NWA Anarchy TV #331

Commentators:  Tim E.D. & John Johnson.

Young Lions' Champion Anthony Henry & Billy Buck vs. Andrew Pendleton III & Bobby Moore:  Moore avoids Buck at the start of the match...Moore had claimed that he ended Buck's career, but Buck screwed up that story by returning.  Tim has a minor lapse in judgement as he comments that Seth Delay's T.V. Title is the only belt the NWA Elite doesn't have..while Young Lions' Champ Henry is in the ring.  A cheapshot by Moore shifts the momentum in his team's favor, allowing AP3 to deliver a neckbreaker onto the knee.  Moore mocks Buck by tuning up the band for a superkick, but it backfires as Henry blocks and takes him down into the Texas Cloverleaf...Pendleton has to break up the hold.  Henry stuns Moore with a roaring elbow, leaving both men are down on the mat...Buck gets the hot tag, but Moore tags out to Pendleton on the other side of the ring!  Buck hits the Samoan Drop and THE STRAPS COME DOWN, but Moore hits Buck from behind and then hightails it back out of the ring.  However, that's not quite enough of a distraction as Buck still takes out Pendleton with the superkick to notch the victory.

Seth Delay vs. B(r)o Newsom(w/ Jerry Palmer) for the T.V. Title:  Tim wonders if there's a lot of pressure on Newsom to win the title and whether he's still be in the good graces of the NWA Elite if he doesn't.  Newsom works on the back but can't keep the champion down for long.  Bo teases a spinebuster on the entrance ramp but Seth fights out of the move and hits a snap suplex on the ramp...that'll alter the momentum a bit.  Delay's not done as he goes to the top rope, delivering a huge double-axhandle to the floor!  Seth takes the action back into the ring and hits a missile dropkick...for two.  Bo catches Delay in a swinging uranagi backbreaker, then sets him up on the turnbuckles for a back suplex off the top!  That leaves both men down but Bo covers...for 2 1/2.  Newsom goes to the ropes but gets cut off...and Delay hits the superplex!  Seth makes a cover...for 2 1/2.  Seth goes up for the Macho Elbow...but misses.  Newsom tries to capitalize with a Flair Pin using the ropes...for 2 1/2!  Bo whips him into the ropes for the spinebuster but Seth counters with a mid-air DDT...for 2 1/2!  Delay goes to the top again...THIS time he hits the Macho Elbow...but Jacoby Boykins runs out to argue with the referee!  Seth is distracted and Newsom brings in Palmer's axhandle for a knockout shot behind the official's back!  The ref turns around just in time to see Bo covering Seth...1-2-3 and we have a newwwww Television Champion!

Backstage, the NWA Elite members celebrate...and Shaun Tempers promises an even bigger party once he retains HIS title tonight.

Shaun Tempers(w/ Jeff G. Bailey & Jerry Palmer) vs. Azrael(w/ Dan Wilson & Brodie Ray Chase) for the Heavyweight Title:  Tempers screwed Azrael out of the title not too long ago...and he's still the NWA North American Champion as well.  Johnson notes the backstory as they were once partners in the Devil's Rejects and held the Tag Titles together.  The match quickly turns into a slugfest which works in the challenger's favor...the match spills out of the ring and Tempers takes advantage of Bailey's distraction to return fire.  (It's worth noting that Bailey once managed Azrael on top of everything else.)  Tempers dropkicks the knee and focuses his attack on the leg.  Johnson gives us a history lesson about how The Reverend's stable previously lost feuds with wrestlers backed by Palmer and Bailey, so what hope does he have now that Palmer and Bailey are on the same side?

Bailey takes a cheapshot at the knee behind the referee's back...I don't envy the official with all the outside parties involved here.  Azrael fights back but Tempers escapes the setup for the Ted Bundy, then sets up Azrael on the turnbuckles.  He teases a super Rude Awakening but Azrael fights out of that...frog splash/elbowdrop hits!  That brings in Tag Team Champion Se7en & Bryan Cassanova for the DQ, but the Hate Junkies quickly even the odds...Azrael wins by DQ but obviously doesn't win the title.  Boykins runs in to assist his stable...Se7en chokeslams Stryknyn, then Se7en and Cassanova deliver a spike piledriver on Stryknyn!  Finally Slim J runs in, but the NWA Elite members were just leaving...Johnson leaves the broadcast booth to stand by them.  Brodie Ray Chase decides the Tempers-Azrael issue should be settled one-on-one at the next show...in a cage match!  Unfortunately, the damage has been done to Stryknyn as he needs to be carried from the ring on a stretcher...
