Saturday SICW Results From East Carondelet, IL

-Promoter Herb Simmons started the show by acknowledging the absence of Marty Jannetty(see previous post), offering refunds to any fans who wanted them.  After that, Herb spoke to John Blackheart and Big Momma Love about next week's benefit show.
-They did a ten-bell salute for Ox Baker and Bob Geigel.
-Ax Allwardt d. "The Don Mega" Shorty Biggs after hitting him with a foreign object he had hidden in his tights (8:43).
-Herb interviewed Ron Powers in the ring, leading to a confrontation with Ricky Cruz and Travis Cook.  Big Daddy offered a counterpoint and Ricky went after him, but Red River Jack stepped out from behind the entrance curtain...seemingly proving that Ron Powers was NOT the masked RRJ.
-Attila Khan d. The Red Scorpion after an inverted DDT (2:12).
-"The Old School Warrior" Chaz Wesson d. Mohamad Ali Vaez; Gary Jackson came out to root for Chaz and Vaez got distracted by his presence, leading to Wesson getting the pin with a small package (8:00).
-Shiloh Jonze d. Bubba Troll after a Trouble In Paradise-style flying roundhouse kick followed by a flying forearm off the top rope (6:33).
-Herb Simmons presented Gary Jackson with an award commemorating his military service, but Gary was attacked by Mohamad Ali Vaez afterwards.  Vaez beat down Jackson with a chair and locked him in the camel clutch, then challenged him to a final match at the December show before leaving with Gary's camouflage jacket.
-"The Man Of Tomorrow" Daniel Eads d. Waco after a discus Superman Punch (8:50).
-Herb announced that Gary vs. Vaez would happen in December and it would be a Texas Death Match.
-Red River Jack & Big Jim Hoffarth(w/ "The Famous" Big Daddy) fought "The King Of Chaos" Ricky Cruz & "Ironman" Ken Kasa(w/ Travis Cook) to a no-contest as all four men brawled in and out of the ring (12:39).  Attila Khan joined the fray on the side of Cruz & Kasa and they nearly got the mask off Red River Jack, but Daniel Eads made the save with a steel chair in hand.
-Flash Flanagan d. Heath Hatton to win the Classic Title.  Hatton accidentally knocked the referee down and took Flash down into the Crippler Crossface, but the ref wasn't there to see the tapout.  Flanagan bashed Heath with his kendo stick and Hatton barely kicked out of the pin when the ref recovered to count.  Heath came back with a spear for a near-fall, then reversed Flanagan into a chair wedged between the turnbuckles...but Flash blocked a rollup attempt and held the ropes for the tainted pin and the championship (15:21)!
