-Earlier today:  Heavy Machinery(Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight) psyched themselves up in the weight room...but Knight was jumped by The Mighty-61(Shane Thorne & Nick Miller).
-NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler came out to run down her list of potential challengers:  Bianca Belair, Kairi Sane, Candice LeRae.  However, she wasn't concerned about any of them, saying that the second Mae Young Classic Tournament will be a necessity to find a worthy challenger for her.
-Backstage:  Danny Burch was interviewed about the injury to his tag team partner Oney Lorcan.  The Undisputed Era(NXT North American Champion Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly, & Bobby Fish) arrived to taunt him over his loss...Burch countered by noting that they seem to be missing the NXT Tag Team Titles at the moment.  This all led to Burch challenging Cole to a North American Title match on next week's show.
-In three weeks:  Aleister Black vs. Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Title.
-The Mighty-61(Shane Thorne & Nick Miller) d. Otis Dozovic in a handicap match(Tucker Knight was unable to compete due to the earlier-shown beatdown); Miller pinned Dozovic after a lariat to the back of the head by Thorne (5:53).
-Earlier this week:  Bianca Belair gave her two cents' worth from her honeymoon, saying she's the one who deserves the next NXT Women's Title shot.
-Earlier today:  Kairi Sane said she would defeat Vanessa Borne in the ring next week en route to a shot at the NXT Women's Title.
-Also next week:  Adam Cole vs. Danny Burch.
-"The Velveteen Dream" Patrick Clark d. Chris Dijak after the Sister Abigail-into-DDT (5:03).  Ethan Carter III came out for his main-event matchup and noticed someone in the ring who had abandoned him in a recent tag match...Velveteen Dream made a quick exit before EC3 could get his hands on him.
-Backstage:  NXT Tag Team Champions Moustache Mountain(Tyler Bate & Trent Seven) talked about Undisputed Era invoking their rematch clause on next week's show.
-Johnny Gargano d. Ethan Carter III after a hanging DDT (10:07).
