PWC Collision Course #7

Commentators:  Nathan Norman, Kevin Hunsperger, & Jerome Cusson.

Ax Allwardt was scheduled to be in a tag match...but Gaylord Stevens(w/ J. Wellington Beauregard) gives the details on Allwardt's absence.  It sounds like the plot to Double Dragon(as Beauregard notes).  At any rate, Beauregard brings out Frank Wyatt as his new personal protege.

Creative Director Adam Testa addresses Angelus Layne's absence...she was supposed to face El Matadoro.  Testa says that, unlike Angelus Layne, Matadoro shows up for work...and he's hand-picking Layne's opponent for the May 25th show.  He turns his attention to Alex Castle...he and Reed Bentley feel like they deserve a Tag Team Title shot.  Testa disagrees and says Castle will never get a title shot as long as he has anything to say about it.  Bentley comes out and security holds him off, but Castle jumps the guardrail to catch Testa alone in the ring.  Testa asks if Castle will hit him and get himself fired in the process, but Alex says that would be too easy and Testa will know his fate in due time.  Castle vows that he and Bentley WILL win the Tag Titles regardless of what Testa has to say in the matter...

Justice & Mikey McFinnegan vs. Aaron Solo & Darren Dean:  I don't see Aaron SOLO in too many one-on-one matches, as I note EVERY TIME I SEE HIM.  Solo & Dean are making their Collision debuts against two men who are winless in PWC competition.  Manager Brooklyn Bobby shows up at ringside, presumably for scouting purposes, as the more experienced team isolates McFinnegan for a while.  McFinnegan fights out of the predicament, but Bobby wants to talk to Justice and the big man abandons his partner.  Mikey fights against the numbers game, but the odds catch up to him and Dean gets the pin with a German suplex.  Mikey confronts his "partner", leading to a heated verbal exchange...and Bobby hits Mikey from behind with a chain.  Ladies and gentlemen, we have a heel turn.
