NXT + Impact

WWE NXT

Commentators:  Tom Phillips & Alex Riley.  Ring announcer:  Byron Saxton.

Special announcement:  Tyler Breeze has entered the building.

Dean Ambrose vs. NXT Tag Team Champion Adrian Neville for the WWE U.S. Title:  This stemmed from a confrontation on last week's show.  Fine contrast of styles here...Adrian nearly gets the upset with the Red Arrow(corkscrew shooting star press), but WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins break up the pin for the DQ.  Neville's partner Corey Graves and Xavier Woods dash to the ring, but the Shield members were just leaving...

Backstage:  Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady chat with Scott Dawson & Sylvester Lefort.  Dawson's facing Mason Ryan next week, so they're comparing their proverbial notes.  Cue the C.J. Parker PROMOBOMB~!

Emma Tayla vs. Summer Rae, Dance Battle:  Winner faces Paige Knight for the NXT Women's Title next week; Byron acts as emcee.  Since it's decided by the fan response, it seems like Emma is the clear favorite...even after Summer demands the Fandango theme for her personal tune.  Emma wins by fan response, but Summer attacks her and lays her out with the Sunset Split.

Leo Kruger vignette:  Bo Dallas will lose his NXT Title and the kids will laugh at him.  Ta ta!

Danny Burch vs. Tyler Breeze:  Cue the selfies!  Burch raises Breeze's ire by interrupting the pre-match ritual, so Tyler stuns him with an enzuigiri.  Breeze checks on his camera phone, then takes out Burch with the spinning heel kick for a quick win.  He takes one more selfie while laying back on Burch's prone form...heh.

Backstage:  Renee Young interviews NXT Champion Bo Dallas.  He doesn't feel like he "survived" his title defense against Antonio Cesaro...he won the match, didn't he?  Cesaro's a good kid with a bright future, see.  Kruger did beat him in the tag match last week, but "that's kinda on Sami Zayn" as the rookie was probably nervous being in there with a true champion.  Bo IS a former Tag Team Champion...Renee points out that he was just filling in for the injured Oliver Grey and Dallas says "that was a long time ago".  Heh.  Don't stop Bo-lievin'...

Next week:  Graves/Neville/Woods vs. Shield plus Mason Ryan vs. Scott Dawson.  With Emma banged up from Summer Rae's attack, Summer has challenged Paige for next week so that's happening as well.

Special announcement:  Tyler Breeze has left the building.

Bo Dallas vs. Leo Kruger for the NXT Title:  Despite the stalling tactics, Kruger still has quite a bit of fan support.  After Kruger controls the action for a while, Bo fights out of a superplex attempt to hit a clothesline off the second rope.  El Big Comeback ensues, punctuated with the turnbuckle-walk bulldog...for two.  Leo stops him with a throat thrust but Bo floats out of a slam attempt for an inverted DDT...for two.  Frustration sets in as Dallas beats down Kruger in the corner...but Leo fires up for his own rally!  Spinebuster sets up the LARIATOOOOO~!...for 2 1/2.  Leo locks on the GC3(London Dungeon) in the middle of the ring...but Bo somehow manages to reach the ropes after a lot of effort.  Now it's Leo's turn to lose his cool as he resorts to fisticuffs...he goes to the top rope but the splash attempt hits knees!  Dallas gets his own submission hold(armlock with a leg wrapped around Kruger's head...Stranglehold Gamma?) and Kruger finally has no choice but to tap out!

TNA Impact

-Bound For Glory Series:  Ken Anderson d. Brutus Magnus by DQ when Bobby Roode entered the ring with a chair and blatantly hit Anderson(costing Magnus points in the series).
-Tag Team Champions James Storm & Phil Gunner & O.D.B. d. The Bro Mans(Robbie Eckos & Jessie Godderz) & Women's Champion Mickie James when Gunner pinned Eckos after the over-the-shoulder slam/running neckbreaker drop double-team finisher with Storm. Gail Kim attacked O.D.B. after the match; referees broke up the attack but Mickie hit O.D.B. from behind on the way out.
-Bound For Glory Series:  Frankie Kazarian fought Christopher Daniels fought to a double countout; the two wrestled for a few minutes until both voluntarily left the ring for the finish.  Afterwards, Bobby Roode made his entrance and declared a new alliance with the Bad Influence team.
-Heavyweight Champion Chris Sabin & Kurt Angle(w/ Sting) d. Team 3-D(Bully Ray & Brother Devon).  Ray & Devon took out Angle with the 3-D and brought a table into the ring, but Sabin sidestepped Ray and he crashed through the table in the corner.  Sabin low-bridged Devon out of the ring, then got the pin on Ray with a Steamboat Press.
