent d. Ron Powers & The Big Texan by DQ when Powers threw Vincent and Hargas over the top rope. Vincent was allowed to take the place of the injured Bobby D after Powers destroyed Bobby with the timekeeper's table during the matchup. Hargas & Vincent were outnumbered but finally brought in steel chairs to clear the ring.
Ken Kasa d. Heath Hatton after the John Wu Dropkick. Travis Cook came out to ringside, seemingly scouting for new talent...
Jimmy D d. A.T. Brooks via backcracker.
Waco d. Jake Dirden via rollup while pulling on Dirden's belt for extra leverage.
Dave Vaughn(w/ Travis Cook) d. Chris Hargas; Hargas nearly won after the F-5 but Cook put Vaughn's foot on the bottom rope. Vaughn later escaped a second F-5 attempt and got the pinfall with an O'Connor Roll.
Classic Champion Ricky Cruz's title defense against Gary Jackson ended in a no-contest. Before the match, Travis Cook(w/ Dave Vaughn & Ken Kasa) came out and challenged Cruz to defend against Vaughn at the earliest possible opportunity. Cook came back out during the match and Cruz decked him with a big right. That brought out Vaughn, whose presence distracted Jackson as he had Cruz in the Texas Cloverleaf. Jackson's loss of focus led to Cruz delivering the superkick, but then Ken Kasa arrived at ringside and Vaughn entered the ring to spear Cruz. The referee had no choice but to throw the match out...Cruz was double-teamed by Vaughn and Kasa after the bell. Jackson initially walked away from the ring, but finally came back to help Cruz fight off Vaughn and Kasa. That set up a tag match for the next show(July 21st)...

Comedy Part 458: Counting Down
Location: Comedy Etc. II
Emcee: Ben Johnson
After: Preston Vaughn
Before: Landon Meyer
Well, it was made official last week: Etc.'s current location will be closing at the end of June. Art Vieluf is looking for a new spot for the club so it could re-open at some point. Until then, I'll have to check out some of the area bar shows like Nick's Pub, O'Malley's, and Fitz's for the sake of getting stage time. Some of the newer comics are bringing people so we've had some really good crowds for the open-mic shows lately...woo. Finally got some new jokes written and tried them out last night...they're bad-pun-oriented which is always tremendous. :-D

WWE NXT5.com Finale
Commentators: Josh Mathews & S. William Regal.
Derrick Bateman & Percy Watson vs. Tyler Reks & Curt Hawkins: Regal had criticized Reks & Hawkins for wearing pink and black(a la Hart Foundation) a few weeks ago...so this week they're wearing lime green in tribute to the Dynamic Dudes(thus sucking up to General Manager Johnny Ace). Bateman is the lone remaining "rookie" in Season 5/Redemption...so does he win by default? We also have Percy as a representative of Season 2...Kaval(Low-Ki) won that season but that didn't really work out so well. Josh mentions that Season 6 will FINALLY begin next week...WOO~! Hawkins breaks up a Mantastic DDT on Reks, then Reks shoves Bateman into the ropes where Hawkins is waiting with a cheapshot kick. Reks finishes with Soylent Green on Bateman...way to wrap up the season, Derrick.
Kaitlyn Bonin vs. Natalya Neidhart: The NXT3 winner has a tough test ahead of her in the form of the "Dungeon Diva". Nattie has the experience advantage, of course...she busts out a bow-and-arrow submission hold but nearly pins herself in the process. Kaitlyn falls on top for two, then gets a small package for two and rollup for two. Playtime is declared over as both women dial up the aggression...Nattie goes for the Flair Pin with feet on the ropes but only gets two. She argues with the ref and gets rolled up again...for two. Natalya levels Kaitlyn with the discus lariat and now she's ticked off...but Kaitlyn escapes from a power move with a sunset flip attempt. Nattie initially blocks it, but Kaitlyn still manages to complete the pinning combination for the upset pin! Natalya throws a tantrum in response to this revolting development.
Coming to NXT6: Bo Dallas(fka Bo Rotundo), son of Mike "I.R.S." Rotundo and brother of Husky Harris.
Coming to NXT6: Richie Steamboat, son of Ricky The Dragon.
Jimmy & Jey Uso vs. Johnny Curtis & Michael McGillicutty: The NXT4 winner and the NXT2 runner-up could make a formidable tag team...they do a tremendous job of destroying Jey's leg after a turnbuckle move goes awry. Jey fights back and the heels cut off the tag once but not twice...Jimmy Uso is a grass hut afire! MM gets hit with the Samoan Drop and Umaga Smash...for 2 1/2. McGillicutty fires off a Saito Suplex out of nowhere...for 2 1/2. Jey gets a tag and they lay out McGillicutty with the 3-Minute Warning Special...Jey goes for the cover but Curtis breaks up the pin with a huge guillotine legdrop! McGillicutty covers but Jimmy saves, then superkicks Curtis off the apron for good measure. Headturner neckbreaker is blocked and McGillicutty eats a superkick from Jey, then Jimmy tags in for the splash off the top and the victory!

MMWA Special Comment
Heavyweight Champion: Gary Jackson
Junior Heavyweight Champion: Max Archer
Television Champion: Dave Vaughn
Battle Royal Champion: Dave Osborne
Tag Team Champions: The Lumberjacks(Abe & Gabe) -> LaMarcus Clinton & Chase King
Surprisingly low crowd at South Broadway...they had been doing very well in that department for most of 2012. Wrestling attendance seems to be down during the summer months...people want to do stuff outside plus there's competition from baseball and other activities.
As previously noted, Gary Jackson regained the Heavyweight Title from Brandon Espinosa at the May show. Also, Dave Vaughn won the T.V. Title from Chase King. Don't know the circumstances surrounding either result since I was at MECW that night.
MMWA has a bit of a belt overload(Heavyweight, Junior, T.V., Battle Royal, Tag, and the inactive Women's Title) compared to SICW(just the Classic Title)...odd since you'd think SICW would have the more extensive talent pool without the constraints of Missouri licensing. I had always thought that at least one of the championships could be moved to the Illinois side for the sake of balancing things out.
I've mentioned MMWA's odd practice of putting a midcard-ish match at the end of the show...I think someone on Facebook(Mike Sharona?) referred to it as a "reverse curtain-jerker". Sadly Castaldi did NOT get his revenge for Texan injuring him in Hillsboro last year. As it turned out, this show was bookended by masked wrestlers getting squashed as Dave Osborne dominated Draco Verdadero to kick things off.
Since Jimmy D defeated LaMarcus Clinton at the last Broadway show I attended, I was wondering if that trend would continue with his match with Ace Hawkins. Howver, Ace picked up the victory...no sign of Frankie D on this night.
I have NO problem with introducing Vaughn to the Jackson-Espinosa feud...Espy and Vaughn had some great matches last year. Not sure where it leaves Vaughn's T.V. Title as he's now pursuing the Heavyweight Championship. Espinosa's in a weird tweener state right now...he's already been getting mixed reactions.
Cruz vs. Archer was a solid matchup...Ricky's momentum continues as he's rarely tasted defeat in Midwest wrestling lately. He captured the SICW Classic Title from Ron Powers and then scored a huge win over former NWA World Champion Adam Pearce in recent weeks...
Sean Vincent did a face promo before his matchup with Vaughn...this turn may take some work. He can work face, it's just a matter of whether the fans will buy into it.
The tag match got a LOT of time and was all over the place...I spent the entire match convincing myself that an upset could happen. A clean finish would have been nice, but still good to see a shakeup in the tag team ranks(such as they are).
Sounds like it'll be SICW next week for me and then MECW the week after that...did notice that IHW(Dupo) would have been running in the same general area as SICW(East Carondelet) and figured that was a factor in the IHW show's cancellation.

WWE Raw
-Commentators: Jerry Lawler & Michael Cole.
-World Champion Sheamus O'Shaunessy d. Lord Tensai(w/ Adeshi Sakamoto)(non-title) with the Brogue Kick. Tensai attacked Sakamoto after the match.
-Ricardo Rodriguez & Beth Phoenix d. U.S. Champion Santino Marella & Women's Champion Layla El when Beth pinned Layla after the Glam Slam.
-Dolph Ziggler(w/ Vickie Guerrero) won a non-title four-way dance with Intercontinental Champion Christian Cage, Jack Swagger, and The Great Khali; Ziggler replaces the injured Alberto Del Rio as Sheamus' opponent. Khali took a knee clip from Swagger, dropkick from Ziggler, and frog splash from Christian before being dogpiled and pinned by all three opponents. Ziggler stole the pin on Swagger after Christian hit the Killswitch. Dolph got the final elimination thanks to Christian's ankle being damaged by Swagger's anklelock, giving him the opening to hit the Zigzag for the pin.
-Ryback won a handicap match against Willard Fillmore & Rutherford Hayes after hitting the muscle buster on both men at once.
-The Big Show d. Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston in a cage match after knocking him out with the PUNCH, then walking out the door at his leisure.
-Sin Cara d. Curt Hawkins with La Mistica v2.0.
-Vader(!) d. Heath Slater with the Vader Bomb.
-WWE Champion C.M. Punk & A.J. Lee d. Daniel Bryan & Kane when Punk pinned Bryan after the Macho Elbow; A.J. was accidentally tagged into the match at one point and actually planted a huge kiss on Kane, causing a flustered Kane to tag out of the match and walk away from the ring.
-The show ended with Vince McMahon giving General Manager John Laurinaitis his performance review, complete with feedback from The Big Show and John Cena. Hostilities surfaced and Cena and Show brawled...leading to Show accidentally PUNCHing Vince in the chaos.

FCW TV
Commentators: Byron Saxton, S. William Regal, & Antonio Cesaro. Ring announcer: Chris Russo.
Tag Team Champions Corey Graves & Jake Carter vs. Mike Dalton & Xavier Woods, non-title: Don't underestimate the Dalton/Woods pairing; they have matching ring attire! Abraham Washington is conspicuous by his absence...we'll see if that makes a difference. Xavier has "OVER 9000" on his tights...tremendous. Regal & Cesaro trade quips about their respective nationalities...Regal jokes that the Swiss battle flag is a white cross on a white background. :-D Dalton & Woods work very well together...Byron notes that they've teamed up at non-televised events in the past. Dalton finally ends up in the wrong part of town and gets sent floorward by Graves thanks to a distraction by Carter. Dalton elbows Graves and low-bridges Carter, but Carter yanks Woods to the floor to prevent a tag. Dalton fights back again, ducking and dodging his way to the corner...and Xavier finally gets the hot tag! The house is on fire and the champs are in trouble, then Xavier holds the ropes to set up Dalton's suicide dive into Graves! Woods is left with Carter and nails the Lost In The Woods(low-altitude Flatiner)...that scores the non-title victory!
Women's Champion Raquel Diaz enlightens us with a really weird makeover(platinum blonde wig and blue lipstick). She does an overblown self-introduction...okay then.
General Manager Summer Rae & Rob Naylor have matching hot-pink attire...good for them. They're meeting with Dusty Rhodes...President Steve Keirn wants to meet with her about some changes to FCW. As Summer takes her leave, Dusty checks out the office and wonders about Naylor's purpose in life...
Audrey Marie vs. Paige Knight(w/ Sofia Cortez): Last week's show teased a rift between Paige and Sofia but they're still together for the moment. Paige does a bow-and-arrow around the ringpost...ow. Paige screams a lot...not quite on the level of MsChif but she's working on it. Audrey gets tossed to the floor on Sofia's side of the ring but manages to re-enter without incident...that's enough motivation for a comeback. Paige tries to block a re-entry sunset flip by holding the ropes but Sofia slaps her hand away...that's enough for Audrey to complete the pinning combination for the three-count. Looks like trouble in paradise for the "Anti-Divas"...
C.J. Parker vs. Rick Victor: C.J. is a former tag champ with Donny Marlow(now known as Camacho)...Victor is a graduate of the Hart Dungeon but hasn't tasted FCW gold yet. Both of these guys are looking to get over the proverbial hump as far as singles competition goes. Parker has bid adieu to the white-guy afro in favor of a more traditional hairstyle. Parker takes over, but a trip to the floor backfires as Victor shoves him backwards into the ringpost. That's not enough for Victor as he follows up with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on the floor...OUCH. Victor controls the action but a tigerdriver attempt turns into a pin reversal sequence and a whole lot of exchanged two-counts. C.J. finally backdrops his way out of the predicament and makes the comeback...the kneepads come down for a huge double-knee in the corner, then a high knee on top of that. Strongbuster...only gets two. Swandive headbutt...nothing but mat! Victor takes advantage with a huge double-underhook powerbomb and that's the ballgame.
Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins pays a visit...he's defending against long-time rival Dean Ambrose next week.
Bo Dallas(fka Rotundo) vs. Big E Langston: Will they change the name on Bo's championship banner now? Big E plays immovable object and makes a simple headlock look painful...when Bo tries to return the favor with his own headlock, Langston easily disposes of him with a back suplex. Cesaro relates a story about Big E being blocked in his parking space at a live event and personally moving the car aside...Regal repeats his wish to see Mark Henry as a mentor for the big man. Langston picks up Bo in a Body Breaker and drops him down across the knee...very cool. Big E misses an avalanche and Bo rallies...only to get mowed down by Big E in short order. Langston goes for the Body Breaker move again, but this time Bo escapes the moves and comes off the ropes with a huge spear for the victory!
Next week: Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose for the Heavyweight Title. So long from the Sunshine State!

-Brooke Tessmacher d. Gail Kim to win the Women's Title; Gail tried to use Tessmacher's own atomic facebuster against her, but Tessmacher countered into a victory roll pin for the win.
-Joseph Park d. Bully Ray in an anything-goes match; Park crawled under the ring at one point and Abyss(you know, his brother Chris?) came out to chokeslam Ray through a table. Abyss went back under the ring, then Joseph Park re-emerged to get the pinfall.
-Hulk Hogan brought out Christian Cage for a special appearance(apparently part of the deal that allowed Ric Flair to appear at the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony with the Four Horsemen).
-Kurt Angle & A.J. Styles d. Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian to win the Tag Team Titles when Angle made Kazarian tap out to the grapevine anklelock.
-Bobby Roode d. Sting to retain the Heavyweight Title after knocking him out with a beer bottle(left over from James Storm's earlier appearance).

NWA Anarchy TV #332
Commentators: Bret Wolverton & John Johnson.
Brodie Ray Chase shows a picture of a pair of damaged legs...he says they belong to Mikael Judas as he was attacked in the middle of the night. People are going on the shelf like crazy, including Shadow Jackson and the Hate Junkies...but Dan Wilson vows that Azrael will reclaim the Heavyweight Title from Shaun Tempers. For his part, Nemesis has recruited Slim J to face the NWA Elite tonight in his partner's absence...and other members of the locker room stand by Brodie and company.
Skirra Corvus(w/ Jacob Ashworth) vs. Tommy Daniels(w/ C.B. Gibson): Daniels misses a swandive headbutt, but that prompts Gibson to attack Ashworth from behind. Ashworth blows his top and chases Gibson through the ring...and when the referee tries to restore order, Jacob throws him aside! Unfortunately, the official takes this badly and calls for the bell...Daniels gets the win by DQ.
Anthony Henry vs. The Vandal for the Young Lions' Title: Johnson talks up Henry's MMA experience. Vandal's picked up a few wins lately and has looked impressive...but a title shot is another matter entirely. Henry snapmares his way out of an Eye Of The Hurricane attempt and delivers a powerslam...for two. Texas Cloverleaf is attempted but Vandal goes to the ropes, then snaps Henry's throat off the top rope. Vandal knees Henry in the face for his own near-fall...but Henry fires back in short order. Henry hits a powerbomb and transitions straight into the Cloverleaf for the tapout twin...but Brandon Parker(recent Henry opponent) attacks after the match. Parker delivers a Dark City Street Cutter and Codebreaker...then holds up the belt over the fallen champion.
Backstage, Slim J warms up for his match and gets a visit from Jerry Palmer. Palmer talks about their past history together(a la Shadow Jackson) and makes him an offer...but Slim walks away without a word.
Tag Team Champions Se7en & Lane Vasser(w/ Jeff G. Bailey) vs. Slim J & Nemesis, non-title: We finally get the actual tag champs in a match together and it's non-title...go figure. Slim J starts with Se7en and somehow that doesn't go as badly as you'd think. Nemesis tags in and he doesn't fare as well against Se7en...but he turns things around against Vasser. The heels seek refuge on the floor and J takes them out with a somersault plancha...however, he gets overpowered by former protege Vasser once they get back in the ring. Slim takes an extended beating from the champs...but he fights out of a Vasser superplex and delivers the flying inverted DDT! Time for a race-to-tag...but Se7en cuts off Slim. Nemesis breaks up Se7en's chokeslam attempt only to fall victim to a double-team by the titleholders...he still managed to low-bridge Se7en out of the ring. Vasser looks to finish, but Slim J counters Lane's fireman's-carry spinebuster into a hanging armbar...he takes him down to the mat into a cross-armbreaker and Vasser has no choice but to tap out!
Jeff G. Bailey is shocked by this revolting development...and Johnson leaves the broadcast table to join the rest of the NWA Elite in the ring. Palmer confronts Vasser and says he let the NWA Elite down by tapping out. Palmer says he's sorry it's come to this...and Se7en and Jacoby Boykins attack Vasser! Boykins gives him the powerslam and then Se7en chokeslams his own Tag Team Championship partner. Heavyweight Champion Shaun Tempers adds a Rude Awakening for good measure...is this a face turn for Vasser? Even Bailey gets in a few kicks while Vasser is down...meanwhile, the fans remind Palmer that HE techically "quit" at one time. Only ringside security is left to check on Vasser as the show fades out.
