Pro Wrestling Collision TV #7

Commentators:  Kevin Hunsperger & Jerome Cusson.

Aaron Epic(w/ Sugar Dunkerton) vs. Matt Cage(w/ Zakk Sawyer):  Cage was scheduled to face Farmer Billy Hills, but Hills is injured and brings out Epic as his replacement.  Epic and Dunkerton had a previous issue with Team Overkill so Epic's out for some payback.  Christian Rose is not in the building so Team Overkill is only represented by Cage & Sawyer on this night.  I note the Regal Roll(used by Epic) has been popularly referred to as the Finlay Roll these days, so I should probably follow suit.  Good solid opener between these two...Dunkerton slugs Sawyer to stop him from interfering, but the ref gets distracted by that altercation and Cage sneaks in a low blow.  Small package(with handful of tights for good measure) allows Cage to notch the tainted win.

Mallaki Matthews & J.J. Garrett have an opportunity tonight...their buddy Jeff O'Shea walks into the promo, having apparently stolen Alex Castle's wallet for gas money.

Today's Youth(Mallaki Matthews & J.J. Garrett)(w/ Jeff O'Shea) vs. Alex Castle & Reed Bentley:  The Castle/Bentley partnership was formed an episode or two ago.  The underdogs bring the FLIPPIES~! while Castle brings the new haircut.  Angelus Layne is absent due to an alternate booking in the Chicago area, we are told.  The good guys hit a Flatliner/enzuigiri combo on Castle but Bentley breaks up Garrett's pin attempt.  Bentley takes out Matthews with the Reed Awakening(pop-up forearm smash) and J.J.'s attempted frog splash on Castle hits nothing but mat...the heels hit a spike fisherman buster(never saw THAT combo before) on Garrett and Castle gets the pin.  They're not done as they abuse the injured O'Shea; Castle drops him with the Long Kiss Goodbye(Ace Crusher).

Cage & Sawyer enlighten us...Cage assures us that Sawyer is ready for his big match tonight, but Sawyer has to take a phone call and leaves the promo area.

Joey O'Riley vs. Zakk Sawyer(w/ Matt Cage) for the No Limits Title:  Sawyer defeated Hills to earn this title shot.  The commentators joke that they should end the constant wrestler harrassment by posting a "WE ARE TALKING ABOUT YOU" sign at the broadcast table.  Sawyer rushes O'Riley with a dropkick at the opening bell for an early two-count...that may set the pace for this one.  FLIPPIES~! ensue, as you might expect...then Cage interferes to turn the tide on Zakk's favor.  Sawyer keeps Joey grounded for a while but it doesn't last long enough for him.  O'Riley makes the comeback, but he gets caught in mid-slingshot move and Zakk hits a modified Strongbuster...for two.  O'Riley fires back with a short-arm forearm smash and goes topside for the 450 Splash...nothing but mat!  Sawyer hits the brainbuster...for 2 1/2!  Zakk goes for the kill but Joey hits a jawbreaker and enzuigiri, then kicks Cage off the apron.  Zakk ducks a buzzsaw kick but O'Riley follows through straight into a low-altitude enzuigiri...and that's enough for the win!  Cage jumps O'Riley afterwards and it's a two-on-one situation...Zakk holds O'Riley for Cage's Codebreaker and the Team Overkill members pose with the belt.  The heels both seem to want the belt but they leave it in the aisleway before departing...

Shane Rich is finally getting his hands on Bull Bronson...he's fighting on behalf of the people Bronson has hurt in recent months.

Shane Rich vs. Bull Bronson:  It's safe to say that this one has been building for a while...and it's announced that the winner will be the top contender to the Heavyweight Title.  Bull hides near the entranceway(as much as a man his size can hide), but Rich sees it coming and they brawl on the floor before finally getting into the ring for the opening bell.  The fight spills out to the floor again but they make it back into the ring as the referee allows some leeway on the ten-count.  Rich uses his speed and agility advantage to stay out of Bronson's grasp, but Bull finally overpowers him and keeps him down on the mat.  Rich fights from underneath but Bronson mows him down with a clothesline...then ring announcer Bob Fester(previously injured by Bull) goes to ringside to root for Rich.  Rich can't use his usual TKO finisher so he goes with submission holds like the Koji Clutch and Crippler Crossface...Bull powers out of the Crossface in dramatic fashion but Rich fights out of a superplex.  Steamboat Press is caught and Bronson drops him with the World's Strongest Slam, then hits the Vaderbomb...for 2 1/2!  Bull goes for a chair and Fester tries to take it away from him...that nearly gets him hurt but Rich nails the suicide dive!  Unfortunately, the leeway runs out and the count reaches ten this time...so no number-one contender on this night.  Promoter Chris Hagstrom tries to restore order...and he announces a triple threat title match for the May show.  That restarts the fight between Rich and Bronson...Heavyweight Champion Heath Hatton hits the ring and they pool their efforts to fight off the big Bull!  Rich hands the belt to Hatton, but they'll be fighting for that belt in the near future...

On Episode 8:  Brandon Espinosa & Ace Hawkins vs. The Kings Of The Armory(Dunkerton & Epic) for the Tag Team Titles.
