Sunday PWCS Results From Alton, IL

-Gateway Heritage Champion Davey Vega and Greg Jovi started the show with Jovi gloating over the Ego Busters already clinching their spot in the season finale.  Jovi presented Vega with a brand-new title belt and prepared to throw the old St. Louis Anarchy belt in a trash can, but Vega stopped him...because he wanted to do it.  That brought out an enraged Gary Jay who ran Vega and Jovi out of the ring and retrieved the belt from the trash.

-Paco Gonzalez & Savanna Stone(Resurgence) d. “The Wind Of Destruction” Makaze & Angelus Layne(Blacklist) when Paco pinned Layne after a close-range superkick (7:18). (Resurgence 3-5, Blacklist 3-5)

-”The True Belieber" Everett Connors(w/ Evan Gelistico & Shawshank)(Submission Squad) d. “The Millennial" Danny Adams(w/ Greg Jovi)(Ego Busters); Danny hit the fisherman driver and covered, but Connors reversed into a victory roll pin (15:54). (Submission Squad 3-4, Ego Busters 6-1)

-”The Incredible Primal Prodigy” Matt Kenway(Look At Him After Dark)(Submission Squad) won a six-way match with Aaron Dzinic, Evan Adams, Josh Bishop, “Eye Candy” Elliot Paul, and Pat Monix when he pinned Monix after a fisherman buster (10:40).

-”The Dirty Rook” Mat Fitchett(Resurgence) d. “The Wildman From The Ozarks* Alexandre Rudolph(Blacklist) after two flying knee strikes (8:42). (Resurgence 4-5, Blacklist 3-6)

-”Lights Out” Adrian Surge(Ego Busters) d. “The Dad Bod” Sean Orleans(Submission Squad) after the spinebuster (9:37). (Ego Busters 7-1, Submission Squad 3-5)

-"The Bone Collector" Dominic Garrini d. “The Leader Of The Pack” Stephen Wolf with a modified triangle hold and elbows to the head (9:23).

-”The Miracle Worker” Davey Vega(Ego Busters) d. “The Stiff Robo Ginger” Gary Jay(Submission Squad) to retain the Gateway Heritage Title. The referee was knocked down and Danny Adams ran in with the title belt; Mat Fitchett came out to help but accidentally hit Gary with the flying knee strike. Danny took out Fitchett with the belt and the ref recovered, but Gary barely managed to kick out. Vega(who had focused on Gary’s arm and hand) managed to take Gary down and lock on a kimura for the tapout (22:12). (Ego Busters 8-1, Submission Squad 3-6)
