NXT + Impact

WWE NXT

Commentators:  Tony Dawson & S. William Regal.  Ring announcer:  Byron Saxton.

Commissioner Dusty Rhodes starts the show...we're gonna give last week's main event another shot:  Bo Dallas vs. Corey Graves vs. Conor O'Brian.  He's beefed up security to make sure The Shield members don't interfere again.

The opening sequence reminds me that I haven't seen Richie Steamboat or Jason Jordan in a while...

Tag Team Champions Adrian Neville & Oliver Grey vs. Judas Devlin & Scott Dawson, non-title:  Neville enters solo and confesses that he doesn't know where his partner is.  Adrian is fine with a handicap match under the circumstances...not that he has much choice at the moment.  FLIPPIES~!  The debuting pair use the numbers to their advantage...and as Devlin holds Neville in a chinlock, The Wyatt family members drag the injured Grey out to the entranceway!  Now Neville has that distraction on his mind as well as the two-on-one disadvantage...but he fights out of a Dawson superplex and kicks away Devlin before hitting the corkscrew shooting star press on Dawson for the win!  Neville is quick to run up the aisleway to his fallen partner as referees check on him...

Yoshi Tatsu vs. Leo Kruger:  After an early offensive flurry by Yoshi, Kruger targets the arm and slows the pace.  Leo shows some unique holds to wear down the arm before finishing with the London Dungeon armlock(tm Nigel McGuinness).

The Funkadactyls(Naomi Night & Cameron Lynn) & Sasha Banks) vs. Alicia Fox, Aksana Raudoniene, & Audrey Marie:  Sasha and Audrey have an issue these days...plus Sasha scored her first TV win over Alicia.  Cameron gets in trouble for a little while, but she gets away from Audrey long enough to tag in Naomi...the house is on fire!  Chaos breaks loose but Naomi still gets the win with the Nightmare leg lariat on Audrey.

Backstage, Tom Phillips interviews Bo Dallas...but Bray Wyatt interrupts in short order.  Wyatt says it was The Shield members who took out Bo last week and says the Wyatt Family could have protected him.  Dallas turns him down but I don't think that issue is over yet...

Next week:  World Champion Alberto Del Rio pays a visit to NXT.

Backstage, Renee Young interviews Summer Rae.  Summer feels like Paige Knight is gone for good...somehow I doubt it.  She calls herself The First Lady Of NXT and vows to make an example out of Emma Tayla next week.

Video cut-in by The Shield...they dealt with "injustice" last week, see.  Seth Rollins hasn't forgotten that he has a mandatory title rematch in the cards...

Bo Dallas vs. Corey Graves vs. Conor O'Brian:  Dallas finally has new music.  The winner gets an NXT Title shot at Big E Langston...good luck with that.  Bo's in a tough spot against two heels, but alliances are short-lived in this style of match.  O'Brian dominates for a while but Dallas and Graves briefly join forces for a double suplex.  Bo rallies against both opponents but gets distracted the arrival of Bray Wyatt on the entrance stage...

None of the wrestlers is able to hold an edge for very long...Wyatt slowly approaches the ring as Bo starts to gain momentum.  Dallas dropkicks O'Brian off the apron and hits the snap belly-to-belly suplex on Graves, but Wyatt pulls Graves out of the ring to save him!  Bo yells at his former brother but that distraction is enough for O'Brian to hit Dallas with the Rooftop Drop(full nelson slam) for the win!

TNA Impact

-Commentators:  Mike Tenay, Todd Keneley, & Taz.
-Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy d. Tag Team Champion Austin Aries by DQ(non-title) when Matt Morgan ran in to hit Hardy with the Carbon Footprint.  Bully Ray saved Hardy from taking any further abuse.
-Kurt Angle brawled with Wes Brisco and the agents tried to break things up...but D-Lo Brown revealed his allegiance to the Aces & Eights with a cheapshot on Kurt.
-T.V. Champion Brother Devon d. Sting(non-title); a "fan" threw beer in Sting's face and Devon took advantage with IT'S THE BIG FOOT for the cheap win.
-Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, & Gail Kim d. Chavo Guerrero Jr., Shawn Hernandez, & Women's Champion Velvet Sky (referee Taryn Terrell) when Gail pinned Velvet after the Eat-The-Feet.
-Samoa Joe & Brutus Magnus d. Doc Gallows & Garett Bischoff when Magnus pinned Doc after the elbowdrop off the second turnbuckle.
-After Ivelisse Velez was voted out earlier in the program, the Gut Check judges(Danny Davis replacing Taz) voted "yes" for Lei'd Tapa.
-Ken Anderson d. James Storm; the other participants in Lethal Lockdown amassed at ringside and the distraction led to Anderson hitting the Mic Check for the win.  By winning two out of the three matches between the sides, the Aces & Eights earned the advantage in Lethal Lockdown.
-A verbal showdown between Hardy and Bully Ray(w/ Brooke Hogan) ended the show...of course Hulk Hogan chimed in.  Enter Aces & Eights, enter Team TNA, big brawl, fade out.
