Saturday PWCS Results From Granite City, IL

-Starting scoreboard:  Egobusters 3-0, Blacklist 2-1, Team Anarchy 1-2, Resurgence 0-3.
-Everett Connors(Resurgence) d. "The Daywalker" Alex Castle(Team Anarchy) with a crucifix pin (7:47).
-Brandon Espinosa(Egobusters)(w/ Greg Jovi) d. Nate Redwing(Blacklist); Espinosa bumped the ref and Jovi threw powder in Redwing's eyes, allowing Espy to finish with the jumping DDT (5:42).
-Mat Fitchett came out with Davey Vega, saying that he was taking a break from wrestling.  Despite Vega's heartfelt reading from "That's What Friends Are For", Fitchett wouldn't change his mind...but Team Anarchy stablemates Pierre Abernathy & Evan Gelistico insisted that Fitchett was under a contractual obligation to wrestle for them for the remainder of the PWCS season.  Fitchett agreed, but said he wasn't doing it for Pierre or Evan...he was doing it for Vega and for the Granite City fans.
-Mad Dog McDowell d. "The Hoss Of The Highway" J.D. Riggs via rollup with feet on the ropes (5:48).
-Steven Kennedy & Rocket Mapache(Resurgence) d. The Submission Squad(Evan Gelistico & Pierre Abernathy)(Team Anarchy) when Kennedy pinned Gelistico with a bridging O'Connor Roll (8:35).
-Dangerous Deveroux d. Brady A. Dezire; Deveroux loosened a turnbuckle pad, then delivered a low blow on Dezire as the referee tried to fix the pad.  Deveroux followed up with a sliding forearm smash as Dezire was on his knees and got the pin after that (6:06).
-"The Rebel" Jeremy Wyatt & "Walking Reality" Dan Walsh(w/ Greg Jovi)(Egobusters) d. Makaze & Outtkast(Blacklist) when Walsh pinned Outtkast after the cobra clutch slam (13:22).
-Davey Vega(Team Anarchy) d. "Dirdey" Jake Dirden(Resurgence); Dirden got Vega in the Asiatic Spike, but Vega kicked off the turnbuckles and flipped on top into a pinning combination (10:16).  The two shook hands after the match.
-Jojo Bravo(w/ Makaze, Outtkast, & Nate Redwing)(Blacklist) d. Gary Jay(w/ Greg Jovi)(Egobusters).  Before the match, Jojo suggested a team-building exercise for the Blacklist group...which consisted of his stablemates dragging Jovi away from the ringside area and throwing him into the YMCA pool outside the building!  Dan Walsh was there to help his manage with a life preserver, but the Blacklist members stood guard at the entranceway to prevent any potential interference from the Egobusters.  With the sides even, Jojo scored a hard-fought victory with the Samurai Driver(cross-legged Ki-Krusher) (11:12).
-Final score for the evening:  Egobusters 5-1, Blacklist 3-3, Resurgence 2-4, Team Anarchy 2-4.
