-Commentators:  Rich Brennan, Byron Saxton, & Corey Graves.
-Charlotte Flair d. Emma Tayla with the Natural Selection(low-altitude somersault Cutter) (5:42).  Bayley Rose entered the ring to confront Emma and gave her a hug...but turned it into a Belly-To-Bayley Hugplex.  Charlotte pulled Bayley away from Emma, but not before she reclaimed her T-shirt and hairbands.
-Michael Cole did a sitdown interview with NXT Champion Kevin Owens about his feud with Sami Zayn.  Cole asked Owens if it was a personal issue with Zayn, but Owens insisted that it was just about being the champion and providing for his family.
-Rhyno d. Bull Dempsey with the Gore (1:01).  In the interest of settling the question of the true "unstoppable force" in NXT, Rhyno challenged Baron Corbin to a match at Takeover.
-Backstage:  NXT Women's Champion "The Boss" Sasha Banks compared herself to legendary female wrestlers of the past...she vowed to retain her title against Becky Lynch at Takeover.
-Backstage:  General Manager S. William Regal met with Uhaa Nation(!) to sign his contract...woo.
-Enzo Amore & "Big Cass" Colin Cassady vs. Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder never happened; NXT Tag Team Champions Wesley Blake & Buddy Murphy attacked Enzo & Cass backstage even as Carmella Van Damme yelled at them to stop.
-Michael Cole did a sitdown interview with Sami Zayn; despite the personal issue with Kevin Owens, he vowed to remain focused in their upcoming title rematch.  Zayn said he would call Owens out to the ring on next week's show and ask him why he did what he did.
-Regal presided over the contract signing for the Sasha Banks-Becky Lynch match at Takeover...Sasha "signed" the contract with her own personal signature stamp, then threw Becky over the table.  However, Becky was able to take Sasha down into her armbar submission hold before referees broke it up...
-Alex Riley updated the fans on his injury status; he wondered if the risks were worth it after hearing the fans cheer for the guy who deliberately injured him(Kevin Owens).  He wished Zayn luck against Owens, especially since he didn't fare so well in their previous encounter.
-Backstage:  Devin Taylor interviewed Dana Brooke...she feels like she's already being overlooked in NXT, especially when compared to Charlotte.
-Hideo Itami d. Tyler Breeze with the flying boot (8:39 aired); Finn Bálor watched the match from ringside and took an accidental kick from Itami leading to the finish.  After the match, Breeze attacked Itami from behind and Bálor fought him off...Bálor attempted to help Itami to his feet, but Breeze took out Bálor with a Supermodel Kick and then leveled Itami with the Beauty Shot(spinning heel kick).
