-Heavy Machinery(Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight) d. The Mighty-61(Shane Thorne & Nick Miller); a distraction by The Street Profits(Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) led to Dozovic pinning Miller after he and Knight hit the Compactor(assisted front powerslam) (5:16).
-Moustache Mountain(Tyler Bate & Trent Seven) d. Matt Knox & Bradley Taylor; Seven pinned Taylor after he and Bate hit a Burning Hammer/top-rope kneedrop combo) (2:31).  After the match, Bate & Seven said they were invoking their rematch clause for Takeover Brooklyn to challenge NXT Tag Team Champions Roderick Strong & Kyle O'Reilly.
-Ethan Carter III d. "The Finest" Kona Reeves with the One-Percenter v2.0(TKO) despite a distraction by "The Velveteen Dream" Patrick Clark (5:52).
-NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler d. Candice LeRae(non-title) with the Kirifuda Clutch(sleeper with bodyscissors) (7:57).  Baszler locked Candice in the Clutch again after the bell, leading to Kairi Sane hitting the ring for the save.
-Backstage:  General Manager S. William Regal added two matches to Takeover:  EC3 vs. Velveteen Dream and Adam Cole vs. Ricochet for the NXT North American Title.
-The show ended with a promo by new NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa...Aleister Black and Johnny Gargano both made appearances, leading to Black laying out Gargano with the Black Mass(spinning kick) as payback for costing him last week's match.
-Next week:  Ricochet will be in action and Keith Lee will make his NXT debut.
