-"The Working Man" Dan Adams talked about how the fans didn't want to work for anything and expected their "dads" to bail them out all the time; that led to his actions against "The Big Strong Boy" Ethan Price. Dan decided to make the grudge match a bit more interesting, announcing that the winner would become the top contender to the Crown Of Glory Title!
-"Good Vibes" Chris Hendrix(w/ "The Rock Star" Cordell Cain) d. "The Top Of The Pyramid" Dante Pharaoh via Lightning Spiral (6:43).
-The Thoroughbreds("The Natural" Atlas Armstrong & "Enchanting" Talen Graves) d. The Revolution(Quest Parker & Anthony "Worldwide" Lopes when Talon rolled up Lopes for the pin with a handful of tights (8:04).
-"The Street Reaper" Mike Outlaw(w/ Cinko) d. Phil Shark with the corkscrew Stunner (11:02).
-"The Big Strong Boy" Ethan Price d. "The Working Man" Dan Adams via grounded top-wristlock (13:16). Dan snapped and laid out Ethan with his wrench after the bell...finally "The Whole Thang" Rahim De La Suede & "The Little Blue Dragon" Tootie Lynn Ramsey hit the ring and Dan retreated.
-"The Arachnid" Blair Onyx d. "The Pop Star" B3CCA after a Neutralizer (12:00).
-"M By Elegance" Maggie Lee d. "The Little Blue Dragon" Tootie Lynn Ramsey with an O'Connor Roll with a handful of tights to retain the Women's World Crown Title (11:45). Tootie's frustration mounted as she was incredibly emotional in her return to the dressing room area.
-The Collab("The Too Turn't Lucha Unicorn" Laynie Luck & "HeartbreakCORE" Shazza McKenzie) d. Davey Bang & August Matthews to retain the United Glory Tag Team Titles when Laynie pinned Matthews after the Unicorn Cutter(flying Cutter off the second rope) (13:50).
-"The Southern Flamingo" Kody Lane d. "The Whole Thang" Rahim De La Suede to retain the Crown Of Glory Title. The match was incredibly close as each man kicked out of the other's signature moves. Lane got Rahim in an O'Connor Roll, which got reversed by Rahim before Lane rolled through the pinning combination again...and he grabbed the ropes for illegal leverage as he got the pin (16:39)! Kody and Rahim got into a heated argument after the bell, which brought out Dan Adams to blast Rahim with his wrench. That brought out Ethan Price(the next challenger for the title) to brawl with Dan. As Dan got the upper hand on Ethan, Kody re-entered the ring with a chair and Dan backed off...only for Lane to cement his change in attitude by beating down Ethan with the chair! With Rahim out of commission, Ethan fell victim to the two-on-one assault...it looked like the two were on the way out, but Kody jumped back in the ring to cap things off with a double-underhook piledriver on Ethan.
-NOTES: Glory Pro returns to the Casa Loma Ballroom on Sunday 7/26, then goes back to the Moose Lodge in Edwardsville on Sunday 8/23 for their first all-women event! I was called in to work yesterday so I couldn't make it to Midwest Throwdown Wrestling...they have a show coming up in Fairview Heights in June to celebrate Juneteenth, but it'll be a crowded Saturday and a tough choice for me.
