Why We Wrestle TV Episode 5

-Commentators:  Dany Only & Michael Gentry.
-Logan Creed d. "Marvelous" Marko Polo after a full nelson faceplant (6:44 1:25-7:59).
-Backstage:  "The Lethal Dose" Stryknyn vowed revenge on Iceberg for costing him his rematch with Heavyweight Champion "The People's Captain" Gunner Miller.
-Jacob Ashworth(fresh off his loser-leaves-town cage match victory over Nemesis to earn his freedom) said that he left the cage a better man in both life and the ring.  Now that his issues are behind him, he has bigger goals in mind...but he was interrupted by Gunner Miller & Agent/Attorney Jeff G. Bailey.  Bailey mocked Ashworth for his temporary servitude to Nemesis, saying Miller would never be a slave to any man.  Bailey said that he didn't want to get too personal(uh-oh...), but Jacob's marriage had gone south; he said that a slave who couldn't keep his wife and needed a chair to beat Nemesis wasn't much of a man.  Ashworth retorted to Miller that if HE was that much of a man, then why did he need Bailey to talk for him and lead him around?  Ashworth said that if Bailey was telling Miller what to do, then maybe Miller was Bailey's slave...and if he was that much of a man and Ashworth wasn't, then he should have no problem with defending his title against him.  Bailey simply said that he didn't deserve a title shot...Ashworth continued his verbage and punctuated it with a shove to Miller.  Miller then spoke for himself, saying that he'd be fine with giving Ashworth his match...
-Elsewhere:  Nemesis sat at home...he asked whether Jacob truly defeated him before breaking down into a combination of laughter and coughs...
-"The Encore" Kevin Blue, "Wild" Billy Buck, & Chris Spectra d. "The Wretched" Trever Aeon, Supernatural, & Damien Bennett; Buck pinned Aeon after Blue held Aeon in Flatliner position and Buck and Spectra added a Buckshot superkick and flying knee strike as Blue delivered the move (14:32).
-The newly-formed "Team Tag" enlightened the fans after the bell...Buck claimed that the fans had turned their backs on him.  Blue added that the fans had once loved Buck but they gradually started to boo him; he said that Slim J would never return to the building after what they did to him at Fright Night.  LIGHTS OFF LIGHTS ON and Slim J appeared in the ring with a gladiator helmet and shield (plus new ring attire).  Team Tag seemed unfazed, but Slim J dropped Spectra with a neckbreaker as Blue and Buck retreated from the ring.  LIGHTS OFF LIGHTS ON and Slim J was gone.

-Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana & Dalton Castle(w/ The Boys) d. Preston Quinn & Ken Dixon when Castle pinned Dixon after the Bangarang(tilt-a-whirl faceplant) (0:57).  After the match, Cabana told Castle that they'd be better off as singles competitors...and when Castle wanted to hug it out, Cabana stunned him with a low blow.  Ladies and gentlemen, we have a heel turn.
-Six-Man Tag Team Title Tournament:  Matt Taven & The Kingdom(Vinny Marseglia & T.K. O'Ryan) d. Ultimo Guerrero, Shigeo Okumura, & Hechicero; Taven pinned Hechicero after he and The Kingdom hit a powerbomb/double Zigzag combo (9:28 aired).
