Midweek wrestling

TNA XPlosion

-Commentators:  Jeremy Borash & Rockstar Spud.  Ring announcer:  Angelina Love.
-"Showtime" Eric Young won a triple threat match with Phil Gunner and "Cowboy" James Storm; Storm took out Gunner with the Last Call superkick, but Young fought out of a superplex attempt by Storm and hit the Macho Elbow for the win (5:54 aired).

TNA Impact

-Commentators:  Mike Tenay & Taz.
-Executive Director Kurt Angle started the show by introducing new Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode...that brought out former champion Bobby Lashley, Montel Vontavious Porter, and Kenny King.  M.V.P. talked his way into a title shot for HIMSELF, sparking some tension with his ally Lashley.
-Tag Team Title Contenders' Tournament:  The Hardy Boys(Jeff & Matt) d. X-Division Champion Samoa Joe & Low-Ki; Jeff hit Low-Ki with the swanton bomb and Matt followed up with a moonsault for the pin (10:06 aired).
-Samuel Shaw & Brittany Garrett said that Phil Gunner only thought of Shaw as a charity case and didn't appreciate his artistic genius...that brought out Gunner for a response.  They fought until Brittany jumped on Gunner's back, allowing Shaw to stop Gunner with a low blow.  Shaw took down Gunner with the standing head-and-arm guillotine hold before indulging in some more gratuitous P.D.A. with Brittany.
-Coming soon:  Ring Ka King import Mahabali Shera from India.
-Tommy Dreamer & Brother Devon d. Brutus Magnus & Bram Cameron in a hardcore match when Dreamer pinned Magnus after the DDT (9:41).
-Jeremy Borash interviewed Rockstar Spud about his split with Ethan Carter III.  Spud admitted that he wasn't proud of his past actions but now sees that he was supporting the wrong people.  That prompted the appearance of Ethan Carter III(w/ Tyrus Clay) to run him down...he demanded an apology but Spud refused, leading to some bullying on behalf of EC3 and Tyrus.  Borash tried to intervene and EC3 slapped him...Spud fired up and finally got some backup in the form of a chair-wielding Eric Young.
-Jessicka Havok d. Gail Kim to retain the Women's Title.  The two fought before the bell and Havok got the better of the still-injured Gail before throwing her off the entrance stage.  Gail refused medical attention and the match began as scheduled; Gail tried a top-rope move but got caught and chokeslammed for the finish (6:33).
-Bobby Roode d. Montel Vontavious Porter after the Roode Bomb(Death Valley Driver) to retain the Heavyweight Title (6:56).  Lashley ran in to spear Roode after the match, but refused M.V.P.'s extended hand and left the ring.

AAW Pro Wrestling TV Season 2 Episode 3

-Commentators:  Phil Colvin & Derek St. Holmes.
-"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander d. Brett Gakiya after blocking a flying headscissors off the ropes and hitting a jumping Tombstone (9:50).
-"The Super Cop" Dick Justice is a man of the law and a man of his country...apparently he's the personal security guard of Gregory Iron.
-Flashback to 2008:  Tyler Black d. Claudio Castagnoli with God's Last Gift(small package driver) to retain the Heavyweight Title (19:35).
-Heavyweight Champion Eddie Kingston talked about his upcoming rematch with Shane Hollister and called out any of the "big boys" in wrestling.

Lucha Underground Episode #2

-Commentators:  Matt Striker & Vampiro.
-The show started with Cortez Castro and Mr. Cisco in the ring with Rycklon Stephens for some talking time...but Johnny Mundo ran into the ring to attack Castro and Cisco.  Big Ryck ducked out of the ring as Mundo cleaned house...Castro & Cisco tried to bring chairs into play, but Prince Puma ran in to even the odds.  Promoter Dario Cueto said it would be an impromptu tag match...holla holla.
-Johnny Mundo & Prince Puma d. Cortez Castro & Mr. Cisco(w/ Rycklon Stephens); Mundo and Puma hit stereo 450 Splashes on Castro and Cisco, leading to Mundo pinning Castro for the win (8:23).
-Backstage:  Konnan warned Puma not to trust anyone but him...especially not Johnny Mundo.
-Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Sexy Star d. Son Of Havoc & Ivelisse Velez; Chavo hit the frog splash on Havoc, then tagged in Star to get the pin with a victory roll (5:37).
-Backstage:  Catrina Perez(formerly WWE's Maxine) threatened Blue Demon Jr. before the night's main event.
-Mil Muertes(masked Judas Mesias)(w/ Catrina Perez) d. Blue Demon Jr. after the Paydirt (4:22).  Muertes dished out a post-match beating until Chavo ran in with a chair and the masked man bailed out of the ring.  Blue Demon Jr. got back to his feet...but then Chavo bashed him with the chair!  Ladies and gentlemen, we have a heel turn...referees entered the ring only to get punched out by Chavo as well.  Chavo picked up the chair to do more damage...a few unknown wrestlers tried to help but Chavo took them out with the chair as well.  Sexy Star came in to talk some sense into Chavo...but Chavo took HER out with the chair as well!  Blue Demon Jr. had to be stretchered out of the ring and Chavo kept attacking even as the luchador was being carted away.

WWE NXT

-Commentators:  Rich Brennan, Alex Riley, & Jason Albert.
-Sami Zayn d. Tyler Breeze after the turnbuckle exploder suplex followed by the Helluva Kick(corner boot) (10:39 aired).
-Backstage:  Renee Young interviewed NXT Champion Adrian Neville...he said Zayn deserves a title shot but he still "can't win the big one".
-Tyson Kidd d. Dash Wilder with the Sharpshooter (4:23).
-Backstage:  Marcus Louis was not dealing with his baldness very well.
-Backstage:  Renee interviewed Zayn about his win; he's been redeeming himself in the past few weeks with wins over Kidd, Titus O'Neil, and now Breeze.  Zayn said he wanted a title shot against Neville...maybe next week?
-"The Boss" Sasha Banks & Becky Lynch d. NXT Women's Champion Charlotte Flair & Bayley Rose when Sasha reversed Bayley's O'Connor Roll and held the tights to get the pin (7:49 aired).
-Backstage:  Renee met with NXT General Manager S. William Regal to confirm the Neville-Zayn title match for next week.
-The show closed with a confrontation between The Ascension(Konnor O'Brian & Rick Viktor) and Hideo "KENTA" Itami...Itami promised to bring backup and was joined by the debuting Finn Bálor(fka Prince Devitt)!  Itami and Bálor hit the ring and fought with Konnor & Viktor, getting the better of the exchange and hitting stereo low-altitude dropkicks on them in the corners.  Bálor added a double-stomp off the apron to the floor on Konnor, then Itami took out Viktor with a flying knee strike before luring Konnor into a flying double-stomp to the back by Bálor!
-Next week:  Neville vs. Zayn for the NXT Title.

WWE Superstars

-Commentators:  Tom Phillips & Renee Young.
-Adam Rose(w/ Rosebuds) d. Curtis Axel with the Party Foul(snapmare driver) (3:41).
-Jack Swagger(w/ Zeb Colter) d. Heath Slater via Patriot Lock(anklelock) (7:39 aired).
