William Regal, saying that Johnny Gargano has been stalking and attacking him at the building, in the parking lot, and even at his home...so what's going to be done about it? Regal said that Ciampa would face Gargano in an unsanctioned match at Takeover: Gargano wins, he gets his job back; Ciampa wins, Gargano's barred from NXT forever.
-In-arena: Regal announced that a new title would be created and the first NXT North American Champion would be crowned at Takeover. Ethan Carter III made his big entrance and expected to be handed the title, but Regal said he'd have to earn it like everybody else: He would be in the six-way ladder match for the belt.
-Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament: The Authors Of Pain(Akam Dhinsa & Rezar Selmani)(w/ Paul Ellering) d. The Street Profits(Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford); Akam pinned Dawkins after he and Rezar hit the Last Chapter(Russian legsweep/lariat combo) (2:33).
-Backstage: Regal added Adam Cole to the ladder match; "The Velveteen Dream" Patrick Clark approached him about being in the match and was added as well.
-Lars Sullivan d. John Silver with the Freak Accident(waistlock uranagi) (1:37).
-Backstage: Regal told Lars that he's in the ladder match. Lars said he wanted to face Killian Dain; Regal made it so, along with mentioning that Dain was in the ladder match as well.
-Dakota Kai's scheduled match never officially started as NXT Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas(w/ Zelina Vega) attacked Aleister Black backstage and brought him to the ring to beat him down with a chair.
-Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament: United Kingdom Champion "The Bruiserweight" Pete Dunne & Roderick Strong d. Sanity(Eric Young & Alexander Wolfe); Dunne pinned Young after he and Strong hit an Olympic Slam faceplant/Flapjack double-team (8:40 aired).
-Backstage: Regal says that he just finalized the final participant in the ladder match: Ricochet!
