-Backstage:  Do It Yourself(Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) talked up their NXT careers leading up to their Takeover triple threat match for the Tag Team Titles.

-NXT Women's Champion Asuka Urai d. Priscilla Zuniga(aka Angel Rose)(non-title) with the Asuka Lock(crossface chicken wing) (2:57).  Asuka hurled threats at Ember Moon, ending simply with "NO ECLIPSE!"
-The Revival(Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) offered their opinions on the NXT Tag Team Title match at Takeover.
-Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong, & No Way Jose were interviewed about their grudge match against Sanity...
-Last week backstage:  Kassius Ohno was interviewed about his NXT Title match loss to "The Glorious" Bobby Roode...but he was interrupted by "The Drifter" Elias Samson and his guitar.  He said that Ohno didn't belong there, so Ohno asked if they wanted to find out who truly belonged...they would have a "loser-leaves-NXT" match.
-Backstage:  Andrade Almas was interviewed about his Takeover match with the debuting Aleister Black.
-"The Perfect Ten" Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong, & "No Way" Jose Valenzuela fought Sanity(Eric Young, Killian Dane, & Alexander Wolfe)(w/ Nikki Cross) to a no-contest when all six men brawled in the ring (7:22 aired).  The fight continued and Dillinger got Young by himself in the ring until Nikki Cross interjected herself...but that prompted the debuting Ruby Riot(fka Heidi Lovelace) to hit the ring and fight off Cross!  The fan favorites turned the tide and stood tall to close the show!
