Lucha Underground Season 4 Episode 9

-Commentators:  Matt Striker & Vampiro.
-Backstage in promoter Antonio Cueto's office:  Antonio was on the phone with someone about Matanza's sacrifices to the gods...but he was interrupted by Mariposa walking through the door.  She wanted a shot at the Gift Of The Gods Title and Dragon Azteca Jr....seduction didn't do the trick, but a sizeable payoff certainly did.
-The Rabbit Tribe was scheduled for a match, but Antonio Cueto decided a sacrifice to the gods was in order and London threw Mala Suerte under the bus for getting pinned last week...
-Matanza Cueto(w/ Antonio Cueto) d. Mala Suerte(w/ Paul London & Saltador) with the Wrath Of The Gods(rewind powerslam) (0:53).  Despite Saltador's desire to help his partner, Suerte was sacrified in short order.
-Jack Evans & Joey Ryan d. Ivelisse Velez & X.O. Lishus when Evans made Lishus pass out with a modified gogoplata (6:50).  Evans refused to release the hold, to the point where even Ryan took exception...Ivelisse finally re-entered the ring to break up the hold.
-Dragon Azteca Jr. d. Mariposa with a crossed-leg victory roll to retain the Gift Of The Gods Title (3:09).
-Prior to the main event, Kobra Moon acknowledged Mundo's elimination of Vibora, saying it was cold-blooded but she respected his tactics.  She said that she used her venom to bring someone back from the dead as their new ally:  Jeremiah Crane, now known as "Jeremiah Snake".  On the other side of things, Mundo decided he couldn't rely on Ricky Mundo in this match...his replacement was someone Drago knows very well:  Aero Star!
-Johnny Mundo, "The Darewolf" P.J. Black, Aero Star, & Taya Valkyrie d. Daga, Drago, Jeremiah Snake, & Kobra Moon when Mundo pinned Drago after the Fin Del Mundo(corkscrew split-legged moonsault) (8:45).  Mundo would have had to join the Reptile Tribe if his team had lost, but he got a wish from Kobra Moon instead...since Aero Star stepped up to help the Worldwide Underground for the night, Mundo returned the favor by wishing for Drago's freedom from the Reptile Tribe.  Aero Star removed the chain from Drago's neck and took him to the backstage area...in the meantime, Taya was upset at Mundo for wasting the wish on someone else.  Mundo said that his only wish could not be granted by Kobra, but by Taya...and Black passed Mundo a ring box to propose!  Taya said yes and it was made so...Mundo said "OHHHHH YEAH!" and they even played "Macho Man" Randy Savage's theme music as Black cried...
-Backstage:  Ricky Mundo talked to his doll about what just happened...and he and the doll seemed to get a good laugh over "till death do they part"...
