Lucha Underground Season 3 Episode 21
-Commentators: Matt Striker & Vampiro.
-Backstage: Prince Puma struggled with his darker thoughts; Rey Misterio Jr. had a chat with him and told him that Vampiro was just using him. Puma responded that Rey and Konnan had used him as well...and as Puma departed, Vampiro appeared in the mirror to warn Rey about getting into his business.
-Before the start of the title match, promoter Dario Cueto made it a falls-count-anywhere match.
-Johnny Mundo d. Willie Mack in a falls-count-anywhere match to retain the Heavyweight Title. Ricky Mandel, Sexy Star, "The Darewolf" P.J. Black, & Taya Valkyrie all got involved, leading to Mundo winning with an inside-out sunset bomb onto a pile of chairs on the floor (9:48).
-Promoter Dario Cueto announced the Cueto Cup Tournament; thirty-two competitors would compete for the title shot at Ultima Lucha III. Rey would challenge Mundo for the title on the same night as the tournament final.
-The Serpent Tribe(Pindar, Vibora, & Kobra Moon) d. Fenix, Drago, & Aero Star to win the Trios Titles; due to Moon's influence, Drago turned on his partners and switched sides by spitting green mist in Aero Star's eyes. Pindar & Vibora held up Aero Star for Drago to deliver a splash off the top rope; the referee counted Drago's pin on Aero Star and Moon never officially entered the match, so it appears that Drago/Pindar/Vibora are the official champions (5:35).
-Backstage: A post-shower Mundo was ready to celebrate his title retention with Mandel, but Taya informed him about his upcoming title defense against Rey. Mundo decided he was going to his dojo to train, but Taya asked him why he was walking out the door in just a towel. Mundo: "No time for pants..."
-Prince Puma d. Mil Muertes(w/ Catrina Perez) in a street fight after knocking him out with a brick given to him by Vampiro (11:41).
-Next week: The Cueto Cup Tournament begins.
TNA Impact
-Commentators: Jeremy Borash & Josh Mathews.
-Low-Ki d. Caleb Konley to retain the X-Division Title after a Warrior's Way to the back with Konley slumped over the second rope (6:30). After the match, Sonjay Dutt challenged Low-Ki to a title match on next week's show.
-Davey Richards d. Vikus Kumar with the anklelock (2:31). Ethan Carter III attacked Kumar with a leather strap afterwards until Cowboy James Storm made the save.
-Bobby Lashley d. Grand Champion Moose via spear to retain the Heavyweight Title (11:38 aired).
-Rosemary Rush d. Laurel Van Ness(w/ GFW Women's Champion Sienna Kay) via rollup to retain the Women's Title (1:59); Allie Dennis saved Rosemary from a post-match attack by Sienna.
-Alberto El Patròn d. Chris Adonis(w/ Eli Drake) after a double-stomp with Adonis hung up on the ropes to retain the GFW Heavyweight Title (8:12 aired). Moose saved Alberto from a two-on-one post-match beatdown as Lashley watched the situation from the entranceway.
