-Dash Wilder(w/ Scott Dawson) won a triple threat match with NXT Tag Team Champion Akam Dhinsa(w/ Rezar Selmani & Paul Ellering) and Johnny Gargano(w/ Tommaso Ciampa); Akam powerbombed Gargano, but Dawson grabbed Akam's foot to distract him while Wilder stole the pinfall on Gargano (6:17 aired).
-Debuting at Takeover:  Aleister Black.
-Heavy Machinery(Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight) d. Jonathan Ortagun & Mike Marshall; Knight pinned Ortagun after Otis slammed Knight onto Ortagun (3:39).
-Backstage:  General Manager S. William Regal presided over the contract signing for the match between NXT Women's Champion Asuka Urai and Ember Moon.  Ember said that she always knew their paths would cross...Asuka continued to doubt that Ember was ready, but Ember said she had been ready for a long time.
-Added to Takeover:  Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong, "No Way" Jose Valenzuela, & Ruby Riot vs. Sanity(Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, Killian Dane, & Nikki Cross).
-Kassius Ohno d. "The Drifter" Elias Samson with the roaring elbow in a loser-leaves-NXT match (9:14 aired).  After the match, referees and security escorted Samson away from the ring and Ohno added insult to injury by smashing his guitar.
