Saturday DPW Results From Glen Carbon, IL + Other Show Results

Apologies for the lateness; internet and computer issues have left me offline for the most part since Friday.

-----

Rocket Mapache d. "The Alternative" Brandon Gallagher via La Majistral cradle.

"The Littlest Viking" Jake Parnell vs. Jackal ended in a no-contest when The Black Hand Warriors(Michael Magnuson & David DeLorean)(w/ Travis Cook) attacked both men. Alexandre Rudolph came to the aid of his regular tag partner Parnell, but that brought out "Ironman" Ken Kasa to join his stablemates in the Travis Cook Organization. The Bumrush Brothers(Shorty Biggs & Outtkast) finally arrived and Travis' crew bailed...but not before Executive Director Mark Bland ordered a pair of matches for the evening: Rudolph vs. Kasa and BRBs vs. Black Hand Warriors. Cook demanded that the tag match be for the belts and Bland reluctantly agreed.

Billy McNeil d. Mike Sydal after Sydal missed the Yogasault, allowing McNeil to capitalize with a La Majistral cradle for the flash pin.

"The Fittest Wrestler On Earth" Mark Sterling & "Showtime" Bradley Charles d. Steven Kennedy & Brandon Aarons; Sterling broke up a Lionsault attempt, allowing SBC to pick up the win over Kennedy with the TKO.

"Ironman" Ken Kasa(w/ Travis Cook) d. "The American Viking" Alexandre Rudolph by DQ; Cook distracted the referee after Rudolph hit a chokebreaker, leading to Kasa using his spiked facemask to attack Rudolph. Parnell pulled Cook off the apron, but the referee turned around in time to see Rudolph get a hold of the facemask and deck Kasa with it...leading to the disqualification. The Viking War Party got some payback after the match as Rudolph decked Cook, then Parnell climbed the turnbuckles and launched a 450 Splash off Rudolph's shoulders onto the manager!

"The Belt Collector" Jeremy Wyatt d. "Walking Reality" Dan Walsh; Wyatt destroyed Walsh's leg for most of the bout, leading to a tapout win with the Sicilian Crab.

Tag Team Champions The Bumrush Brothers("The Don Mega" Shorty Biggs & Outtkast) fought The Black Hand Warriors(Michael Magnuson & David DeLorean)(w/ Travis Cook) to a double-pin finish. Referee Michael Crase was knocked down in the chaos and Bland sent in Patrick Hook to officiate the contest. Magnuson hit Outtkast with the Vertebreaker as Shorty dropped DeLorean with the Shortcut(corkscrew snapmare drive); Crase recovered at this point and counted Magnuson's pin on Outtkast as Hook counted Shorty's pin on DeLorean. Mark Bland declared the finish to be a draw and announced that the Tag Team Titles would be held up!

Ricky Cruz(w/ Lucy Mendez) d. "Dirdey" Jake Dirden to win the Heavyweight Title, ending Dirden's seven-month reign as champion. It was a bad night to be an official as Patrick Hook was knocked down early in the contest; Luke Roberts helped him to the back, but that gave Cruz and Lucy free reign to do whatever they wanted. Lucy got involved and Dirden got a hold of her, leading to Jeremy Wyatt blasting Dirden with a chair from behind. Ricky hit the Cruz Control(swinging fisherman buster) and referee Michael Crase ran in to count a close near-fall. Dirden battled back, but Wyatt got involved again by hitting Dirden in the head with the title belt behind the ref's back. Cruz capitalized with an elbowdrop off the second rope, scoring the pin to capture the Dynamo Pro Championship!
