Hadn't performed in over a month, but Bruce is setting up more shows on the Illinois side so I should really get back into practice. It sounds like there will be weekly open-mics forthcoming in Belleville and O'Fallon IL so those will be a bit closer to home. I tried out one new extended bit...the premise is good but I need to write it out to improve it. I haven't written much lately at all, so hopefully these regular shows will remotivate me...
