WWE NXT

-Commentators:  Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, & "Showtime" Percy Watson.
-Heavy Machinery(Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight) d. The Forgotten Sons(Wesley Blake & Steve Cutler)(w/ Jaxson Ryker) when Dozovic pinned Blake after a pop-up World's Strongest Slam (8:26).
-Earlier today:  Candice LeRae was interviewed about her husband Johnny Gargano's recent feud with Aleister Black.  Candice said her family's business was between them and she wanted to ask General Manager S. William Regal for a match with Nikki Cross.
-Earlier today:  NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler(w/ Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir) was visited by General Manager Regal...Kairi Sane will get her rematch at Takeover and it would be a best-of-three-falls matchup.
-Dakota Kai d. Taynara Conti with the sunset flip-into-backcracker (4:50).
-Backstage:  "The Blasian Baddie" Mia Yim was being interviewed about her arrival to NXT...Bianca Belair interrupted, saying she deserved the interview time more and deserved a title shot as well.  Sounds like another match setup...
-Backstage last week:  "The King Of Bros" Matt Riddle and "Limitless" Keith Lee chatted about Riddle's successful debut...Kassius Ohno chimed in, saying he had finally found Regal's shiny new toy and noted that new toys were fun to break.
-Elsewhere:  Johnny Gargano finally felt like answering some questions.  Gargano's explanation was simple:  He believed he was the ONLY one to beat Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Title and Aleister Black was simply in the way.  Gargano insisted that he was still the "good guy" and the "hero" of the story...but sometimes you have to fight a little dirty.
-Next week:  Mia Yim vs. Bianca Belair.
-Backstage:  Regal announced Todd Hanson vs. NXT Tag Team Champion Kyle O'Reilly for next week's show with the winner getting the Wargames advantage.
-Lars Sullivan d. "The Velveteen Dream" Patrick Clark with the Freak Accident(waistlock uranagi) after a distraction by NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa (9:02).  Ciampa beat down Dream after the match, but Dream turned the tide with a swinging DDT onto the title belt...despite several referees attempting to restore order, Dream followed up with the Purple Rainmaker(top-rope elbowdrop).
