I attended a show at a coffee house called Shameless Grounds on Saturday night...it was a showcase but they're hoping to get a regular open-mic show going there. Hope it happens; would like something to do with my free Saturdays now that the Grove Deli isn't doing comedy shows any more. This week began with a trip to Bethalto for the Sunday open-mic...feel like I did okay and a new joke went over fairly well. The rest of the show featured John Orr, Greg McClintock, and local favorite Steve Imel...good times. There should be a good audience at Schiappa's this week with the book signing beforehand...yay.
