-Joined in progress: Chris Sabin d. Jimmy Jacobs after faking an injury, then rolling up Jacobs for the pin (1:35 aired). Jacobs complained about the way Sabin won the match, saying the fans wanted to see Alex Shelley(Jacobs' scheduled opponent) and not "Marty Jannetty". Ouch...well, at least Sabin showed up.
-Backstage: Sabin extolled the virtues of himself and his hometown of Detroit.
-Zero Gravity(Brett Gakiya & C.J. Esparza) & Shane Sabre d. The Iron Curtain(Gregory Iron, Benjamin Boone, & Joey Vincent Martini)(w/ Dick Justice) when Gakiya pinned Boone after the Flippy Cup 2.0(Esparza suplexed a running Gakiya into a modified 450 Splash) (10:00).

-King Cuerno d. Super Fly with the fireman's-carry Michinoku Driver(previously called the Thrill Of The Hunt, this week called the Big Game) (3:29); Drago watched the match from the balcony.
-Chavo Guerrero Jr.(w/ Pentagon Jr.) d. Fenix(w/ Sexy Star); Pentagon tripped up Fenix on the top rope as the referee was occupied with Sexy Star, allowing Chavo to win with the frog splash (5:42). Afterwards, Sexy Star told Chavo that Blue Demon Jr. was coming back for revenge on him...
-Coming soon: Brian Cage.
-Johnny Mundo won a three-way ladder match with Prince Puma(w/ Konnan) and Big Rycklon Stephens(w/ Cortez Castro & Mr. Cisco); Castro & Cisco interfered for Ryck along with an unknown individual who ran into the ring late in the match. Puma was taken out of the match when Ryck press-slammed him over the top rope onto a ladder bridging the ring apron and guardrail. Mundo took out Ryck long enough to springboard onto a ladder, then kick over the ladder that Castro & Cisco were climbing. That gave Mundo enough of an opening to retrieve the briefcase for the win (19:35).
-After the match, Dario Cueto asked Mundo to return his key...but Mundo simply decked the promoter instead.

-Charlotte Flair d. "The Boss" Sasha Banks to retain the NXT Women's Title after a top-rope Natural Selection(somersault Diamond Cutter) (12:11).
-Sami Zayn d. "The Man That Gravity Forgot" Adrian Neville to win the NXT Title. Neville pulled the referee in the way of Zayn's first Helluva Kick, then brought the belt into the ring only for Zayn to kick it away. Zayn thought about using the belt with the ref down, but put it aside and nearly got rolled up for the pin. Zayn came back with an exploder suplex into the turnbuckles, then nailed the second Helluva Kick of the match to finally win the title (23:45)! The locker room emptied to congratulate Zayn with Kevin Owens at the head of the pack...Zayn extended his hand to Neville and Neville kicked it away, only to hug him instead. Owens was the last to leave the ringside area...and he turned on Zayn, knocking him to the floor and powerbombing him into the ring apron!
WWE Superstars was a best-of-2014 clipshow.
