She vowed to become the NXT Women's Champion, but the proceedings were interrupted by Emma Tayla & "The Total Diva" Dana Brooke. They claimed to have run Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch out of NXT(suuuuure) and vowed to make things rough for Asuka in her new locker room. Asuka dejectedly left the ring, but reached the entrance stage and turned around with a smile on her face...
-Backstage: Tyler Breeze found out that he's facing Apollo Crews at the next Takeover special...Apollo personally showed up to say hi, but Breeze was having none of it.
-Kyle Edwards presented the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament update: Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder upset The Vaudevillains to advance to the semifinals when Wilder pinned English after the Shatter Machine(Flapjack-into-Codebreaker). That means they'll face the winners of next week's quarterfinal match: Finn Bálor & Samoa Joe vs. Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady. The other quarterfinal match will take place at one of this coming weekend's live events: The Hype Bros(Zack Ryder & Mojo Rawley) vs. Jason Jordan & Chad Gable.
-The Vaudevillains("The Artiste" Aiden English & Simon Gotch) d. Wesley Blade & Buddy Murphy(w/ Alexa Bliss) to retain the NXT Tag Team Titles; "Blue Pants" Leva Bates chased Alexa back to the dressing room when she tried to interfere. The champs retained when Gotch pinned Blake after the Whirling Dervish(Gotch European uppercut to the back of the head followed by English swinging neckbreaker) (8:57 aired).
